Police Identify Black Accused Of Shooting White Officer   Shane Lonix, 22, 19 Rolling Pines Cove, is accused of shooting Cannon on Friday after Assistant Cheif Joey Cannon initiated a traffic stop on a truck Lonix was allegedly driving. Cannon was shot once in the chest. He was pronounced dead at Conway Regional Medical Center Friday. One-eyed nappy-headed negro arrested for rape Angelo Tavares Williams is charged with Second Degree Forcible Rape for an incident that took place early Saturday morning at a residence in the Copperfield Apartments complex. The victim was in New Bern visiting her cousin. Both women were at the residence at the time of the assault and reported the incident to police. Investigators Name Black Suspect In 1991 Rape Case  Monday a break in a 1991 Pocomoke rape case. Worcester County investigators believe Leslie Maize brutally raped a woman in her home 18 years ago. They say DNA evidence has been linked to Maize, who is currently serving time in New York on unrelated charges. He is scheduled to be released in 2014. African Damilola Mayowa Adewale confesses to rape of Penslyvania co-ed Moon Township police have arrested a 22-year-old man after he confessed to sexually assaulting a Robert Morris University student and plotting in a notebook to kill her. Police said when officers arrived they saw the victim, a 20-year-old woman, with facial injuries and having trouble breathing outside the apartment. "We did not see her until she got closer and she said, 'Help me, please help me,' and we did, we called an ambulance," a neighbor said. Police said they also found Damilola Mayowa Adewale, 22, holding a black cord in his hand. When asked what had happened, police said Adewale told them, "I tried to kill her but she didn't die so I punched her and choked her." - (Newsroom) |

DNA links black to brutal 2001 gang rape of White 16-yr-old girl  Nearly eight years after a 16-year-old girl was brutally raped in the men's room of a Lacey transit center, a suspect has been identified by a positive DNA match and placed under arrest.
The suspect was identified by Lacey police as Charles J. Davis, 45. The then-16-year-old girl was dropped off by her mother on Sept. 24, 2001, so she could catch a bus to Olympia.
The girl asked a group of men where the bus schedules were posted, and she was directed to an area near the restrooms.

Black YMCA worker rape suspect says "did not know she was 13" BREMERTON, Wash. -- The mother of the YMCA employee accused of child rape claims the police have the story all wrong.
Malachi Powell, a 21-year-old employee of the Kitsap Family YMCA, has been charged in the rape of a 13-year-old member of the club.
But Powell's mother, Vanessa Kroger, says Powell had "consensual" (statuatory rape) sex with a girl whom he thought was much older.
"When he called yesterday, it was, 'Mom, I can't believe this. I did not know she was 13,'" she said. - (Newsroom) |
Black hired off Craigslist to rape man's wife N.C. (AP) -- A man has been arrested and charged with raping a North Carolina woman in an attack allegedly arranged by the victim's husband on Craigslist. The online classified service helped authorities locate 39-year-old Rodney Liverman Sr. and he was taken into custody at his home. Liverman is charged with first-degree rape and three other sex offenses and remains in jail on a $250,000 bond. The attack occurred May 31 at a home about 25 miles northeast of Charlotte. Police said a man entered a home with a knife and went into the woman's bedroom, demanded money and ordered her to take off her clothes before raping her. The victim's husband was also in the room and backed away, watching the attack, investigators said. - (Newsroom) |
Black rape suspect found hiding behind big-screen TV The man accused of raping an 18-year-old woman was arrested Thursday night after he was found hiding behind a big-screen television. Police say Hurley is accused of attacking and raping an 18-year-old woman early Sunday at Hurley's residence. Hargett said the woman reported that she was choked and hit several times in the face. He said scratch marks and bruising were visible on the her face and marks could be seen on her throat.

Three reported members of the Vagos Motorcycle Club are behind bars on suspicion of gang raping a woman in their North San Jose clubhouse last month, and detectives are asking if other women have been similarly attacked. Charged with multiple counts of sex assault along with gang enhancements are:
