Oregon: Police seek "Hispanic" child-rape suspect Gilberto Garcia-Parades for rape of 6-year-old child
Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon requests the public’s help in finding the primary suspect in the reported rape of a 6-year-old child.   In October 2004, Medford police identified Gilberto Garcia-Parades, 39, as a suspect in the case. The victim was someone Garcia-Parades knew. Before he could be arrested, Garcia-Parades fled the area. Medford police have issued a nationwide felony warrant for his arrest, with a bail set a $40,000. An additional warrant is held by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department for contempt of court. Garcia-Parades is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He has unknown tattoos on his left forearm and right arm and a scar on his neck. Former Marine Inmate Tommie Hughes executed for Dallas Slayings
Texas -- Tommie Hughes, a former Marine was executed  for the death of a college student who was shot and killed along with a friend during a robbery outside a Dallas theater in 1997. Hughes was convicted for the death of (black female) Foluke Erinkitola, 25, a University of Illinois student from Chicago who was in Dallas on a summer internship. Prosecutors say he robbed the woman and her friend and shot them as they sat in their car outside the theater. Hughes, who grew up in Dallas, served in the Marine Corps for four years but got a bad conduct discharge after a court-martial. - (crime)

An arrest warrant was issued Monday for the man police say took a 12-year old Knoxville girl. Police say 37-year-old Seth Lee Mitchell checked out Ashley Bushue from her school on Friday. Mitchell is the boyfriend of Bushue's aunt. If he is found, police can arrest him on an especially aggravated kidnapping charge.
