 Columbia, SC -- Quincy Allen pleaded guilty to killing two people in South Carolina and two others in North Carolina was sentenced to death Fridayto the shooting deaths of Jedediah Harr, 22, and Dale Evonne Hall, 45, in Columbia. Those killings were part of a monthlong crime spree that also left two people dead in North Carolina. Allen was serving life in prison for those crimes. Former Pastor Will Appeal His Own Plea On Sex Charges JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A former pastor Friday pleaded no contest to having sex with a teenage girl and was sentenced to six months in jail, three years of probation and must register as a sex offender. Alexie Kelly was pastor of the Little Rock Baptist Church on Dec. 31, 2003, when
he was charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious battery on a 13-year-old

Doctor charged with money laundering A Clarksville doctor charged with scheming to defraud several health insurance plans faces an additional federal charge of money laundering. The U.S. Attorney's Office in Nashville announced the new charge against Dr. Samson Orusa in a press release Friday. A new 17-count indictment was issued Thursday by a federal grand jury in Nashville. The indictment claims that Orusa, 42, "knowingly transferred proceeds to Echodoctors of America and Sound Solutions Inc. to promote the federal health care offense of billing health care benefit programs for unnecessary Echocardiograms/ Dopplers..." - (Tyrone N. Black lesbian - member of D.C. mayor's cabinet found murdered - suspect arrested  Washington (AP) - A neighbor accused of murdering a member of the mayor's cabinet was ordered held without bond Friday by a judge concerned about man's admitted drug use. William M. Parrot, Jr., 38, appeared in District of Columbia Superior Court on a charge of first-degree murder in the death of Wanda R. Sports: Soccer playing migrant from Ghana broke into women's apartments around campus, crawled in bed with them...  Arnold Adjetey broke into women’s apartments, then crawled into bed with the students while they slept. Adjetey broke into the unlocked apartments of 18 women in the area surrounding James Madison University. Once inside, the former Bridgewater College soccer player attempted to lie in bed next to the women and touch them. | Sports: former quarterback Rashade Coleman had pleaded guilty to criminal sexual conduct (rape) and burglary in the dorm-room attack at the St. Paul school in October 2003. Ramsey County District Judge Edward Cleary said Coleman must serve at least 10 years and 10 months of the sentence before he is eligible for release. Coleman also faces a June 7 trial in Dakota County on charges that he broke into a West St. Paul house and raped a woman in front of her 4-year-old son last June. He was charged as an adult in both rape cases. He acknowledged he has a problem with drugs and sexually deviant behavior. Ex-boyfriend charged in murder mutilation of 'exotic dancer' - police find body in shallow grave with missing fingers   Police found the body of Emily Cagal, 24, in a shallow grave. Some of Cagal's fingers were missing, which could indicate she was tortured before her death. Police arrested Antoine Gatewood, Cagal's former boyfriend and bodyguard, along
with his roommate, Dion Desir, last Friday. Investigators believe Gatewood
killed Cagal inside her apartment and then disposed of her body with help from

Cabbie accused of raping mentally disabled woman then making her pay for his dinner A Yellow Cab driver has been charged with sexually assaulting a fare, then forcing her to pay for dinner afterwards.
The driver, Gerald Toussaint, is being held on a sexual battery of a mentally disabled woman charge. The cabbie is accused of picking up the 41-year-old mentally disabled woman as a
fare then insisting she go dinner with him. When she finally
agreed the taxi driver allegedly took her to his house and
sexually battered her. Then, the suspect took the woman to a Chinese restaurant and made her pick up the tab. - (Rasp) |
Son "accidentally" shot mailman in the back with his mothers illegal gun  Latoya Burnette, a woman whose 9-year-old son fired a pistol from his bedroom window and 'accidentally' killed Clayton Smith, a White postal worker pleaded guilty Monday to illegally owning a gun and lying to federal authorities. Smith was shot in the back on June 23, 2003, while he was taking a break and sorting mail in the parking lot of a suburban Pittsburgh shopping center, less than 100 feet from the apartment complex in Crafton where Burnette was living. Arizona: Victim identifies assault suspect Raul Lujan Someone named Raul had been loitering around a high-end apartment complex. A few hours later he allegedly kidnapped, sexually assaulted and robbed a woman at a dental office.
The victim singled out his image from a photo lineup. It was Raul Lujan. Lujan approached a 35-year-old woman as she reported for work at Red
Rock Family Dentistry. He claimed to have a gun and forced
her inside the business, where she was sexually assaulted and robbed. The woman
