"Hispanic" Gang-Rape suspect Eleazar Renteria pleads guilty
Eleazar Renteria, the second of two men charged in the 2006 rape of a 14-year-old girl pleaded guilty to a lesser charge Friday. Renteria was arrested in July 2006 after the victim identified him as one of two men who raped her at a party in a home in the 10700 block of East 166th Street in Noblesville. Miguel Gutierrez is already serving a 10-year sentence for the crime. An illegal alien from Mexico, Gutierrez will be deported after his release.

Jorge Alberto Zelaya Accused Of Raping, Robbing Pregnant Teenager
HOUSTON -- A man was arrested Friday, accused of attacking, raping and robbing a pregnant teenager in her northwest Houston home. Jorge Alberto Zelaya, 29, was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a juvenile, aggravated robbery and burglary of a habitation with intent to commit sexual assault. Investigators said Zelaya apparently went door-to-door until he found two young mothers home alone with just their children. Their husbands were not there. - (Newsroom)

The attack happened in the basement of a classroom building on the Tiffin University campus Saturday afternoon. "Crazy" black woman in arson fire that burned four Whites alive declared unfit for trial
CHICAGO -- A Cook County judge on Thursday found a homeless woman unfit to stand trial for allegedly starting a fire inside a Wrigleyville apartment building that killed four people in March. The Judge remanded Mary Smith to a mental facility ward in an attempt to restore her mental health so she may one day be able to stand trial. Earlier this year, Smith pleaded not guilty to 12 counts of murder and nine counts of arson. Smith is accused of setting a fire in an interior stairwell - Smith said she lost her shoes that night and her feet were cold. A witness who described seeing Smith in the building vestibule prior to the blaze had given the 44-year-old woman a dollar bill. Smith lit the fire with a dollar bill, according to prosecutors, but it was not clear if it was the same bill. She fled the building as the fire moved rapidly up the stairs. The blaze killed single mother Jennifer Carlson, 24; her roommate Jason Bowers, 23; and two friends, Jerod Pilgreen, 21, of Poplar Grove; and Joseph Schultz of Belvidere.
