Mother's (Black) Boyfriend Charged With Infant's Death Police have made an arrest in the death of a Liberty City infant. Watson Dorval, 24, has been charged with second-degree murder. Dorval was reportedly watching his girlfriend's children at the time of the incident. The 7-month-old infant and another child were rushed to the hospital Tuesday, but the infant died on the way. According to the medical examiner, the baby died of blunt trauma injuries due to being struck multiple times. - (Newsroom) |
(Black) Home Invasion Suspect Sentenced to 80 Years in Prison * Two Arrested In Home Invasion  A man accused of beating and robbing a 73-year-old disabled man was sentenced to 80 years in prison Thursday. The victim, George Harlan, said he was overwhelmed with emotion while sitting in the courtroom, only feet away from his attacker. "I was angry," Harlan said. "Angry, angry, angry. The attorney had to keep me from losing it." The suspect, 23-year-old Joe Lewis Landrum and a female accomplice, broke into the elderly man's home in February, according to police. - (Newsroom) |
Police Search For (Black) Man Who Tried To Abduct 12-Year-Old Girl Police in Miami-Dade County are searching for a man who tried to abduct a 12-year-old girl. The attempted armed abduction happened on Thursday at about 8 a.m. near Southwest 288th Street and 152nd Avenue. The wanted man is described as being between 25 and 32 years old with a muscular build, brown eyes, black hair and gold teeth. The man has three moles on his right ear, a tattoo in old English lettering on his left forearm and light discoloration on his right arm, police said, and he was wearing a gold chain with a Jesus charm. - (Newsroom) |

Black killer grilled dismembered ex-girlfriend A 28-year-old man was convicted on Thursday of killing his ex-girlfriend, whose dismembered remains were later burned on two outdoor grills. Jurors deliberated for four hours before convicting Timothy Wayne Shepherd of murder in the death of 19-year-old Tynesha Stewart, a Texas A&M University student who was killed in March 2007. Shepherd, who faces a possible sentence of life in prison, showed no emotion when the verdict was announced. Stewart's family broke down in tears. Police have said that Shepherd confessed to choking Stewart, dismembering her and burning the remains on the grills. According to court records, police recovered 30 pieces of charred bone and hair from Shepherd's apartment. - (Newsroom) |

Many people are now asking why a man with a 12-year-long history with police was not behind bars.“I’m looking at this court system. What are they doing? Black Charged In Haines City Rape Case Released On Bail A man wanted by police in a Haines City rape case turned himself in Tuesday and was released today on bail. Hazell Stoudemire Jr., a registered sex offender, turned himself in at the Polk County Jail, Capt. Mervin Stewart said. He was charged with sexual battery, kidnapping and aggravated assault, all felonies, and battery, a misdemeanor. Police say Stoudemire sexually battered the woman in her home Saturday, then kidnapped her and took her to his residence at 2110 Mallory Circle, where she was assaulted and sexually battered again. - (Newsroom) |

(Black) Driver in Calif. crash had history of offenses, substance abuse  Quintin J. Watts, the driver of the casino-bound bus that crashed and killed eight people Sunday night, had a series of traffic citations in recent years and was working on his first day as a bus driver. Watts, 52, is in critical condition at a Woodland hospital and has been arrested and charged with driving under the influence, the California Highway Patrol said. State driving records indicate Watts had a valid driver's license but had received six traffic citations in 2005 and 2006. - (Newsroom) |

Woman, 67, Sexually Assaulted by Black Fiend While Entering Home  NEW YORK -- Police have arrested a man in connection with a sex assault in Brooklyn over the weekend. Police say 31-year-old Robert Gibbs came up behind a 67-year-old woman as she was walking into the Tompkins Houses in East Flatbush Saturday afternoon and forced his way into the home. Jury Convicts Jailed Negro in Infamous Texas KFC Murders  BRYAN, Texas — A convicted robber already serving a life prison term for perjury was convicted of capital murder Tuesday for the fatal shootings of five people abducted from an East Texas Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant 25 years ago. Darnell Hartsfield, 47, of Tyler, was found guilty on all five counts. He stood between his attorneys and had no visible reaction to the verdicts. He received an automatic life sentence after prosecutors chose not to seek the death penalty. The notorious killings, one of the longest unresolved mass murder cases in Texas, occurred the night of Sept. 23, 1983, when the five victims were taken from the KFC store in Kilgore during an apparent robbery. They were driven about 15 miles to a remote oilfield road and fatally shot. Their bodies were found the next morning. The murder victims were David Maxwell, 20; Mary Tyler, 37; Opie Ann Hughes, 39; Joey Johnson, 20; and Monte Landers, 19. All but Landers worked at the restaurant about 25 miles east of Tyler and 115 miles east of Dallas. Giddings was 10 years old. During the next seven years, Giddings was continuously in and out of juvenile institutions, where he was charged several times with assaulting staff, sending some to the hospital, according to court records.Details Released In Murder Of White Philadelphia Officer by feral black  Police said 30-year-old Officer Patrick McDonald was on a solo patrol when he pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation. A female driver and 27-year-old Daniel Giddings were inside of the vehicle, Captain James Clark said. When asked for his name, Clark said Giddings provided McDonald with a false identity. The suspect fled on foot when the officer asked him to exit the vehicle. Officer McDonald, an eight-year veteran of the force, called for backup and began pursuit of the suspect, catching up to him on the 2200 block of Colorado Street. During a physical altercation, Clark said Giddings pulled out a .45 caliber handgun and shot Officer McDonald several times. While the officer was on the ground, Giddings stood over him and fired several more rounds, police said. "This was clearly an assassination," Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey said. Officer McDonald was rushed to Temple University Hospital in a police cruiser and was pronounced dead at 2:08 p.m.  Giddings took a bike found on the street and fled the scene, but was quickly confronted by three responding highway patrol officers. Police said Giddings threw the bike at one officer and then exchanged gunfire with 35-year-old Officer Richard Bowes.
