(Black) Yonkers man gets life behind bars in laundromat rape/murder WHITE PLAINS – A 32-year-old Yonkers man is going to spend the rest of his life in prison without the possibility of parole for raping and killing an employee at a Yonkers laundromat and raping two other women. Walter Maddox was convicted in a jury trial of killing Roberta Galicia on December 8, 2008 inside the laundromat. He was also found guilty of strangling and raping a woman on June 30, 2008 in a secluded area of O’Boyle Park in Yonkers and of raping and choking another woman on August 31, 2008, in an apartment just a few feet from the same park. - (Newsroom) |
(Black) Teen accused of school rape also charged with threatening his mom with a knife The 19-year-old accused of raping a young girl in the hallways of Grand Rapids Central High School also stands accused of threatening his mother with a knife. On the rape charge, Randy Mayfield Curry-Howard on Thursday faces a probable cause hearing in Grand Rapids District Court. A judge will decide if there is enough evidence to send him to trial on charges of using force against a child to commit two counts each of first- and third-degree criminal sexual conduct on May 15. (Black) Mother And Nephew Involved In An Incestuous Relationship Charged With Daughter's Rape And Murder  Dawn Ward, a 47-year-old North Carolina woman, was arrested Wednesday on murder and incest charges after her daughter was found raped and murdered last month. According to the Lexington Sheriff's office, Ward was arrested in connection to the rape and murder of her 23-year-old daughter Brittani Ward. Derek Ward, who is the victim's cousin was arrested late last month for the rape and murder of Brittani Ward after she was found dead inside the apartment she shared with the two suspects. Police say the incest charge is in regard to Dawn Ward's relationship with her nephew, Derek Ward. Brittani Ward's body was discovered inside the apartment May 5 after police were contacted by extended family member who shared information with them about the case. - (Newsroom) |

16-year-old White Boy Beaten In Sickening Racial Attack  SEATTLE – Seattle Police are investigating to determine if an attack on a 16-year-old West Seattle boy was racially motivated. Shane McClellan's father says his son was walking home from a friend's house Tuesday around 2 a.m. when he was approached by two men - one black and one Asian. Asking him first for a light, they then attacked him, kicking and hitting him and threatening him with a gun, said McClellan. "They started punching, knocked him down, kicking him, robbed him of everything, stole his coat, shoved him to the ground, stuck a gun in the back of his head," described McClellan. "I can't tell you what it's like to see and not even be able to recognize your son." McClellan says they also burned the back of Shane's neck with cigarette butts before taking out a belt and making the racially-charged comments. "When they were beating with the belt [they said] that they hated white people, and that's what the whipping was for," said McClellan. Police report describes brutal attack on Palo Alto woman by black male Blindfolded, battered and terrified, the young woman thought she was going to die. She had been beaten and tied up in Palo Alto, then driven in her own car to a deserted Santa Clara schoolyard where she was beaten again and then raped. The woman, whose dress had been torn off during the attack, ran in the opposite direction and flagged down a passer-by, who called 911. The suspect in the case, 36-year-old Lionel Blanks of Santa Clara, was arraigned in court. Blanks is facing numerous felony charges, including rape, penetration with a foreign object, attempted murder, carjacking, robbery and making terrorist threats. LT's Alleged Pimp Charged with Sex Trafficking - (Originally posted May 20th 2010)  The alleged pimp suspected of bringing a 16-year-old girl to Lawrence Taylor's motel room earlier this month has been formally charged with sex trafficking. TMZ has learned a federal grand jury has indicted Rasheed Davis (seen right) for allegedly transporting an underage girl across state lines for the purpose of prostitution. The indictment, filed in federal court in New York, alleges that Davis used "force, threats of force and coercion to compel [the alleged victim] to engage in a commercial sex act with another person for a fee of $300, which was ultimately paid to Davis." As we previously reported, Lawrence Taylor has been charged with paying the 16-year-old girl $300 -- though the football legend denies he had sex with the girl. - (Newsroom) - (Sports) |

Accused black student impostor now facing sex charge DALLAS -- A 22-year-old man accused of posing as a high school basketball star in West Texas was charged with sexual assault Friday after an underage girl reported having sex with him last summer when she thought he was a teenager, police said. Guerdwich Montimer was arrested for the third time in four days, this time after a 16-year-old girl in Odessa told police and school district officials she had sex with him at a home in August when she thought he was 15-year-old Jerry Joseph. - (Newsroom) |

Missing White 73-year-old man's body found - granddaughter's black boyfriend charged with murder  The disappearance of local resident Louis Berger Jr., came to a tragic resolution Friday as authorities revealed that his body was located and that his granddaughter’s black boyfriend was charged with his murder. Richard H. Still, 24, of Delanco was arrested Friday morning on a first-degree murder charge following the discovery of Berger’s body the previous night in a shallow grave behind a home on Hartford Road in Mount Laurel. He is being held in Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly on $1 million bail and is due to appear in Superior Court later this afternoon for a first appearance. Black confessed to beating and killing of elderly White man McNamara, 76, with a bat  A judge has set a bond of $1 million on a suspect charged with capital murder in the death of insurance company owner Mickey McNamara in Orange. Joseph Edward Roberts Jr., 21, was arraigned Sunday in the Orange County Jail and bond was set at that time. Police say Roberts has confessed to beating and killing McNamara, 76, with a bat, and using a bat to injure his niece, Joyce Cross, during a robbery Wednesday, April 21, at McNamara Insurance. Black Sentenced To Life: 'He Took The Entire Town Hostage' - (including elderly White couple)   The man who went on crime spree through Leesburg last July, eventually holding two families hostage, will likely never see the outside of a prison cell after Circuit Court Judge Burke McCahill today sentenced him to two life sentences plus 58 years for his crimes. William Spencer was charged with two counts of robbery; one count of attempted robbery; three counts of abduction; one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; and three counts of the use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Chicago black charged with raping, beating 74-year-old Elgin woman A Chicago man was being held on $850,000 bond on allegations he forced his way into a 74-year-old Elgin woman's apartment and raped and beat her. Rodney L. McGowan, 42, of the 1000 block of North Monticello Avenue, was charged with two counts of home invasion, three counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault, one count of criminal sexual assault and one count of aggravated battery to a senior citizen, authorities said. Police were called to the woman's apartment at 12:05 a.m. last Friday on accusations that McGowan broke into her apartment while she was sleeping, punched her several times in the face and raped her, police said. - (Newsroom) |
Cops say black mugger stole meal from disabled woman  A hungry mugger stole breakfast from a disabled woman on the South Side on Saturday morning, prosecutors say. Charles Johnson, 35, snatched a slice of pizza from the 21-year-old victim, who suffers from cerebral palsy. A wrong-way driver killed Meadows and injured her friend on Interstate 5 in March 2005. Ngere Omari was sentenced to 6 years for vehicular homicide and assault. On Tuesday, Omari was released from prison, to the outrage of Meadows' family. Black rape suspect arrested at adult care facility A man wanted for the kidnapping and rape of a Salisbury woman has been arrested. Salisbury Police arrested Robert Theodore Gibson, 55, early Friday. He was found in Conover, near Hickory, staying at an adult care facility. He was jailed in the Rowan County Detention Center on charges of kidnapping, first-degree rape and first-degree sex offense. His bond is set at $75,000. On Thursday, police asked for the public's help in locating Gibson, who was believed to live on the streets. Chief Rory Collins said Gibson was arrested as a result of the assistance of the media. Conover Police received a tip that Gibson was at the Austin Adult Care Center. - (Newsroom) |

King County Prosecutor Dan Satterberg announced that his office will not seek Isaiah Kalebu's execution because of the man's history of mental illness. Black asks judge for bathroom break, escapes from rape trial The rape trial of John Jerome Speights Jr., accused of fathering a child with a 13-year-old relative, lasted merely a day. But even that proved too long for Speights to hang around for the verdict. During a morning break Wednesday, Speights said he was going to the bathroom, said Mark Cox, spokesman for the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office. Pleads Guilty to Raping University of Memphis Student One of three men charged in the abduction, beating and rape involving two University of Memphis students pleaded guilty to the crimes Thursday. 18-year old James Hamilton pleaded guilty to six felonies in 2008 case. Hamilton said he and two other men kidnapped a young man and woman from the Stratum Apartments on Highland and drove them to a remote location, then raped the woman and shot the man when he tried to help. - (Newsroom) |
