Mary Konye, 21, disguised herself in a Muslim veil and attacked Naomi Oni after following her home from work, a jury at Snaresbrook crown court in London found. Oldham Athletic midfielder Christian Montano, 22, and Andres Hurtado, 23, and Camilo Valencia, 22, from Hackney, attacked the woman in an apartment in Romford as she pleaded with them to stop, it is claimed. The woman allegedly woke up naked with the former West Ham player Montano having sex on top of her while his friends watched. He stripped her clothes off and calmly carried her into the shower where he washed the blood from her lifeless body at a flat in Streatham, south London. The killer attempted to scrub the murder scene clean and then searched on the internet for Wilde's The Ballad of Reading Gaol, which includes the verse: 'Yet each man kills the thing he loves … The coward does it with a kiss, the brave man with the sword.' UK: 'Depraved' black passenger jailed for sex act in front of schoolgirl on bus A 47-YEAR-OLD man has been jailed for a “depraved and corrupt” act in which he performed a sex act on a bus in front of a schoolgirl. Clement Kumah was jailed for 27 months after he was caught in the act on a No 36 bus in Bolton on December 31, 2012. Kumah was found guilty on Thursday at Bolton Crown Court of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child, despite his claims the man in the CCTV was not him. He fabricated a story that he was working at an office computer at the time and claimed he was a victim of mistaken identity.    This is the shocking moment a pedestrian was killed by a single punch after he got into a row about cycling on the pavement. Andrew Young, 40, became involved in an argument with cyclist Victor Ibitoye after he told him that cycling on the pavement was dangerous. The cyclist rode off but moments later his friend, Lewis Gill, approached Mr Young, who suffered from Asperger’s Syndrome, and punched him in the face without provocation. CCTV footage shows Mr Young falling backwards and striking his head on the road surface. Gill, 20, can then be seen to walk away after looking back to see his victim lying motionless on the ground. Former Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger, 22, is accused of raping the woman after the pair had been out together in January last year. 'Their sentence won't teach them': anger of bus bell attack victim as trio are spared jail   A passenger attacked by three teenagers after he asked them to stop pressing the bell on a night bus today hit out after they were allowed to walk free from court. Bronson Maisey, 40, had his front tooth knocked out in the assault on the N25 bus to Stratford when the trio pounced on him. In front of a dozen other passengers, he was punched and slapped and had to cling to a pole as his attackers tried to drag him off the bus. He spoke out after his attackers were handed suspended sentences and each ordered to pay him £500 in compensation. The three teenagers ran off but were tracked down by police following appeals for information. UK: Dean Mayley Killing: Two (Black) Teenagers Charged   Police have charged two teenagers over the murder of 24-year-old Dean Mayley in London. Ryan Beresford, 18, and a 17-year-old who cannot be named, are due to face Brent Magistrates' Court on Wednesday. The pair were arrested after turning themselves in at a London police station. Mr Mayley, who suffered from learning difficulties, was stabbed as he walked along Ruislip Road, in west London, on February 7. His condition meant that he had a mental age of around nine. Two teenagers - both aged 17 - have already appeared at Willesden Youth Court charged with murder, conspiracy to rob and possession of an offensive weapon. London: Sex Worker Murder Suspect Caught On CCTV  Detectives have released CCTV footage of a man suspected of murdering a sex worker in Earls Court. A manhunt was launched to find Robert Richard Fraser after the body of Maria Duque-Tunjano was found on Friday. The footage of Fraser, also known as Robert Aleem and Shia Robert Jackson, was recorded in central London on Sunday. Police believe the suspect could still be in the central or northwest London area. The investigation was launched after police were called to a flat in Earls Court Square on Friday lunchtime. The body of Miss Duque-Tunjano had been there for several days and a post-mortem examination found her death came after a blunt blow to her head. UK: Ipswich 16-year-old girl rape trial: Three found guilty Two men and a teenage boy have been found guilty after a 16-year-old girl was raped and held captive in Ipswich. The victim was attacked at a property in Foxhall Road in June. Jama Abdullahi, 23, of no fixed address, and Badrdyen Saeed, 19, of Newham, east London, denied rape and false imprisonment, while a 17-year-old boy denied false imprisonment. They are due to be sentenced at Ipswich Crown Court on 26 February. The three defendants were convicted by a jury after a trial which began on 20 January. - (UK) |

So why a sudden increase in HIV prevalence amongst white British heterosexuals? The terrified victim, aged 19 at the time, fled her home in Birmingham and resettled in another part of the country to escape the memory of what happened. But after 12 years of silence she finally went to police in November 2011 and officers launched a search for her attacker. A judge said Herve Mika, 24, should have been deported to his native Congo in central Africa, five years before he attacked a vulnerable pensioner in Ipswich, Suffolk. Mika was convicted of racially or religiously aggravated assault and affray at Coventry Crown Court in 2008, and the judge recommended he serve his sentence before being thrown out of Britain. However, he successfully appealed against his deportation in July last year, arguing he would not get the medication he needed for his mental illness in the Congo. In March this year Mika, 24, committed grievous bodily harm on a frail 86-year-old at a Sainsbury's. The attack has turned his devastated victim's life upside down, Ipswich Crown Court heard. UK: Wendell Baker guilty of rape  Wendell Baker, 56, of east London, had denied raping Hazel Backwell, then 66, at her home in Stratford, east London, in 1997. In 1999, a judge decided the case could not proceed for legal reasons and Baker was found not guilty. A legal change in 2005 allowed retrials in certain circumstances and a new hearing took place at the Old Bailey. Baker will be sentenced on Friday. The judge said he would consider a life sentence. Baker broke into her home as she slept, tied her hands behind her back with flex and then beat and raped her. "After the rape and attack her life was never to be the same again. The Moroccan was captured on CCTV walking off with a rucksack and trolley bag and dressed in a jacket bearing the Billy Boyce logo. Carabinieri paramilitary police in Milan said the 21-year-old attacker was taken into custody shortly after the attacks in a residential area on the northern outskirts of the city. People working in cafes and other businesses near the attack said that the man wildly swung a pickaxe, running down streets and ferociously striking passersby, mainly on the head. Pools of blood stained the streets. A 40-year-old man died after being struck on the head with the pickaxe and suffering further blows to the abdomen while he lay on the ground, police said. The man, identified as Mada Kabobo, 21, was jailed while he is investigated for murder and two counts of attempted murder for the two persons who were most critically wounded, police said. Police said he was in the country illegally, and had previously been arrested in the Puglia region for alleged, theft, robbery, property damage and resisting public authorities.

Simon Lenighan, 18, is alleged to have carried out the sex attack on the woman with another man, Nathan Campbell, 23, in the Etap Hotel in Leeds. Leeds Crown Court heard the woman was woken by a chambermaid the next morning and had no idea where she was how she got there. The court heard that Lenighan and Campbell had left and her mobile phone and money were missing. Opemipo Jaji, 18, subjected his most recent victim to a three-hour ordeal and threatened to stab her after she tried to run away. He was found guilty of rape at the Old Bailey after the brave youngster gave evidence against him. Throughout his trial, the judge Mr Justice Singh had directed that the jury should not be told of Jaji's obsession with young white girls, nor the race of a girl he had attacked 21 months earlier. |
UK: Luton man Kelsey Williams-Brown jailed for homo rape of teenage boy A man has been jailed for eight years for the rape of a 17-year-old boy he robbed and threatened with a knife. Kelsey Williams-Brown told his victim he would stab him in the throat and that it was his "lucky day", Luton Crown Court heard. The 19-year-old, of Vincent Road, Luton, admitted robbery, rape and attempted rape, which happened near a Luton alley at 11:30 GMT on 7 January. UK: Pensioner fought off attacker (with African name) who tried to rape her in her home  A judge has praised a pensioner for fighting off an attacker who tried to rape her in her home. Judge Simon Hammond spoke of the victim's "courage, tenacity and presence of mind" as he yesterday jailed Abraham Nhliziyo for 10 years over the attempted rape. The woman, who is in her 70s, had gone to investigate a noise outside her home in the early hours of September 15 last year. "The complainant heard a noise and thought it was a cat. She went to the kitchen and heard a noise at the back door. She saw a figure and thought it was a neighbour who had just come out of hospital. It was the defendant. "She opened the door and the defendant didn't say anything, he simply shoved her back into her home."
