Lawmen arrest (black) Polk Co. suspect in murder of White woman  The Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man suspected of killing a Polk County woman in December. Cordell Renard Green, 22, is charged with murder. Green was located Sunday night and arrested. Green is charged in connection to the death of Heather Dorris, 25. Green has a violent past, including charges of armed robbery. Green confessed to witnesses that he killed Dorris by shooting her numerous times and witnesses saw Green get into Dorris' vehicle the morning of her death. - (Newsroom) - (Black-on-white) |
(Black) Man accused of leaving his wallet behind after an attempted rape and robbery turns down plea deal  The man police say left his wallet behind when he tried to rob and rape a woman, stood before a Kent County Circuit Court judge and sobbed as he turned down a plea deal. Dewitt Lee Vinson is accused of home invasion and assault with intent to commit sexual penetration following an alleged Sept. 8 assault in the 400 block of Leonard Street NE. The female he is accused of attacking fended him off in the early morning incident, police said. (Black) Man found guilty of murder, rape of elderly Akron woman An Akron man accused of raping and killing an elderly woman was found guilty. A jury found Devon Owens, 38, guilty of aggravated murder, with the specification that makes him eligible for the death penalty. Owens was also found guilty of two counts of rape and one count of aggravated burglary. In May, family members forced their way into 73-year-old Clara Virginia Wilfong’s Akron apartment when after she didn’t answer the door. Police said her family found her unresponsive in bed and Owens, who was partially clothed, was fleeing out the window. - (Newsroom) - (Black rapes) |
(Black) Man on parole charged with rape and burglary  A Cincinnati man who was on parole for a rape charge that occurred over 20 years ago was arrested for the same crime on Saturday. 52-year-old Terry Austin was arrested and charged with Rape, Burglary and Possession of Drugs. Austin entered the residence of the victimand threatened to hit the victim with a baseball bat if she did not have sex with him. The victim refused and Austin struck her and sexually assaulted the victim. When Terry Austin was arrested for the crime, police found a bag of crack in his pocket. - (Newsroom) - (Black rapes) |
Ireland: Jury finds (foreign black) man guilty of rape and sexual assault A (black) man has been convicted of raping a young woman in a Dublin apartment after a night out almost two years ago. John Noghayin (29), Cabra Park, Dublin, had pleaded not guilty at the Central Criminal Court to rape and sexual assault in May last year. The now 22-year-old victim said that she met Noghayin at a restaurant after the club and accepted a lift home from his group. She then agreed to a suggestion to go for a drink and arrived at an apartment. The woman said there were three men present and they spoke in a foreign language until two left and she was alone with the man. She was pushed on to the apartment bed by Noghayin and sexually assaulted when she rolled on to the floor. (Black) Dagsboro sex offender charged with rape of teen A teen girl was visiting a friend who lived at a Bunting Road home in Dagsboro on Wednesday when 53 year old Leroy Satchell of Dagsboro, who was visiting another resident of the home, began making inappropriate contact with the victim. Satchell, who is a Tier 2 sex offender, is charged with first degree rape and other sexual offenses and is being held at SCI in default of $150,000 secured bond. - (Newsroom) - (Black rapes) |
2nd woman testifies that (black) NOPD officer accused of rape implied he'd let her go for sex A 50-year-old New Orleans woman testified Friday that a New Orleans police officer on trial for rape and kidnapping arrested her and insinuated that she could barter sex for freedom. The woman -- who is not the victim of the alleged rape -- said that Officer Henry Hollins arrested her in May 2009 on a municipal attachment for traffic violations. Black found guilty of murdering White social worker  Markeece Mosley has been found guilty of second degree murder. A Caddo Parish jury convicted Mosley of second degree murder for shooting and killing his boss, Yvonne Lee, while she was taking him home in February 2010.  A New Orleans pizza delivery man is still having trouble seeing after a robber threw bleach in his eyes last week in an effort to steal a pie he ordered. That's the scene a police report paints of the events that led to the arrest of Terrence "Baby Tee" Alexis. The Domino's Pizza delivery man knocked on the door when unexpectedly, Alexis allegedly splashed a cup of bleach into the delivery man's eyes, blinding him, and stole the pizza. The delivery man ran back to his car. "You know you're not supposed to be back here, white boy!" Alexis allegedly yelled as the man pulled away. - (Newsroom) - (Black-on-white) |
Huntsville (black) man accused of raping a 17-year-old girl Darren Smith was arrested Thursday after being accused of raping a 17-year-old girl, police said. The girl told police she was changing clothes in a bedroom of a home in the 2400 block of Vining Avenue around 1:30 a.m. when a man came in the room and tried to rape her. While trying to fight the man off, a friend came in the room and the 17-year-old was able to get away, police said. - (Newsroom) - (Black rapes) |

(Black) Man gets life for raping, murdering White woman  TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - A drifter has been sentenced to life in prison for raping and murdering a 71-year-old Tampa woman. A Hillsborough County judge sentenced 47-year-old Michael Lord Owens Friday after Owens pleaded guilty to first-degree murder. Prosecutors were planning to seek the death penalty if the case went to trial. Dorothy Mink was found dead at her South Tampa home, covered in blood, in September 2003. Just before Christmas in 2007, police arrested Owens. Investigators had found his fingerprints on a bottle of cheap wine and his DNA on Mink's body. - (Newsroom) - (Black-on-white) |
(Black) Man Faces Charges for Robbery, Kidnapping and Sexual Assault in Two Separate Attacks Marquon Green 21, of Jackson, has been arrested and charged with two separate attacks. The first incident occurred Saturday. A 20-year-old woman told police that around 11 a.m. she was getting into her vehicle parked on the campus of Lane College when a black male, armed with a handgun, approached her and demanded her purse. He took the purse and made her get inside her car. He then robbed her of her cellular phone and left running. On Monday around 11:20 a.m., a different 20-year-old woman was sitting in her car on the parking lot of St. Paul C.M.E. Church on Middleton Street. A black male suddenly entered her car through the front passenger’s door, pulled out a handgun and demanded her purse. She then followed his directions as he made her drive to an apartment complex at 112 Rhone Street. (Black) Man charged in Waseca stabbing A Minneapolis man has been charged with felony second degree assault with a dangerous weapon after he allegedly stabbed another man earlier this month. Zachary Rendell Barr, 24, faces a maximum penalty of seven years imprisonment and a $14,000 fine if convicted. Just after 12:30 a.m. on Feb. 4, Waseca Police were dispatched on reports of a disturbance and someone being stabbed. When officers arrived they met with two men, one of which had their shirt off and was bleeding from several locations. According to the complaint, the victim told law enforcement that he was stabbed by a black male, but did not know his name or why this happened. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |
Martin Delany, 'Father of Black Nationalism' argued that African-Americans should emigrate to Central or South America, later to Africa Delany, for much of his life, championed emigration of blacks as a way of achieving equality, first to Central or South America, and later to Africa. "Delany argued that blacks should leave because in order to achieve their rights, they had to form a majority in society." That's not a message that resonates with most white Americans or even many black Americans. And anybody like Martin Delany, one of whose dominant themes is 'To hell with this place, I want out; it's not heaven, it's hell,' doesn't fit that paradigm and people don't like to hear it. |

Authorities search for (black) Dinwiddie man considered dangerous Authorities are searching for Brandon L. Pegram, 22, who has several warrants for his arrest, including felony strong armed robbery, threatening to burn a structure and misdemeanor domestic assault and assault. Police said Pegram, who may be heading to Richmond, is considered dangerous. Pegram is described as a black male, 6 feet 2 inches, 180 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Pegram may be traveling in a light green Ford Taurus. The Taurus is a Dinwiddie County vehicle with public use license plates and C23 on the left bumper. - (Newsroom) |
(Black) Oklahoma State basketballer charged with rape 21-year-old Darrell Williams was charged with three felony counts of rape and one felony count of sexual battery. Williams appeared in the Payne County Courthouse Monday afternoon. In a show of support, members of the OSU Basketball team stood outside the courtroom. Arizona (black) man accused of raping Lower Paxton girl while staying at her home A Megan's Law fugitive from Arizona is accused of raping a 12-year-old Lower Paxton Township girl from August to December. King Samuel Williams, 40, had sex with the girl numerous times at her apartment while he was a guest there, police said. He was arrested last week in Tucson, Ariz. Williams is wanted in California for a parole violation. (Black) Florida resident charged in 1972 slaying ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) -- A 76-year-old Florida resident has been charged with bludgeoning to death a blind woman in upstate New York 37 years ago.
Authorities in Rochester said that Willie James Kimbel, a convicted sex offender in Sarasota, Fla., is expected to be extradited to New York. (Black) Sexual assault suspect held on $500,000 bond  A judge raised the bond for Carl Walden who prosecutors said may have sexually assaulted three teens. On Jan. 15, a 14-year-old girl told police a man forced her into his vehicle, threatening her with a handgun on Freedom Drive. The girl said the man touched her before she was able to get out of the vehicle and run away, according to a police report. (Black) Marine accused in B'klyn officer torture-murder case yanked for psych eval after court urination  One of the Marines accused of torturing and murdering their Brooklyn-raised commanding officer and his wife was having his head examined Friday after he suddenly began urinating during his court hearing. Kesuan Sykes, whose nickname is "Psycho," was in the midst of a pre-trial hearing when he stood up and began flinging urine around a California courtroom. Court officers pounced on the shackled suspect, and the judge ordered Sykes to undergo a mental evaluation after the disgusting display, which happened last Friday. Sykes, 23, is believed to be the most disturbed of the four Marines charged with the brutal murders of Sgt. Jan Pawel Pietrzak and his wife, Quiana. Sykes allegedly joked about sodomizing Quiana Pietrzak with a sex toy - in front of her hog-tied husband - and made "buzzing sounds," a detective has testified. Pietrzak, 24, a Polish immigrant who grew up in Bensonhurst, and his 26-year-old wife were killed after the intruders burst into their Riverside County home. Tyrone Miller and Kevin Cox, both 23, and 21-year-old Emrys John are also charged with murdering the newlyweds during the robbery. (Black) Janitor's death sentence upheld in murder-rape of Rio Linda High School senior   The California Supreme Court on Thursday upheld the convictions and death sentence of Alex Dale Thomas, the janitor found guilty more than 10 years ago of raping and murdering Michelle Montoya on the campus of Rio Linda High School, where she was an 18-year-old senior. "The evidence that defendant had sexual intercourse with the victim and then killed her was overwhelming, so much so that defendant did not dispute either fact," Justice Carlos R. Beastiality: Negro rapes female hogs and gives them vaginal infection Authorities said a man who was caught having sex with show hogs will have his case presented to the Grand Jury next month. Andrew Lee Nash, 52, was arrested on Dec. 3, 2010 after police set up surveillance cameras in the owner's stalls near U.S. Highway 82 and the Yazoo River. Greenwood Police Chief Henry Purnell said the hogs were examined by a local veterinarian, during a routine examination, and the owner was told that four of the hogs had a vaginal infection. "The owner of the animals knew someone was messing with his animals," said Chief Investigator Huntley Nevels. "And the veterinarian confirmed the sexual assault. (Black) man named 'Whyte' who murdered the White Rutgers student mother of his child gets life in prison  Troy Whye, 39, will have to live until he is 104 years old before he could be eligible for parole. The Judge sentenced him to a life term, the equivalent of 75 years, for killing Krystal Skinner, a 23-year-old Rutgers Camden student and mother who Whye stabbed to death in March 2008. Whye was convicted by a jury in November 2010 of murder, endangering the welfare of a child and numerous weapons offenses in connection with the death. Skinner was trying to end her relationship with Whye. In March 2008, he followed through on years of threats and stabbed Skinner approximately 30 times in the hallway of her home. Their 2-year-old son, John, was present at the time of the killing and was left with the body of his mother. Georgia executes (black) man convicted of murder and rape of White woman   Georgia executed by lethal injection late on Tuesday a convicted rapist and murderer who abducted a preschool teacher after her car ran out of gas and shot her in the head. Emmanuel Hammond, 45, died at central Georgia's Diagnostic and Classification Prison at 11:39 p.m. local time, according to a prisons spokeswoman. Julie Love, 27, was engaged to be married at the time of her death in 1988. Hammond abducted her in Atlanta after her car ran out of fuel at night. He first tried to strangle her and then shot her with a sawed-off shotgun, according to court testimony. Black woman arrested for kidnap, murder and burning of body of 12-year-old White boy  Police say a 44-year-old woman charged with capital murder in the kidnapping and death of a 12-year-old Houston boy admitted to discarding a body, but said she didn’t kill the child. Mona Yvette Nelson, a maintenance worker for several area apartment complexes, was arrested and charged on Wednesday. Investigators believe she kidnapped, killed and burned the body of Jonathan Foster on Christmas Eve. Foster had been left alone at his mother’s apartment while she and her roommate worked that day.
