Black arrested for murder of White teen   Ernest Whitaker, 13, was in a car with his family when they pulled into an apartment complex just before 9 p.m. on March 18.
As the boy's mother stopped the car, three men approached and demanded money, jewelry and the car.

Sex predator wants to return home * Sex Offender's Move Angers Redwood City Police The sexually violent predator who took up residence in Redwood City this week has no idea why he was transferred to San Mateo County and where he’ll be going next. He’s not the only one questioning his transfer and awaiting overdue answers. And he wants to go home. The state Board of Corrections and Parole moved Thomas Earl Putney, 36, from Sonoma County to Redwood City without properly notifying local authorities. Suspect in rape of 14-year-old girl turns himself in A man being sought on sex charges has turned himself in to Carlisle Borough police. Corey Cramer, 33, of Carlisle, was wanted on 26 charges related to his alleged contact with a 14-year-old girl. Police allege he raped her at least four times. Police questioned the girl after receiving a call from Harrisburg Hospital's emergency room at 1 p.m. Thursday. The teen alleges Cramer raped her four times in a Carlisle residence starting in 2003, when she was 12. |
Second Bust in Fake 911 Rape Hoax A second suspect in a hoax that sent a SWAT team to a New Jersey house in fear that a girl was being raped by an armed kidnapper was arrested yesterday in Connecticut, police said. Wadu Jackson, 20, was busted early yesterday on a fugitive warrant, in Hartford. He and Fatin Ann Ward (pictured) face charges stemming from Tuesday's prank call that led to a massive armed response in the around Rutgers University in New Brunswick. Charge Added Against Morales in brutal kidnap-rape-burn case  One of the two men charged in the brutal attack on a Brown County woman is facing another criminal charge. The Brown County district attorney filed an additional charge of second-degree sexual assault of an unconscious victim against Gregorio Morales.The charge stems from the August 2003 attack when a woman was kidnapped outside a Green Bay nightclub and sexually assaulted in a rural Brown County field before being set on fire. Woman tells jurors he bedded her at 16  A charismatic Queens preacher went on trial yesterday accused of seducing an underaged church member he allegedly sweet-talked into a bed full of stuffed animals."He would say that the priest should sleep with the virgin and that's okay to do this because he loved me," the alleged victim, now 21, told jurors in a hushed courtroom yesterday. Bishop William Waynes, founder and pastor of the New Beginning Outreach Love Center, is charged with statutory rape, a crime that carries a prison term of up to four years. Prosecutors say Waynes, 47, who holds a second job as a staffer at Fox Channel 5, began molesting the girl when she was 15 - and bedded her just after her Sweet 16 party in 2000. - (The Bobster)
