Cottage School teen charged with rape is 'undocumented' illegal Guatamala mestizo
MOUNT PLEASANT - A 15-year-old Pleasantville Cottage School resident charged with raping an 18-year-old female resident is a Guatemalan native with no known family ties in the United States who was found wandering the streets of New York City, police said. "He is apparently in this country with no documentation, no family, no nothing as far as we are able to determine at this time," police said. Luis Flores was arraigned today on a felony charge of first-degree rape. Police say he came up behind the 18-year-old victim as she was walking up the campus driveway and threatened to set her on fire with a lit cigarette lighter unless she went with him into the woods. She did and police say Flores forcibly raped her there and then let her go. Fanelli said Flores has been in trouble with police before but would not elaborate.
The school released the following statement: "We are distressed about this alleged unfortunate assault. We have notified the police and are cooperating fully with the investigation.   A 36-year-old man has been banned from a town centre and given other restrictions after magistrates issued him an anti-social behaviour order by magistrates. Medway magistrates decided that Sukhvender Singh Deo of Lester Road, Chatham, had acted in an anti-social manner and the ASBO was necessary to prevent further offences. Under the terms of the order, Mr Deo is not allowed to behave in a manner that is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, beg from members of the public, or enter Chatham town centre unless on public transport. Juan Rivera raped, stabbed and strangled 11-year-old White girl Holly Staker
Holly Staker, 11, had been raped, stabbed and strangled to death on Aug. 17, 1992 in an apartment in the 440 block of north Hickory Street on Waukegan's north side. Juan Rivera was twice convicted and sentenced to life in prison. Juan Rivera was in the basement of a Waukegan two-flat, butcher knife in hand, pursuing the little blonde girl, Holly Staker, according to a North Shore Gas Co. service technician.
