Negro inmate's DNA is linked to three rape-murder cases  They were dumped like garbage, half-naked, raped and strangled. For years, the deaths of 25-year-old Phyliss Flagler, 20-year-old Janet Ramos and 23-year-old Sybol Dillard have gone unsolved. Now Broward Sheriff's Office homicide detectives have charged a man in two of the slayings -- and, according to the arrest affidavit, his DNA matches samples taken from the bodies of all three women. On April 5, the BSO charged Alvin A. Merrit, 57, in the Flagler and Ramos cases. He has been in the Miami-Dade County Jail for the past two years, awaiting trial on two separate armed sexual assaults. Black Arrested In Washington University Rape Police in Clayton and from the Washington University campus say a rape case that spilled concern all across the Wash. U. campus is closed. Back in February a stranger forced his way into a Co-ed's dorm room and raped her. Now three months later police say they have identified that suspect William Harris, 24, former campus restaurant employee.. Harris has been in jail since March but police are confident he was responsible for this crime. Cops won't say how big a part DNA played in this case but will say the cooperation and courage from the victim was key to finding their suspect. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |
Dark negro raped 14-year-old girl in the woods at knifepoint  Clayton County Police are trying to identify a man wanted for questioning in the rape of a 14-year-old girl in the woods around Castlegate Drive. The man has been described by the girl as a black male with dark skin, a small afro and a goatee, about five-feet, 10-inches tall and weighing between 200 and 220 pounds. The man is believed to be in his mid 20s, and was wearing a blue jeans, tennis shoes and a gray T-shirt on Thursday, May 17. The girl told police she heard a sound, thought it was a rabbit and followed the noise back into the woods at about 4 p.m. that day. In the wooded area, she was met by a man with a knife. She said he held the knife to her throat, threatened to kill her if she moved and raped her. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |
UK: Black migrant from Ghana "Yaw Obe Frimpong" wanted for rape of 14-year-old girl POLICE investigating the alleged rape of a 14-year-old girl have taken the unusual step of issuing a photograph of a suspect. Yaw Obe Frimpong, 29, has gone missing from his home. He also left work as a security guard and has not been seen in the five weeks since the alleged incident on April 24. The officer heading the case, Det Sgt Hugh Cullen, is urging people to call 999 if they spot Frimpong, who is originally from Ghana. Troy Rape Horror: Woman Attacked in Sleep by Feral Negro Troy police are revealing details of a terrifying home invasion and rape of a 66-year-old woman. They say she was attacked by a man carrying a condom who cut open her screen door and put a pillow over her face. The K-9 Unit tracked down the subject who matched the denoscription provided by the victim. He was wearing all dark clothing, carrying a condom, his zipper was down, and he was very sweaty. "Crazy" Negro threatened to kill a police officer - made bad on his threat - White officer gunned down   For the first time in 59 years, a Cleveland Heights Police Officer has been killed in the line of duty. 31-year-old Jason West, was a 7 year veteran of the department. Friday night, Officer West and two other officers were called to a home where a heated argument from a party going on inside had spilled into the street. "Officer West started to get out of his cruiser, when the suspect started firing at him. First from inside his own car, and then he got out of the car. From a distance of 5 or 6 feet, the suspect fired several more shots at the officer." Cleveland Heights Police say 27 year old Timothy Urshon Halton Jr is the chief suspect in the case. Halton took off running from the scene and ran through a couple of backyards. Officers say when he reached a house on Beechwood Blvd, he kicked in a rear door and attempted to hide. Black mugger stoops to kicking blind White man - even steals his cane  TAMPA - Kris Scheppe had a bus to catch. He stepped off the Amtrak train near Nebraska Avenue, slung his bag over his shoulder and started the short hike to downtown, feeling for curbs with his cane. Tap, tap, tap. Scheppe was born with retinitis pigmentosa, an inherited eye disease that left him with no peripheral vision and central vision of 20/100. He can see, but only directly in front of him, like in a tunnel. But he doesn't shrink from a challenge. He's a former wrestler whose father taught him how to sail. He wants to sail around the world, alone. At 2:30 p.m. Friday, in broad daylight, the 27-year-old -- in town from Fort Myers for a conference for the blind at the Wyndham Westshore -- asked a man for directions to the bus stop. The man grabbed Scheppe's T-shirt. "Give me the money," he demanded. Then came a rain of kicks and punches. When it stopped, and the man ran away, Scheppe felt for his belongings. His cane was gone. His phone. The duffel bag was gone, and with it his clothes, digital camera, about $190 and National Federation for the Blind shot glasses to sell to raise funds for the group. He also lost a checkbook belonging to the Student Division of the National Federation for the Blind of Florida, for which he's treasurer. He got to his feet, bleeding from the face, and walked toward the skyscrapers. He found himself in front of the County Courthouse. He saw a tie. He asked for help, and the man in the tie showed him inside to security. They phoned the Tampa police. The man with the tie -- Scheppe remembers his first name was Steve -- gave him $200, told him the police were on their way, and disappeared.
