Police Arrest Suspect in Rape of Deaf/Mute Victim A suspect has been arrested for the sexual assault of a deaf and mute Sacramento woman who was attacked on her way to work a month ago. Juan Michael Tidwell, 25, is being held on kidnapping, rape and robbery charges. Tidwell is alleged to have tried to befriend the victim as she walked to the College Greens light rail station on her way to work the evening of September 10. Investigators said Tidwell used pen and paper to communicate with her. At some point in the exchange, police said Tidwell brandished a knife and forced the woman to a secluded location where he allegedly assaulted her. - (Rule .308) - (crime) |

| Norcal: Teenage girl assaulted near St. Helena High School by "Hispanic" 16-year-old female victim was on Grayson Avenue near the school when the suspect, who had been hiding in the landscaped area along the sidewalk, said "Hi" to the victim and began following her down the street. He then came up behind her and grabbed her around the waist and attempted to drag her to a dark area beside the school's auditorium. During the struggle, the suspect unzipped the victim's shirt. The victim struggled with the suspect, knocked him down and fled. The victim sustained bruises to her face. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, late teens to early 20s, with a muscular build, and wearing pants. Migrant from Guam - William Tyquiengco on trial for the rape and murder of his sister-in-law SALINAS, Norcal. --"Her throat was cut from one end to the other, and very deep, very deep -- almost decapitated -- I knew she couldn't have survived," Tommy Charfauros testified. - Testimony is scheduled to continue in Salinas in the William Tyquiengco trial. The former Marina man is accused of killing his wife's sister, Starr Morren, in Monterey in 1996. The defendant's former wife could take the stand Wednesday. Black hoodlum friend of black Afro-merican "Ivy-leager" who shot her by mistake snagged in Fresno traffic stop  Berkeley -- A 22-year-old man wanted for the shooting death of Dartmouth college student Meleia Willis-Starbuck in July was arrested in Fresno Friday morning, Berkeley Police Lt. Arnold Lui said today. Christopher Lester Hollis was stopped by Fresno police Friday and brought into custody on an arrest warrant related to the alleged homicide of Willis-Starbuck on July 17, Berkeley police spokesman Joe Okies said. Tyrone, other "dark-complected" suspects sought in south Sacramento parking lot robberies  Residents in living in Sacramento have been targeted in multiple robberies in the last two months. Police are now seeking the public's help in catching the suspects. The suspects have displayed guns in most of the robberies. They have taken wallets, cellphones and keys. Most of the victims have had a limited command of English. Based on denoscriptions provided by the victims, police are looking for several dark-complected men ranging in age from their late teens to early 20s. John English Faces Another Drug Charge - Former Fairfield Councilman Arrested At Cache Creek  WOODLAND, Calif. -- Former Fairfield city councilman John English was arrested in Yolo County earlier this week after security officers at the Cache Creek Casino said they found drugs in a bag belonging to English. He left the bag behind at Cache Creek and went back looking for it on Monday. Casino officials said when they showed him the bag, English said it was definitely his, but changed his story when they said they had found as many as 30 doses of methamphetamine inside. police report a stranger sexually assaulted a pregnant woman in her apartment.
He knocked on her door and asked for directions. When she gave them he
left but returned and asked to use the phone but when she tried to close
the door he forced his way inside and sexually assaulted her. She
started screaming and told him she was pregnant. The woman needed stitches.
He is dark skinned with a 1-inch ponytail and was frizzy on the
