The U.S. Supreme Court has halted the execution of a black man convicted of a double murder in Texas John Buck (aka Duane Buck aka Duane Edward Buck) was convicted of gunning down ex-girlfriend Debra Gardner, 32, and Kenneth Butler, 33, outside Houston in July, 30, 1995, a week after Buck and Gardner broke up. Buck's guilt is not being questioned, but his lawyers say the jury was unfairly influenced and that he should receive a new sentencing hearing. A third person, Buck's stepsister, Phyllis Taylor, also was wounded. Gardner's 14-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son were among those who witnessed the shootings. Withnesses saw Buck laughing as he stood over her body and heard him say, "The bitch, she deserved it." |
Harrisburg black accused in attack, attempted rape in midtown A Harrisburg man is accused of choking a woman and trying to rape her in midtown last week. William S. Jenkins, was taken into custody. A woman told police she met Jenkins in a midtown bar and socialized with him on occasion. On Saturday the pair were walking to a bar about 3:45 p.m. when he stopped behind a building i and became violent after an argument. Jenkins choked the woman until she lost consciousness while trying to get her to engage in a sex act. - (Black rapes) |
Black charged with raping Annapolis teen Annapolis Police arrested a man they say raped a 15-year-old girl after inviting her into his home Monday morning. The victim had just left her home and was walking past 33-year-old William Ashley Pickett's house on Royal Street when he asked her to come in. He then forcibly sexually assaulted and raped her, police say. The girl reported the rape to police the next day. She told officers she knew Pickett and a warrant was issued for his arrest. - (Black rapes) |
Black serial rapist of elderly women will try 'insanity defense' Suspected "Twilight Rapist," Billy Joe Harris will rely on an insanity defense to keep him from spending the rest of his life in jail. After the state deemed Harris competent to stand trial, Cohen teamed up with a psychiatrist and psychologist. Black accused of raping, abducting woman related to other crime The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says the man suspected of abducting and sexually assaulting a woman is connected to another crime. IMPD says Sherman Smith, 25, is also charged with the attempted murder of Helen Lopez. Lopez was found stabbed in a burning home on August 29. Police say Lopez is still in critical condition. Black prison guard arrested for allegedly raping, kidnapping inmate An Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office prison guard was fired and arrested Friday for allegedly raping and kidnapping an inmate. Dejuan R. Thomas, 38, was arrested after an inmate reported Thomas's actions. He is being charged with aggravated rape, second degree kidnapping and sexual malfeasance in office. - (Black rapes) |
Bay Minette black convicted of raping girl A Baldwin County jury has found a Bay Minette man guilty of second-degree rape of an underage girl. The jury returned its verdict Thursday against 44-year-old Kalvin Gatrey. On three occasions between December 2009 and April 2010, Gatrey had forcible sexual intercourse with a girl who was over age 12 but under age 16, according to his indictment. - (Black rapes) |
Black Teen Confesses to Rape, Burglary A suspected serial rapist is off the streets of Memphis and being held on half a million dollars bond. 18-year old Daramis Sharkey is charged with three counts of aggravated rape and one count of aggravated burglary. Police say a fingerprint at one of the crime scenes helped them track him down. Once in custody, police say Sharkey confessed to the three rapes and home invasions dating back to June. - (Black rapes) |
Black accused in violent rape, shooting appears in court A man accused of kidnapping, raping, robbing and shooting a southwest Houston woman appeared in court Friday. A probable cause hearing was held for Marcus Wayne Smith. Investigators say back in July, Smith kidnapped a 27-year-old woman from her apartment, forced her to withdraw money from an ATM and sexually assaulted her. Convicted black kidnapper gets 30 years on 31st birthday A (black) man was convicted and sentenced to 30 years in prison for the kidnapping and attempted rape of a woman in Delray Beach. The trial evidence showed that Marcus Christian McFadden jumped into the front passenger seat of a woman's car at a red light and ordered her to make a U-turn and head for the beach. Negroid Arrested For Statutory Rape Police in Burlington arrested a man on Tuesday for statutory rape of a 15-year-old after she reported the assault to police. Police received a call in June from a young girl who told them she was the victim of a sexual assault by Jason Banks. Police began an investigation and were able to track down Banks by phone but he refused to disclose his location. Banks was tracked down by U.S. Marshall's on Tuesday at his home and was placed in the Alamance County Jail. - (Black rapes) |

Mobile black man charged with rape, kidnapping involving assault on woman A Mobile man remains behind bars charged with raping a woman late last week. Ray Anthony Longshaw, 23, is charged with first-degree rape, second-degree kidnapping, second-degree domestic violence and first-degree sodomy. Police said that on Friday, a man identified as Longshaw, was armed with a knife and kidnapped and sexually assaulted a woman on Lakeside Drive. Cops seek black in rape of girl, 11 Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man accused of impregnating an 11-year-old girl. Trevaun Cortez Brooks, 28, is charged in with one count each of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a person younger than 13 and second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a person younger than 13. He faces up to life in prison if convicted. Brooks is accused of having sex with the girl last year when he lived with her mother. The girl gave birth in August and has since turned 12. Black Cop Faces On-Duty Patrol Car Rape Charge a Philadelphia police officer is facing rape charges after an incident earlier in August. The Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office says Keith Corley II, 27, has been charged with Rape, Involuntary Deviant Sexual Intercourse, Sexual Assault, Indecent Assault, Indecent Exposure and Official Oppression. Investigators say Cynthia Greenwood took her 12-year-old adoptive daughter to get an abortion because the father was her biological son. Cynthia Greenwood stood quiet as a judge read the 50-year-old woman h12-year-old adopted ser rights Monday morning. She is accused of interfering in a rape investigation involving her pecial needs daughter by getting her an abortion after she got pregnant. Greenwood's biological son, Isaac Greenwood -- who was 18 at the time -- was said to be the father. Black NC rape suspect caught after escaping Annapolis cell A man charged with kidnapping and rape in North Carolina was caught early today after he escaped from a cell in Annapolis District Court. Bonrick Lee Barksdale, 25, overpowered guards and got out after a judge denied him bail, police said. Police went on a door-to-door search Thursday. He was found in a hotel in Glen Burnie. Obama's illegal African migrant uncle arrested in Massachusetts An uncle of President Barack Obama was arrested last week in Framingham, Massachusetts, for allegedly operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Onyango Obama was arrested on August 24 after failing a field sobriety test. The arrested African is the half-brother of President Obama's father. There was no other administration comment immediately available. According to a a federal law enforcement source Onyango Obama was not legally in the United States and has been previously ordered removed from the country. Black is first to receive lethal injection for rape and murder of 88-year-old White woman A (black) who raped and suffocated an 88-year-old woman was the first person in Virginia to receive a lethal injection using a revised three-drug version, last Thursday (Aug 18). Jerry Terrell Jackson, 30, was put to death after he was found guilty of the rape and murder of seamstress Ruth Phillips in her Williamsburg apartment in 2001. It has been reported that Jackson broke into the woman's home during a burglary, put a pillow over her face and raped her. Evil homeless Negro finally arrested for murder of White high school girl thanks to DNA Nearly seven years after she was killed, police say they've found the man who killed Gina Gruenwald. Gruenwald's body was found August 21, 2004 in Denver, Colorado. Friends had dropped her off after a night out and her body was found just four blocks away the following morning. She had been stabbed in the neck. The crime scene showed Gruenwald had struggled with the person who killed her, including a bite mark made by the attacker. It's that bite mark, which left behind DNA, that led prosecutors to charge 42-year-old Billy Wilson this week. Wilson is said to be a homeless man who was arrested earlier this year on an unrelated case in San Francisco. A DNA sample obtained from Wilson was entered into a national database and was a match for Gruenwald's case. Black Nebraskan jailed in Congressman Boswell attack A 20-year-old Fremont man who authorities say was the gunman in a burglary and home-invasion robbery attempt this weekend at the Lamoni, Iowa, farmhouse of U.S. Rep. Leonard Boswell was arrested Tuesday. David Palmer Dewberry was taken into custody in Independence, Mo., and was being held on a federal warrant alleging unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. Dewberry and his family had lived in Lamoni for a time before moving to Nebraska, and his mother was friendly with Boswell's wife. He had been to the Boswell home. Dewberry entered the home Saturday night and attacked the congressman's daughter. Boswell, 77, tried to fight the man off. As they scuffled, his 22-year-old grandson got a shotgun. Justin Carter faces two counts of murder and one count of armed robbery in the killings of Steven Konchinsky, 57, and his wife, Julie Konchinsky, 54. Black Man Charged With Murdering White Ex-Girlfriend A Golden Valley, Minn. man has been charged with murdering a 19-year-old woman from Henderson. Nineteen-year-old Damone Christopher Williams-Tillman is charged with second-degree murder in the death of 19-year-old Josselyn Bishop, of Henderson, Minn. Bishop was found unresponsive but warm to the touch Friday afternoon in a commercial district of Mankato. Coleman Jr., who beat Tiffiny Lyn Cody-Smith to death over a drug debt in 2008. Coleman on at least two occasions said he would kill Cody if she didn’t pay him back.
