Fag Former Scout Leader Gets 22 Years For Rape Of Little Boys Ohio -- A former scout leader and school worker was sentenced to 22 years for the rape of three boys. David J. Porter, 44, pleaded guilty to raping three boys and sexually assaulting another boy, all of whom came under his watch in an after-school program or the Boy Scouts. The homosexual attacks occurred at Porter's apartment, his car, or on Boy Scout camping trips. Porter had been employed by the after-school program as a van driver and tutor. The victims were between the ages of 5 and 14 when the assaults occurred. They all report having been raped numerous times by Porter. - (forum) |
Man Sentenced In BSU Student's Shooting Death that netted $2 A man who admitted he shot and killed a University student was sentenced to 85 years in prison. Damien Sanders, 23, pleaded guilty to murder and armed robbery in connection with the 2004 death of Karl Harford. Harford, 20, was robbed by Sanders and two other people after Harford offered them a ride home from an off-campus party. Sanders testified that he shot Harford during the robbery that netted Harford's attackers only $2. Harford's body was found later in an alley One of the other suspects, Brandon L. Suspected serial rapist's past unveiled Johnny Moffett is charged with 2 rapes so far. The Mobile Police Department says 10 of 11 victims in the West Mobile attacks have either seen a photo spread, live line-up or heard a voice line up. "We have other elements and other aspects of the investigation that we're looking into. "He's had burglary arrests, marijuana and cocaine arrests." Mobile County District Attorney says Moffett has 2 misdemeanor convictions and 2 felony convictions. He's done time for illegal possession of a credit card and possession of cocaine. Rape suspect charged in several cases - Man also wanted in other attacks The question is could a man arrested for a rape in northern Indiana be a serial rapist? Police say that James Washington is now linked to six attacks in two states. Washington reportedly used a badge to gain the trust of the victims. The attacks took place in Portage, Hammond and Hobart, Indiana and in south suburban Riverdale. Police say the rapist used a stun gun and handcuffs in several of the attacks but he misled investigators by using different cars to use during the incidents. James O. Washington's victims tended to be young, petite, black females. |
Man sentenced to life for killing daughter in day care attack The Detroit man convicted of fatally beating his three-year-old daughter proclaimed his innocence today before being sentenced to life in prison.Bernard Kelly received the mandatory sentence of life in prison without parole in the September death of Stefanie Belue. He also received 50 to 75 years for shooting the operator of Stefanie's in-home day care center, and the woman's niece. Prosecutors said Kelly killed Stefanie because he did not want to pay child support. - (forum) |

Student charged with rape - Woman reports sexual assault in Norse Hall A 20-year-old, male Northern Kentucky University student was charged and arrested Feb. 24, with raping a 19-year-old female acquaintance, also an NKU student, in his dorm room Feb. 23, according to a police report. Michael Dwayne Powell, a resident of Norse Hall, was charged with first-degree rape and transported to the Campbell County jail by an NKU police officer. The woman said she and Powell exchanged phone numbers Feb. 23, and later that day he invited her to his dorm room. Jury to decide if man guilty in brutal rape of 72-year-old woman A jury deliberated for about an hour before deciding to call it quits Wednesday in the trial of Stanley Bradley, 40. It was Feb. 6, 2004, when a 72-year-old woman's home was broken into. Around 3 a.m., a man entered the victim's home and "threw (the victim) to the floor and attempted to suffocate her by holding his hands over her nose and mouth," a Calhoun County Sheriff's Office report indicates. The victim later told investigators the subject placed rugs and other items over her face. He then sexually attacked the woman then demanded $20 from the victim, |
Police capture suspect in beating, kidnapping of Palm City woman, 82 He said he was going to have to kill her. The frail 82-year-old - brutally beaten for hours and then snatched from her tropical home in an apparent robbery Tuesday - told him not to get in trouble over her. Authorities arrested Timothy Joe Owens, 40, a career criminal once convicted of homicide, who allegedly kidnapped the retired senior citizen in a crime that horrified neighbors in the St. Lucie Shores area of Palm City. Two Men Arrested In Rape of 13-Year-Old CLERMONT, Fla. -- Two men are in custody, accused of using a bogus story to get inside a Clermont home to sexually batter a teenage girl inside. Marleno Todd just shook his head and Luis Soto stared at the ground as deputies took them both to jail. But detectives say they were much more aggressive earlier this week, when they allegedly talked their way inside a Clermont home and sexually battered a 13-year-old girl. It happened in the Westchester subdivision. Investigators say the duo was going door to door, posing as carpet cleaners and trying to get inside. - (Rasp) |
