    Officers responded to the Northwoods apartment complex after receiving a report that someone approached a female at the complex and offered her money to make a movie. A short while later, officers received a report that an Asian male, matching Jang's denoscription, knocked on an apartment's door and asked to use the bathroom and telephone. A 5-month pregnant woman answered the door and allowed him to use her phone, and the suspect forced his way into the apartment, grabbed the woman by the hair, and ripped her clothing when she tried to escape and he pulled her back into the apartment.

It had been scrawled down the page in a light hand alongside the name of a young Australian woman, Carita Ridgway, and read: "Too much chloroform." Rodrigo Ernesto Martinez Arrested for Sexual Assault of a Child
Rodrigo Ernesto MartinezRodrigo Ernesto Martinez, 24, arraigned on the charge of Sexual Assault a 2nd Degree Felony and Prohibited Sexual Conduct a Third Degree Felony. The bond was set at $150,000.00 dollars and $100,000.00 respectively. On or about October 13, 2006 the suspect sexually assaulted the victim. The victim a 15 year old female made an outcry and it was reported to McAllen Police on April 13, 2007 by her and her mother. - (Newsroom) - (crime)


   

Custodian Julian Velasco-Gaspar, accused in school rape
Julian Velasco-GasparA substitute custodian in the Silver Falls School District was arrested Thursday night on rape charges in connection with an alleged attack on another district employee, police and school district officials said Friday. Julian Velasco-Gaspar, 26, was being held without bail in the Marion County jail on one count each of of first-degree rape, third-degree sexual abuse and second-degree burglary, according to jail records. - (Newsroom) - (crime)


   

Ricardo Delgadillo accused of rape in Idaho Ricardo Delgadillo
A Caldwell man is being held in the Owyhee County jail after the sexual assault of an 18-year-old woman at a Homedale residence. Ricardo Delgadillo, 25, faces a felony charge of one count of rape, authorities said. Police allege Delgadillo assaulted the woman at her friend’s house in Homedale early Sunday. By early Monday, investigators said, they had gathered sufficient evidence to arrest the man at his Caldwell home.   • Pablo Banco Zamora wanted for allegedly committing sexual acts against a 10-year-old girl
    Zamora had a previous charge of cruelty to children in 2004, but the incident involved a different child. Hart said Zamora is described as a Hispanic male, 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He could possibly be in Clearwater, Fla.

  • Mexican gets 7 years in rape
    A Hamilton man believed to be an illegal immigrant has been sentenced to seven years in prison for rape and domestic violence involving his live-in girlfriend, authorities said Thursday. Jorge Olvera-Guillen, 26, who received the sentence Wednesday in Butler County Common Pleas Court, also faces deportation to Mexico after he finishes serving his sentence, Prosecutor Robin Piper said. A Butler County jury convicted Olvera-Guillen in March. His girlfriend, with whom he fathered a child, also was an illegal immigrant, Piper said.
  • Rudy Reynoso and Gilmar Fuentas indicted on gang rape charges
    At least four men participated in the sexual assault, the woman told police. Each raped her repeatedly over the course of several hours inside a bedroom in the house. "Then the other three took their turn, and this occurred several times throughout the night,"

Julia CampbellMANILA, Philippines -- Julia Campbell’s stint in the Bicol region led her to believe all Filipinos are nice, a grieving friend of the US Peace Corps volunteer said. "She thought Filipinos were nice. Akala niya mababait lahat kasi 'yun ang ipinakita ng lahat ng taga-Bicol [She thought everyone was nice because that was what everyone in Bicol showed her]," lamented Evelyn Cadag, 38, a member of Campbell's foster family in Donsol, Sorsogon province, where the American volunteer stayed for over a year. "She's a wonderful person. She fell in love with the people of Donsol," said Cadag as she waited for police forensics experts to finish the autopsy on Campbell at the Loyola Memorial Chapels in Guadalupe, Makati City. Campbell went missing while hiking in Batad, Banaue on Easter Sunday, April 8. Her body was found buried in a shallow grave in the village 10 days later, an apparent homicide victim, according to authorities.     Affidavit details rape of 14-year-old girl taken from bus stop by black 'sex fiend'
Stephen D. SidesThe rape of a 14-year-old girl abducted from her school bus stop began in the attacker's car while he was driving, according to a court document filed Friday. Stephen D. Sides, 40, is in custody and appeared in court for an initial hearing. Prosecutors filed a preliminary probable cause affidavit that provides gruesome details of the March 23 abduction and attack of the girl on the Far Eastside. The Marshall Middle School student reported being seized about 7 a.m. while waiting alone in the dark for her bus.
The girl screamed "Fire!" to call for help as the attacker approached, armed with a knife. She tried to escape as the car drove off, but the attacker forced the door closed. She begged the man to let her go. He told her to remove her clothes and forced her to perform a sex act while he drove. The attacker stopped in the driveway of an abandoned house in the 3700 block of Decamp Drive, and he raped the girl near the garage and in the backyard. - (Newsroom) - (crime)

And although he accepts full responsibility for what happened, he says the 13-year-old girl came on to him. He said it all started back in February when he was substitute teaching for in-school suspension at McDougle Middle in Chapel Hill. "When the offer was made, I resisted what was the offer to rub up against me." Thompson said one particular 13-year-old girl was hitting on him all day long. In the afternoon he said his ego overpowered his rational. "It was a lap dance, and I let her do that," the teacher said. But it didn't end there.     Illinois School Board Wants Teaching Ban For Principal in Sex Scandal
Leroy Coleman and teacher Janet LoftonIf the Sandridge District 172 School Board has its way, former principal Leroy Coleman, who was secretly videotaped having sex with one of his teachers will be barred from working at any Illinois school. The lame duck board adopted a resolution at its meeting Friday night to file a complaint with the regional superintendent of schools for Cook County, demanding that Coleman be stripped of his teaching and administrative certificate be suspended. After that, school officials will go to the state to seek permanent revocation of his teaching and administrative certificate.   • Neo-Nazi rally planned for S.C. * Nazis rally at the State House
    Group protesting illegal immigration to gather at Statehouse on April 21
    The largest neo-Nazi group in the United States has scheduled a rally against illegal immigration at the S.C. Statehouse. About 200 people are expected at the April 21 rally, which is the same weekend as the group's three-day national meeting set for Laurens, said John Taylor Bowles, state director of the National Socialist Movement. Bowles said some members are expected to wear storm trooper uniforms and brown shirts and carry flags with swastikas reminiscent of those of Adolph Hitler's Nazi party in Germany in the 1930s and '40s. The rally, which may include members of the Ku Klux Klan and other white supremacist groups, is to protest illegal immigration. One People's Project, a Philadelphia group that fights racism, expects to have members at the rally observing and taking notes, according to spokesman Daryle Lamont Jenkins.

    Father charged with rape and murder of female infant
Devin JonesThe father of an Amarillo infant who died last week is now being charged with capital murder. On Wednesday, 21-year-old Devin Jones was arrested and booked into the Randall County Jail on charges of injury to a child. Six-month-old Quionna Jones was taken to the hospital Tuesday night not breathing. She was examined and found to be suffering from physical and sexual abuse. The baby was placed on life support and died the next morning. Preliminary autopsy results indicate she was the victim of head and internal injuries. - (Newsroom) - (crime)

    Pastor Accused of Sex Crime Involving Teen Church Member * Sex of alleged victim not reported
Bruce Curtis The Pastor at a Hamilton church is accused of sex crimes against a teenage member of his church. Bruce Curtis who is the Pastor at Community Friendship Church in Hamilton was arraigned in Fairfield Municipal Court on charges of sexual imposition and attempted sexual battery. Detectives say the crimes happened at a home in Fairfield. They say he turned himself in and has been very cooperative with their investigation.
