Black Former school worker charged with rape, battery of students A former employee at Sweetwater High School has been charged with statutory rape and sexual battery of three female students. And investigators believe more students may have been targeted. Cedrick Lamont Holmes, 31, a newlywed whose wife is pregnant, is charged with aggravated statutory rape of a 17-year-old Sweetwater High School student. Investigators believe the statutory rape happened in Loudon County so Holmes is charged there. He was arrested Thursday and investigators say he confessed. Investigators also believe Holmes illegally kissed and touched another female student under age 16 at Sweetwater High around 10 different times this spring. - (Newsroom) |
No bond for black coach accused of rape Bruce Martin is accused of raping two women that he lured over the internet. Once he met them in public, investigators say Martin used a gold badge and handgun to force the women into his car. The police reports, which you can see in detail on the link above, are a lurid read.Craigslist Rape Arrest Once inside his sports car police say Martin raped the woman at gunpoint. She was able to get out of the car with the used condom in her hand. She screamed to a maintenance worker for help but he didn't speak English. Another passer-by saw her barefoot and crying and stopped to take her back to her vehicle. |
Black Air Force Colonel accused of rape, indecent assault, larceny New information tonight on a Sheppard Air Force Base colonel accused of several crimes. Officials have set a mid-June court martial date for Colonel Samuel Lofton III. Lofton was the center of an Article 32 hearing in February and all charges from that hearing were referred for court-martial. He's accused of one count of rape, four counts of indecent assault, 19 counts of larceny, two counts of dereliction of duty, and two counts of conduct unbecoming of an officer and a gentleman and being absent without leave. Black U.S. Marine guilty of Okinawa girl sexual abuse An American Marine was found guilty in a military court of abusive sexual conduct of a 14-year-old Japanese girl in Okinawa, southern Japan, the military said Friday. Staff Sgt. Tyrone L. Hadnott, 38, also was sentenced to four years in prison in his court-martial, said Master Sgt. Chuck Albrecht. Four other charges, including rape of a child under 16, making false official statements, adultery and "kidnapping through inveigling," or trickery, were dropped, Albrecht said. Japanese police initially apprehended Hadnott in the Feb. 10 attack, but released him after the girl dropped charges. Negro wanted on rape, burglary charges arrested A 19-year-old man wanted on 11 charges including rape and burglary has been arrested. High Point police officers responded to 1209 Delk Drive on a tip that Brandon Lamonte Bailey was attending a party. He was arrested there without incident, police said. Detectives had been investigating a series of sexual assaults and burglaries in the neighborhood. Bailey was placed in jail under a $800,000 bond. He was charged with: first-degree rape, first-degree sexual offense, attempted first-degree sexual offense, felony breaking and entering, two counts of attempted first-degree rape, two counts of first-degree kidnapping, and three counts of first-degree burglary. - (Dark Crime forum) |

Kelly faces charges he videotaped himself having sex with an underage girl A judge has denied a motion from news organizations seeking immediate access to sealed court records and trannoscripts in the R. Kelly child pornography trial. Judge Vincent Gaughan (GAWN) also refused to lift a gag order forbidding attorneys to talk about the case. The judge says he's not trying to inhibit the press. But he says the time isn't right to release the information and keeping it secret is the only way to guarantee a fair trial. Black Teen admits guilt in Massillon rape case One of the teens facing rape charges involving 12-year-old girls has pleaded to a reduced charge. Mario A. Elder, 18, pleaded true — the juvenile equivalent of guilty — to gross sexual imposition, a third-degree felony. He had been charged with rape, a first-degree felony. It was reduced during a court hearing. Elder was taken to Jail to await a sentencing hearing. Family Court Judge David E. Stucki said Elder violated terms of his pretrial release by skipping school earlier this week. |

Negro charged with rape of child Gates Police Officer, Brian Ritchie, arrested 30-year-old Lawayne Turner of Gates for having sexual intercourse with a child who was known to him. Turner is charged with rape in the first degree and endangering the welfare of a child. Tuner was remanded to Monroe County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash or $75,000 bond and is due back in court on Thursday. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |
Negro started sexually assaulting her when she was 8 years old An Orange Lake black has been arrested and charged with committing sex acts on a 14-year-old girl, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office. Lee Curnel Hunt, 33, allegedly assaulted the child, who is now 14, over the last six years. Hunt was arrested after a North Marion Middle School resource officer reported the crime. The victim originally reported the case in 2004, but she recanted her statements and Hunt avoided charges. The girl said that two months after the charges were dropped against Hunt, he started engaging in sex acts with her again. "She confided in a friend this time," Riggins said, "and she told the school resource officer. That's how we learned of it." The girl said that Hunt last assaulted her during spring break two weeks ago. She said Hunt started assaulting her when she was 8 years old. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |
Teen girl raped for 5 years by black boyfriend of foster mother  19-year old Crystal Davis is breaking her silence about years of sexual abuse she claims at the hands of her foster care provider, 70-year old Lawrence Bright. Bright was her foster mother’s boyfriend. “Anytime my mom wasn’t home and sometimes maybe she was there and she like had no clue but most of the time it’s when she wasn’t there,” said Davis.The girl told of years of abuse she claims began when she was just 13. With Bright now behind bars, Davis says she's publicly telling her story in hopes that others in a similar situation might find the courage to tell someone. “I want them to know it’s not their fault and they should tell as soon as possible because things could get worse in the long run,” said Davis. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |
Two black nursing home workers steal identities of elderly patients The search continues for two people who took part in an elaborate ring that involved stealing the identities of elderly patients at two Northern Kentucky nursing homes. Prosecutors said that the suspects opened credit cards in the victims' names and then spent more than $250,000. The suspects include Kimberly Knight, who worked at Carmel Manor in Ft. Ex-boyfriend charged with killing $5M lottery winner She won $5 million on her 41st birthday. Now she's a murder victim.
Doris Murray, 42, was found dead in her East Dublin home about 1:40 Monday afternoon. Investigators say she had been stabbed several times. On Tuesday, police charged her ex-boyfriend, Derrick Lorenzo Stanley, 51, with her murder. A witness said he saw Stanley arguing in the front yard with Murray early Monday afternoon. Somebody called the sheriff. When deputies arrived a few minutes later, Stanley was gone. Murray was found dead inside her home, stabbed multiple times. - (Dark Crime forum) |

Negro indicted for attempted murder of off-duty female police officer stabbed 10 times  Ga. -- A Clarke County grand jury has indicted a man on an attempted murder charge and other felony counts in the stabbing of an off-duty police officer. According to the indictment, Steven Anthony Eberhart, 44, repeatedly stabbed Athens-Clarke County police Sgt. Courtney Gale and intended to murder her. Black administrator of adult care facility arrested in death of vunerable White man  The license for the administrator of Southside Residential Care Facility was suspended after the he was arrested earlier this week. The South Carolina Board of Long Term Health Care Administrators voted to temporarily suspend the license after administrator Roy Bowers was arrested and charged with the neglect of a vulnerable adult resulting in death. Black boyfriend burns the skin off of his girlfriend's blonde baby boy   A 2-year-old child was severely burned and the child’s mother Christy Ely and her boyfriend were arrested and face charges in connection with the case, police said. Police said John Carter Jr., 33, placed the child is a scalding hot bathtub and they said they do not believe it was accidental because of the way the child was burned. Police said the boy is recovering from severe burns in a Pittsburgh hospital. “The lower leg, back of the legs, the little boys’ private area. It’s horrible. It’s just one of the worst things I’ve seen,” said Steubenville Police Chief Bill McCafferty. “Anybody who does this to a child. Black Arrested in Beating of Elderly White Female Funeral Home Owner  Memphis police arrested a man accused of robbing and beating a woman who owns a funeral home in Downtown Memphis. Alex House is charged with robbery, burglary and attempted first degree murder. According to investigators, House is accused of breaking into the Qualls Funeral Home early Thursday morning, April 24, 2008. Police say House beat 87 year-old Cenetta Qualls.
