  A San Francisco man is suspected in a series of rapes and may have fled to Mexico, according to documents supporting an arrest warrant signed by a judge. Edwin Adelson Palacios, 28, is suspected of raping a 19-year-old woman Aug. 26 in his Ford Expedition near Larkin and Polk streets, court records filed Friday show. Triple Shooting Suspect Lavender Howse Arrested
Metro Nashville Police arrested 15 year-old Lavender Howse early Monday morning. He was accused of killing one man, critically injuring a child and shooting a woman who was walkiing her dog, all during a Sunday crime spree.

The victim, who had his son with him, said he pulled a gun to defend himself when Howse tried to carjack him. Police said Howse then shot the victim's 9 year-old son in the face. The child was still in the intensive care unit. Police said the teen left the mall and drove to east Nashville, where he shot a woman as she was walking her dog. - (Tyrone N. Butts) - (TNB)
