Black Convicted felon and sex offender arrested 17 days after release from prison A convicted violent felon and registered sex offender in Latham has been arrested on a string of new charges, include rape, assault and child endangerment. Ralph White, Sr., 43, was arrested at the Sycamore Hotel in Latham by Troy Police and US Marshals. White had been released from prison on May 12th after serving the maximum sentence for a 2005 rape charge involving a minor. His latest arrest includes charges of first-degree rape, unlawful imprisonment, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree assault. Police say there are both adult and child victims in the new case. - (Newsroom) |
Black Ft. Riley Soldier Arrested in Junction City, Riley Co. Rape Cases A Fort Riley soldier is charged with several recent rapes and abductions in Riley County and Junction City. Riley County Police say an officer stopped 19-year-old Tony Lewis in a residential area because he looked suspicious. The officer noticed Lewis matched the denoscription of the suspect in several recent rapes. Riley County and Junction City officers, along with military agents investigated and searched Lewis' vehicle and barracks at Fort Riley. They arrested Lewis Thursday on three counts of aggravated kidnapping, two counts rape, two counts aggravated robbery, two counts aggravated sodomy, one count aggravated burglary and one count of criminal threat. - (Newsroom) |
Black Rape suspect shoots detective, kills self at Sheriff's Office POUGHKEEPSIE — A rape suspect shot and wounded a Dutchess County sheriff’s detective, then held police at bay for three hours before killing himself Wednesday afternoon inside the sheriff’s office, authorities said. Authorities identified the dead man as 30-year-old Ken Tweal Catts, a Level 3 sex offender from Hyde Park. They said Catts had been interviewed by two members of the department in connection with the crime and was going to be charged and brought to court for an arraignment when he tried to escape, struggled with a detective and managed to take the detective’s weapon. “The suspect then fired upon the detectives, striking one of them in the head” - (Newsroom) |
DNA evidence links convicted black sex offender to 2007 Fairfield rape More than two years after Fairfield police launched a search for a man suspected of raping and robbing a woman outside a Grasselli Road nursing home, DNA evidence has linked a convicted sex offender to the crime, police announced today. It was a conviction in an unrelated sodomy case that led investigators to 20-year-old Cornelius Smothers. When the rape occurred, the victim was able to give police a denoscription of her attacker -- an 18- to 25-year-old black man with dark complexion wearing a black T-shirt and khaki shorts armed with a semi-automatic handgun -- and investigators collected physical evidence. - (Newsroom) |
A surprise witness testified in the trial of Darryl Littlejohn, the black bouncer charged with raping   and murdering Imette St. Guillen. The witness was a woman the DA said Littlejohn raped four months before Imette St. Guillen.
The 22-year-old student who was snatched from a Queens street after spending the night at a Manhattan club picked Littlejohn out of a photo array, but failed to point him out in a line-up.
Yet, she is one of the key witnesses for the prosecution, who said in October of 2005 she was stopped by a man in uniform who got out of his car and asked for her ID.
"At that moment I realized he's not an officer. I tried to run away. I screamed. He said, 'Shut the f*** up.' Then I was handcuffed from behind and put into his car," she said. - (Newsroom) |

Black Sex offender accused of raping three women A registered sex offender, who was released from prison three months ago, faces charges of raping three women in abandoned houses and wooded areas. Raleigh police arrested Travis Gillis, 43, of 1420 S. Wilmington St., Friday night and charged him with kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon and rape, police said. He tried to strangle the victims, according to arrest warrants. All of the victims survived the attacks. - (Newsroom) |

Antoine Lanier was on trial this week for the kidnapping, rape and murder of Sierra Slaton four years ago. Her mutilated body was found in McKelvey Lake on the city's east side. Black Charged in Downtown Rape Memphis Police arrested a suspect in a downtown rape Thursday night. 31-year old Eric Bledsoe was arrested around 9:30pm near S. Parkway and Bellevue and charged with especially aggravated burglary, aggravated rape and felony theft. The incident occurred around 5:00am Monday morning at the victim's downtown home near Third and Pontotoc. The victim suffered minor injuries in the attack, and her 2001 Jeep SUV was stolen. Black with kids in back of car abducted women to rape  An alarming crime has a man behind bars and police asking a lot of questions. They say a man abducted two women, all while his children ages four and five, were in the car with him. Police arrested the suspect on Thursday in southeast Dallas. When they arrested him, his two little boys were with him. Two women say they were kidnapped, taken to a vacant house and raped. Police reports say at the time: "the woman noticed two male children ages four and five years old in the back seat. The children referred to the suspect, Quinton Young, as "daddy." - (Newsroom) |
Black Teen Arrested In Attempted Child Rape At St. Louis Daycare Police have arrested a man who they say sodomized a day care child. The alleged incident happened on Wednesday at the Dependable Home Day Care. Police say the day care provider's husband was watching the children when he caught the suspect having inappropriate contact with the victim. Thomas Washington, 19, admitted to investigators that he told the female victim to pull up her dress but did not penetrate the child. Washington is charged with attempted statutory sodomy and attempted statutory rape. Washington is not an employee at the day care center. Black Bahamian Gets Life In Florida Prison for sexually savaging an eight-year old girl. A Palm Beach County judge handed down four life sentences to Milagro Cunningham today for the rape, beating and attempted murder of an 8-year-old girl. Cunningham was tried for sexually assaulting the child then leaving her to die under a pile of concrete blocks in a Lake Worth trash bin in 2005. On April 16th, a jury found Cunningham guilty of second degree attempted murder, kidnapping, three counts of sexual battery and aggravated child abuse. - (Newsroom) |

Black indicted For Rape of Second Teen Girl A 20-year-old man locked up for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl, near Lytle Park, is now accused of raping a second girl. Miciah Black has been indicted for the rape of a 17-year-old. Black has been locked up on a half million dollar bond since he was arrested for an attack May 4th. Today, Black was indicted on eleven charges, including rape, abduction and robbery. The second attack involves a girl who was targeted in downtown Cincinnati February 18th. - (Newsroom) |
Police searching for black that raped 13-year-old girl Ashdown Police need the public's help finding a man wanted for allegedly raping a teenage girl. Early on the morning of May 9, police responded to a rape call at the Riverdale apartments. Once there, they learned the victim was a 13-year-old girl. According to detectives, the girl said while she was asleep a man she knew came into her room and raped her. Other witnesses told police they saw the man pulling his pants up while running from the apartment after the alleged assault. Police say they've now got a warrant out for the arrest of Kio Demarcus Gaines. - (Newsroom) |
