Trial Begins In Triple-Homicide Case - Spence Accused Of Killing 3 White Students 'Execution Style'      COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The trial began Wednesday for a man charged with the execution-style murders of three people near The Ohio State University campus two years ago. Prosecutors said Vernon Spence, 30, killed three people during a robbery at an
alleged drug house. Kayla Hurst, 21, Aaron Grexa, 23, and Erik Hlass, 22, were found shot in the
back bedroom of a house on July 23, 2003.
Investigators said they were either killed that day or the night before. Their bodies were discovered tied up execution-style and shot to death at the
home. The three young adults were bound with stereo wires. The other suspect, Todd Bensonhaver, pleaded guilty earlier this year to three
counts of involuntary manslaughter, aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and
three counts of kidnapping. The prosecutor said Spence, the alleged triggerman, told his friends, "I have to get rid of them because they know my face." The prosecutor said Bensonhaver and the other man, Rodell Kareen Rahman, ran from the house and heard gunshots.
Prosecutors said that Spence shot Grexa and Hurst twice in the head and Hlass once. The judge in the case admonished Hlass' father, Bob Hlass, for a letter he wrote to Spence while the suspect was in jail.

Serial Rapist Suspect Caught - Those Who Knew Young Surprised by Rape Charges Chief Dan Flynn of the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department announced that Ron Young, 23, of Savannah has been arrested in connection with several rapes. "The charges in this case are the result of an extensive investigation spanning a series of brutal rapes throughout Chatham, Bryan, Beaufort, and Colleton Counties," Chief Flynn said.

UK: Face of the school rapist - Dwayne "Dark Beast" Best - Rape pupil 'needs help' - victim   A 'SCHOOLBOY" jailed for raping a teacher yesterday lost his High Court bid to remain anonymous. Dwayne Best, 16, was named for the first time after being jailed for life over the assault on the 28-year-old in her classroom. In a 12-minute attack, he ripped off her clothes, butted and bit her, grabbed her by the throat and repeatedly threatened to kill her. Man Convicted of Deviant Sexual Assault of Woman Clerk LIBERTY, Mo. (AP ) -- Jurors convicted a 36-year-old man of sexually assaulting a clerk at a nutritional store where he'd shopped for sex-enhancement pills. Clarence "Shayne" Wilson of Kansas City faces a possible seven-year prison sentence for deviant sexual assault in June 2004.
Clay County prosecutors said that during his third visit to the store, Wilson grabbed the woman's hand and stuck it down his pants and put his hand down her pants.

Low down North Las Vegas Pastor Accused of Sexual Misconduct with a little boy A North Las Vegas pastor arrested for sexual misconduct with a minor is free on bail. Pastor Billy Eckstine McCurdy was released from jail Monday after his arrest on Friday.
The 52-year-old is pastor at the Revival Temple Church of God in Christ.
North Las Vegas police arrested him for crimes he's accused of committing at his home. Police will only say that the sexual misconduct between the pastor and a juvenile male occurred at Pastor McCurdy's home. Victims' grandmother releases tapes of low down 'gay' boy-raping reporter Former Channel 9 reporter Stephen Hill is serving time for homosexually assaulting four boys he mentored, but the boys' grandmother said the damage continued long after the trial was over.
Jeary Brown released audio tapes of her conversations with Hill in an effort to salvage her reputation.

Police have issued a CCTV image and a photograph of the man who they say carried out the Number 30 bus bombing in London last week, which killed 14. Scotland Yard's anti-terrorist Branch urged anyone who had seen Hasib Hussain, 18, last Thursday to call the anti-terrorist hotline 0800 789 321. 
According to a Wednesday afternoon press release, police are looking for 28-year-old Juan Gomez Jr., aka "Little Ripo" of Muscatine.
Gomez is described as a Hispanic male, 5-foot, 8-inches tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds. Gomez has two teardrop-shaped tattoos under the corner of his left eye.
A judge in Zimbabwe has sentenced a leading youth athlete to four years in prison for competing in female events, after being found to be a man. Samukeliso Sithole apologised for competing as a woman. The athlete had claimed to be a hermaphrodite - with both male and female sex organs - but in court, admitted to being a man. Six witnesses - including two doctors - said at last week's hearing, the athlete was a man. "I am very sorry," Sithole told the court in the central town of Kwekwe.
"They come selling candy. Then three of them just jumped in here, beat the (explicative) out of me and took my money and all my stuff," said Hall during a call to 911.
The Gadsden city school board has voted to stop using the name of Confederate general and Ku Klux Klan founder Nathan Bedford Forrest as part of a consolidation plan, a move that ends a long-simmering dispute.
