Black Fast Food Worker Jailed for Serving Salty Burger that made Police Officer Sick  UNION CITY, Ga. (FOX 5) -- A fast food worker was arrested for serving a salty hamburger to a police officer. The woman was charged with reckless conduct.
Kendra Bull, an employee at the Union City, Ga. McDonald's resturant, says it was an accident. She was mixing the meat for hamburgers and accidently added too much salt and pepper. The police officer Wendell Adams says it made him sick and was brought to the hospital.
In the police report on the incident the officer says that he thought the salt and pepper were poured on the hamburger on purpose. - (Newsroom) |

Violent Black felon sentenced to 16 years to life in prison for rape A violent felon who raped and robbed a Rochester woman is heading back to prison once again. Anthony Colbert apologized in court Thursday, right before judge John Ark sentenced him to 16 years to life. Colbert pleaded guilty in May to a 15-count indictment. Rochester police say he attacked the woman when she pulled into her driveway on Cedarwood Terrace. Colbert has spent more than two decades in prison for other crimes. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |

HOUSTON -- A man was arrested Friday, accused of attacking, raping and robbing a pregnant teenager in her northwest Houston home.
CHICAGO -- A Cook County judge on Thursday found a homeless woman unfit to stand trial for allegedly starting a fire inside a Wrigleyville apartment building that killed four people in March. The Judge remanded Mary Smith to a mental facility ward in an attempt to restore her mental health so she may one day be able to stand trial. Earlier this year, Smith pleaded not guilty to 12 counts of murder and nine counts of arson. Smith is accused of setting a fire in an interior stairwell - Smith said she lost her shoes that night and her feet were cold. A witness who described seeing Smith in the building vestibule prior to the blaze had given the 44-year-old woman a dollar bill. Smith lit the fire with a dollar bill, according to prosecutors, but it was not clear if it was the same bill. She fled the building as the fire moved rapidly up the stairs.
