DNA links black to brutal 2001 gang rape of White 16-yr-old girl  Nearly eight years after a 16-year-old girl was brutally raped in the men's room of a Lacey transit center, a suspect has been identified by a positive DNA match and placed under arrest.
The suspect was identified by Lacey police as Charles J. Davis, 45. The then-16-year-old girl was dropped off by her mother on Sept. 24, 2001, so she could catch a bus to Olympia.
The girl asked a group of men where the bus schedules were posted, and she was directed to an area near the restrooms.

Black YMCA worker rape suspect says "did not know she was 13" BREMERTON, Wash. -- The mother of the YMCA employee accused of child rape claims the police have the story all wrong.
Malachi Powell, a 21-year-old employee of the Kitsap Family YMCA, has been charged in the rape of a 13-year-old member of the club.
But Powell's mother, Vanessa Kroger, says Powell had "consensual" (statuatory rape) sex with a girl whom he thought was much older.
"When he called yesterday, it was, 'Mom, I can't believe this. I did not know she was 13,'" she said. - (Newsroom) |
Black hired off Craigslist to rape man's wife N.C. (AP) -- A man has been arrested and charged with raping a North Carolina woman in an attack allegedly arranged by the victim's husband on Craigslist. The online classified service helped authorities locate 39-year-old Rodney Liverman Sr. and he was taken into custody at his home. Liverman is charged with first-degree rape and three other sex offenses and remains in jail on a $250,000 bond. The attack occurred May 31 at a home about 25 miles northeast of Charlotte. Police said a man entered a home with a knife and went into the woman's bedroom, demanded money and ordered her to take off her clothes before raping her. The victim's husband was also in the room and backed away, watching the attack, investigators said. - (Newsroom) |
Black rape suspect found hiding behind big-screen TV The man accused of raping an 18-year-old woman was arrested Thursday night after he was found hiding behind a big-screen television. Police say Hurley is accused of attacking and raping an 18-year-old woman early Sunday at Hurley's residence. Hargett said the woman reported that she was choked and hit several times in the face. He said scratch marks and bruising were visible on the her face and marks could be seen on her throat.

Black faggot sodomizes and rapes 8-month-old boy to death The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's office says an autopsy of an 8-month-old boy led them to arrest the boyfriend of the baby's mother. According to Sheriff Newell Normand, police responded to a call of an infant who was unresponsive. Normand said that officers found the lifeless body of the infant, Da-Von Lonzo. The baby was taken to Ochsner Westbank, where doctors pronounced him dead at the scene. After an autopsy showed the death to be a homicide, Normand said that police interviewed 17-year-old Arnold T. Ross, who described himself as the boyfriend of the baby's mother. Police say the autopsy report also noted multiple fractures throughout the body consistent with that of a beating. Woman Bites off Tongue of Alleged Black Rapist A West Covina man's tongue was bitten off by a woman during an alleged rape in a Riverside County suburb, and he was arrested as he sought treatment at a nearby emergency room. The suspect, Ronald Douglas McGowan Jr., 32, is a registered sex offender, according to police. If convicted, he would face a lengthy, mandatory prison sentence because of three prior convictions, jailers said. Police were sent to a reported rape in progress at 10:23 a.m. Friday at the Waterstone of Murrieta Apartments. He said they found a woman in her apartment with injuries consistent with a violent assault, Conrad said. During the alleged attack, she bit the suspect's tongue off in an attempt to defend herself, Conrad said. Police found the severed tongue at the alleged crime scene. - (Newsroom) |
