Yet another African migrant Nursing Home Employee Sentenced for Sex Attacks on Patients OLATHE, Kan. (AP) _ A former nursing home employee has been sentenced to nearly 19 years in prison for attacking two residents. Momodou Jallow of Lenexa Wednesday was sentenced for raping one resident and trying to rape another. A Johnson County District Court jury found the 28-year-old guilty in May of the attacks at the Indian Creek Nursing Home in Overland Park. A defense attorney says Jallow would be deported to his home country of Gambia upon his release. Jallow was accused of raping a 49-year-old stroke patient in 2005. - (Newsroom) - (crime) - (Invasion!) |
Dozen more accuse black aide with African name of elder abuse - acused of raping 85-year-old woman A dozen more people are alleging elder abuse by a nurse's aide who was accused Wednesday of raping a resident of a Salt Lake City long-term care facility. Some of the new allegations "sound serious; they're similar type crimes," said Salt Lake City police detective Jared Wihongi about Jacob Mut Bolith, a certified nurse's aide who is being held without bail in the Salt Lake County Jail. Most of the complaints stem from his employment at other nursing homes in Salt Lake County, specifically South Salt Lake and Holladay, Wihongi said. Bolith is accused of raping an 85-year-old woman living at Christus St. Joseph Villa on July 1, several weeks after losing his CNA license on charges of inappropriately touching a patient at Avalon Valley Rehabilitation Center last December. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |
Black Former Tacoma middle school principal convicted of rape A former Tacoma middle school principal was convicted of raping a woman at a party. Harold Wright Jr., 36, of Puyallup will be sentenced on August 31st. He faces six months to one year in jail. Wright was the principal of Baker Middle School until earlier this year, when he was put on administrative leave pending the outcome of the case. A woman accused him of raping her at an after-hours party on January 31st, 2004. The woman said she and two friends were at a bar where Wright, his brother and two other men invited them to one of their homes. She told investigators at least two of the men took her into a bathroom and took turns having sex work, but it was too dark for her to identify them. She was 19 at the time. DNA evidence linked Wright and another man, Ritchie D. Carter to the crime. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |

12-year-old White Ukrainian girl kidnapped, raped and murdered by Thai migrant perv Terapon Adhahn TACOMA, Wash. -- Twelve-year-old Zina Linnik had been sent down the alley behind her home to bring back some of her siblings, who had been watching neighbors set off July 4 fireworks, police say. Her father, Mikhail Linnik, heard her scream, found a single flip flop on the ground and saw a boxy gray van driving away. His denoscription of that van eventually led authorities to a man jailed this week on an immigration complaint -- and information from that man led them to the little girl's body. The family moved from Ukraine about 10 years ago; Zina was one of eight children. The denoscription of the gray van and part of its license plate, glimpsed by the girl's father, led them to Terapon Adhahn, 42, a Thai immigrant who was convicted of incest in 1990. A search of the home where Adhahn had been staying turned up "girl's undergarments," according to a search warrant return. Investigators and forensic experts from the FBI searched the home on Monday, seizing items including used vacuum cleaner filters, bedding, black plastic sheeting and the undergarments. Adhahn was later transferred to federal immigration detention in Tacoma because he could face deportation for his 1990 incest conviction, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman Lorie Dankers said earlier this week. But he also has been charged in Pierce County with failing to register as a sex offender, and would face that charge before being deported. - (Newsroom) - (Invasion!)

73-year-old White man offers black some water - gets beaten to death for his kindness The Louisiana man suspected of killing a Lubbock resident at his Southwest Lubbock home is now held on a $1-million bond. Alonzo Lewis, 25, is charged with capitol murder in the death of 73-year-old Don McCullough. Lubbock Police say the first time the two men met was most likely when McCullough offered Lewis a bottle of water Monday evening. Minutes later, Lewis returned to 8017 Vinton and allegedly attempted to steal something from the garage and attacked McCullough. A chilling 911 call from the victim's wife brought police to Southwest Lubbock, and later to a restaurant just a block away. Investigators credit a witness with giving them the tip they needed to find Lewis. That witness told police the man she saw had a Rosa's Cafe logo on his shirt. Police tell us without that tip; they may have still been searching for the suspect Tuesday night. 911 Operator: "9-1-1" Mrs. McCullough: "Yes, hi 8017 Vinton Avenue. A black man beat my husband up in the garage." - (Newsroom) - (crime) - (Black-on-white) |

Low-down black evangelist charged with homo rape of 14 or 15 year old boy An evangelist arrested in Atlanta earlier this week has been extradited to Alabama to face a sexual misconduct charge involving a teenage boy. Christopher Bennett, 30, the president and CEO of Chris Bennett Ministries, was arrested Wednesday in the Atlanta area and charged with second-degree sodomy, said Russell County Sheriff's Lt. Heath Taylor. The charge stems from a Russell County High student's claim that Bennett had inappropriately touched him in 2004 at Bennett's apartment when the boy was 14 or 15, Taylor said. Bennett, a traveling evangelist, is also described as presiding bishop of the Generation Impact Movement, according to the Web site www.kingdompeople.org. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |

Pistol-packing driver fires in Harrison Township * Woman Sentenced In Road Rage Case In what may have been an extreme example of road rage, Macomb County Sheriff's deputies say a commuter was so irked by a rush-hour driver Thursday that she pulled out a pistol and shot at the tires of a pickup truck that got too close. No one was hurt. Questioned by authorities after her arrest, Bernadette Headd's defense was short and sweet, Macomb County Sheriff Mark Hackel said. "She said she was tired of people tailgating her," he said. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |

(Black) grandson accused of slashing 79-year-old grandma's throat Gladys Milbourne's apartment was a testament to her faith. The shelves teemed with Bibles, and a plaque on the wall honored her ordination as a minister. But the Chester Towers apartment in which Milbourne celebrated her faith all too soon became her own shrine. On Monday, police, who were called to her residence for a well-being check, found Milbourne, 79, "sitting on the couch upright . . . in a state of decomposition," according to the affidavit. Her neck had been cut open with a kitchen knife, her chest was bruised and her gown bloodied, but the crime scene was "immaculate," said a police detective. Hours later, her 22-year-old grandson, Maurice Milbourne, was arrested and charged with murder after confessing to killing her. "He said she was meddling and it was her time to go," - (Newsroom) - (crime) |
