After six years of tireless campaigning for justice for their dead child, it was a crushing moment simply too much to bear. Paul and Andrea Gallagher had invested their hearts, souls and £50,000 life savings in a fight to bring a manslaughter case against the three men they hold responsible for the death of their son, Paul Jnr. The two-year-old died from terrible head injuries during what should have been a dream trip for the family to the Bahamas after an out-of-control speedboat ploughed across a crowded beach. But last week, in a stuffy and crowded courtroom in the Bahamian capital of Nassau, the Gallaghers' world collapsed.
Three-quarters of the way through a two-week manslaughter trial against the boat's driver James Bain and its owners, Supreme Court Judge Elliot Lockhart abruptly dismissed the case against them. Negro indicted for attempted murder of off-duty female police officer stabbed 10 times  Ga. -- A Clarke County grand jury has indicted a man on an attempted murder charge and other felony counts in the stabbing of an off-duty police officer. According to the indictment, Steven Anthony Eberhart, 44, repeatedly stabbed Athens-Clarke County police Sgt. Courtney Gale and intended to murder her. Gale was working in uniform as a security guard at a Kroger grocery store on Dec. 11 when she was stabbed 10 times, including one cut that nearly severed her femoral artery. - (Newsroom) - (Black-on-white) |
Liberian migrant arrested for rape of his 9-year-old daughters PHOENIX -- A man on Minnesota's most-wanted list has been arrested here in Arizona. Robert Gaye made his initial appearance before a judge overnight. He has waived extradition and will be taken back to Minnesota. The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office said Gaye is accused sexually assaulting his 9-year-old daughters in 2006. According to the FBI, which made the arrest, Gaye was born in the West African nation of Liberia, and came to the U.S. in 2005. Black administrator of adult care facility arrested in death of vunerable White man  The license for the administrator of Southside Residential Care Facility was suspended after the he was arrested earlier this week. The South Carolina Board of Long Term Health Care Administrators voted to temporarily suspend the license after administrator Roy Bowers was arrested and charged with the neglect of a vulnerable adult resulting in death. Black boyfriend burns the skin off of his girlfriend's blonde baby boy   A 2-year-old child was severely burned and the child’s mother Christy Ely and her boyfriend were arrested and face charges in connection with the case, police said. Police said John Carter Jr., 33, placed the child is a scalding hot bathtub and they said they do not believe it was accidental because of the way the child was burned. Police said the boy is recovering from severe burns in a Pittsburgh hospital. “The lower leg, back of the legs, the little boys’ private area. It’s horrible. It’s just one of the worst things I’ve seen,” said Steubenville Police Chief Bill McCafferty. “Anybody who does this to a child. Black Arrested in Beating of Elderly White Female Funeral Home Owner  Memphis police arrested a man accused of robbing and beating a woman who owns a funeral home in Downtown Memphis. Alex House is charged with robbery, burglary and attempted first degree murder. According to investigators, House is accused of breaking into the Qualls Funeral Home early Thursday morning, April 24, 2008. Police say House beat 87 year-old Cenetta Qualls. Frank White, 33, took a wallet from 18-year-old Mississippi State University ROTC student Andrew Bow. Black fagz: Black state police officer arrested for sodomizing 14-year-old boy llinois State Police arrested one of their officers, Juan McCoy, 35. Prosecutors charged McCoy with two counts of second degree sodomy for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old boy. Chief Chambers said he received a tip about the alleged sex assault in early April. His detective reported it to the Illinois State Police. Chief Chambers said he had a long professional relationship with McCoy. Armed and dangerous "Pure Energy" black sought in child abuse case Police were looking for a man they believe physically abused a 6-year-old. Pure Energy, 35, was caring for his girlfriend's son on April 6 when the boy suffered a life-threatening head injury, police said. The boy was hospitalized in Chapel Hill but has since been released to the custody of relatives, police said. Energy was described as a black man, about 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 208 pounds. Police say that on April 7, officers arrested 50-year-old Keith A. Gross on 28 charges of second-degree unlawful sexual contact. Jabar gets 99 years for raping 3 young girls An Angelina County jury handed down the maximum punishment Friday to a Lufkin man convicted of sexually abusing three young girls. Jabar Smith Young, 23, received 99 years in prison on two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and 20 years in prison on three counts of indecency with a child by contact. The girls, one who is 10 years old and the other two who are 11-year-old twins, testified earlier this week that Young molested them on several occasions two years ago The girls used rag dolls to depict anal rape, among other forms of abuse, while testifying before jurors. - (Newsroom) |
| UK: Nigerian in dock for rape and murder A NIGERIAN national is due to stand trial this autumn for the rape and murder of a Belfast mother-of-one. Emmanuelle Alauya was charged last month with killing shop assistant Grace Moore in 2006. Her body was found in the kitchen of the Erris Grove hoem she shared with her daughter. After hearing the arguments, Mr Justice Hart said he was satisfied for Alauya to be charged with rape. Illegal Immigrant Charged In Rape Of Girl, 15 Ariz. -- An illegal immigrant has been arrested on suspicion of raping and kidnapping a 15-year-old girl at her Guadalupe home, Maricopa County sheriff's deputies said. The MCSO Special Victims Unit arrested Jose Dolores Montoya Sanchez, 24. Sanchez was booked into the Maricopa County jail late Wednesday on one count of sexual assault, one count of kidnapping and two counts sexual abuse. Sheriff's deputies said they began investigating the case when the victim disclosed that Sanchez sexually assaulted her at a Guadalupe home. - (Newsroom) - (Invasion!) |
Black ex-con confesses to stabbing 92-year-old White woman to death  CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A man with a long criminal history stands accused of murdering a 92-year-old woman in Charlotte. Gordon Franklin McMullen, 47, of Charlotte was back behind bars in the Mecklenburg County Jail Monday. He is accused of stabbing 92-year-old Mildred Clontz to death earlier this month. Police said he is not a stranger to crime and is a career criminal. He began committing crimes in 1980 at the age of 20, where he was charged with credit card theft. More criminal charges followed in 1982 for larceny and in 1983 for counterfeiting. Police said McMullen was busy in 1985, charged with speeding from police, larceny and more counterfeiting. In 1987, he graduated to armed robbery; he was convicted on three robbery charges and deemed a habitual felon. Last week, police charged McMullen with Clontz's murder.
