Black woman arrested for kidnap, murder and burning of body of 12-year-old White boy Police say a 44-year-old woman charged with capital murder in the kidnapping and death of a 12-year-old Houston boy admitted to discarding a body, but said she didn’t kill the child. Mona Yvette Nelson, a maintenance worker for several area apartment complexes, was arrested and charged on Wednesday. Investigators believe she kidnapped, killed and burned the body of Jonathan Foster on Christmas Eve. Foster had been left alone at his mother’s apartment while she and her roommate worked that day. Black mom said dead tot possessed by demon - kills son in botched exorcism In Indiana a Fort Wayne mom killed her three year old son in a botched exorcism. Latisha Lawson, 31, has been charged in the death of her son, Jezaih King. While attempting an exorcism, Lawson forced her two children to drink a mixture of oil and vinegar because she believed they were both demon possessed. Lawson told police she couldn’t take her son’s temper tantrums, and believed they were signs of possession. Lawson’s daughter, Kierra King, 10, vomited when given the mixture. Shock after (black) Charles Clements gets probation for fatally shooting neighbor over peeing dog A Chicago-area man who shot and killed a neighbor whose dog urinated on his lawn, was sentenced to just four years of probation on Wednesday, shocking the victim's family. Will County Judge Daniel Rozak rejected prison time for Charles Clements, 69, of University Park, noting the Marine vet had no prior criminal history. Clements faced up to 20 years behind bars after being convicted of the second-degree murder in May of Joshua Funches, 23. "This is certainly not justice," Gail Williams, the slain man's aunt, told the Chicago Tribune. Couple beaten outside Walmart by black Khalid El-Amin Muhammad A Franklin man was jailed after allegedly using a club to beat a Southampton County couple outside Walmart after an apparent altercation inside the store. Khalid El-Amin Muhammad, 41, formerly known as Keith Nesbitt, is accused of attacking the unidentified husband and wife from behind as they left the store. Both were taken to Southampton Memorial Hospital with what police called serious injuries. “That’s when I heard a bunch of screaming and yelling,” he said. “All I could see was blonde hair flying around. New York police arrest black in case of body found in suitcase Police have arrested a man in connection in the death of a woman whose body was found in a suitcase last week. Hassan Malik, 55, has been charged with murder in the second degree, police said late Monday. As police were leading Malik away, a reporter asked if he was sorry for what he allegedly did. "Yes," Malik replied. The victim, 28-year-old Betty Williams from the Bronx, was found Wednesday -- strangled and then stuffed into a dark-colored piece of luggage, authorities said. Trenton Orendorf, 40, could face domestic violence and assault charges, but those charges have yet to be formally made against him. That's because a judge has deemed Orendorf incompetent to attend his court hearing. (Black) Castle Rock man who allegedly shot pregnant wife arrested after standoff Shannon Orendorf, a 33-year-old woman, who is three months pregnant, was shot and wounded. The victim managed to drive to her mother's home with her 3-year-old son. Friends say she was shot in her collar bone. Dallas Pastor Accused of Robbing Parishioner's Home of Luxury Items on Christmas Eve A Dallas pastor who is accused of climbing through a window to steal fur coats and purses from her parishioner's home on Christmas Eve claims that she was just trying to protect the property from burglars. Sandy McGriff, 52, was apprehended by Dallas police in the afternoon on Christmas Eve when she was spotted stuffing items belonging to Serita Agnew, a parishioner at the The Church of the Living God where McGriff is the pastor. Del. Black Goes on Christmas Stabbing Rampage: Cops Police arrested 44-year-old Vincent Stevens of Wilmington on Christmas. He allegedly stabbed two 24-year-olds and a 36-year-old during a gathering in an apartment, cops said. The victims and Stevens know one another, said police. “The victims were all stabbed multiple times about the face, head, neck, wrist, hands and legs,” police said. “The cuts that the victim sustained were determined to be significant requiring stitches and or surgery.” All three victims were stabbed multiple times. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |
Homeless black suspect in blunt trauma murder of sleeping homeless man Tulsa police are investigating the city's 59th homicide, which occurred early Christmas morning. When police arrived they found 51-year-old Russell Leon Smith Jr. who appeared to have suffered a blunt trauma to the head. Police say Smith, who was homeless, was sleeping when he was beaten with an unknown object. Arriving officers located witnesses who identified Paul Joseph Sopsher, who is also homeless, as the suspect. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |
Police looking for black rape suspect The Demopolis Police Department is on the look out for Curt Ladean Anderson, 48, of Demopolis. Anderson is wanted on charges of Rape First and Assault Second and was last known to be living at 604 E. Pettus St. Demopolis Chief of Police Tommie Reese said it is also possible Anderson was in the Eutaw or Tuscaloosa area. Christmas weekend violence kills scores in Nigeria Dozens of armed men attacked the church on Christmas Eve, dragging the pastor out of his home and shooting him to death. Two young men from the choir rehearsing for a late-night carol service also were slain. The group of about 30 attackers armed with guns and knives also killed two people passing by Victory Baptist Church. The assailants only left after setting the church and pastor's house ablaze. The group blamed for the church attacks is the radical Muslim sect known as Boko Haram |

Family mourns White woman murdered by black in ATM robbery shooting DaVida Nicholson, 46, was withdrawing money from the ATM when she was approached by the suspect, Brandon James Johnson, 20. Nicholson attempted to pull away from the suspect, and that's when Johnson shot her. He then fired multiple shots at a vehicle leaving a second ATM. That driver was not injured. Johnson continued to shoot at other individuals in the credit union parking lot. Nicholson's son, Richard "Bubba" Vowell, 21, who is mentally challenged, was in the passenger seat of his mother's car when the shooting happened. Johnson pulled Vowell from the truck after the shootings and crawled inside. That's where he was when two KPD officers arrived on the scene. White Dougherty County Police officer killed in shooting by black "Dontavius" The Dougherty County Police Chief confirmed that Lt. Cliff Rouse was killed Thursday night. By 4:15 a.m., officers were on their way to get a judge to sign arrest warrants charging a suspect with the murder. Lt. Rouse responded to an armed robbery at the Pitt Stop Convenience Store at 10:00 Thursday night. He was shot nearby at Nob Hill Mobile Home Estates moments later. 20-year old Dontavius Raynard Thomas is charged with felony murder, armed robbery, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Blind black Governor regrets not informing White victim's family before commuting black killer A day after commuting the sentence of a man convicted of killing an unarmed teenager during a racially charged confrontation, New York Gov. David A. Paterson said he regretted not informing the victim's family first. "In retrospect I would have sought the (victim's family's) input and that's why I spoke with the family today," Paterson told reporters. Convicted black felon charged with beating elderly White woman Investigators say convicted felon Kevin Johnson beat 92-year old Eunice "Sunny" Lester in the face before taking off with her car. Lester was left in the driveway of her home in the rain. Johnson crashed her car about 4 miles away, and was arrested there. He now faces charges of car jacking, aggravated battery on a person over 65-year old, and grand theft auto. Sunny as she was nicknamed by friends for her bubbly personality is well known for her charity work and volunteer work in Gadsden Co. She was arriving home from visiting seniors when she was attacked. Lester was a WWII nurse. Her oldest son Dickson Lester says she is a strong Christian believer and would be asking her children to forgive the person who attacked her. Her children expect justice to be served. Her children ask that the community donate their time in volunteer work this week to honor her mother. Lester is in a coma at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her children say she has people as far away at Costa Rica and Nigeria praying for her quick recovery. Johnson was released from prison in May. Sketch of black carjacker who beat up 74-year-old White woman released JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police are investigating the beating of a 74-year-old woman during a robbery and carjacking at a fast-food restaurant last month. Fern Gorin was attacked by a (black) man while she was sitting in her car at an Arby's drive-through. The beating left her face and upper body swollen and black and blue. Authorities said Earnest Joseph III, 27, of LaPlace was arrested. Slaying victim Taylor Adams lived down the street from Joseph and the two knew each other. Court rejected the appeal of Christopher M. McCowen who was convicted of raping and fatally stabbing Christa Worthington in 2002 in her seaside house. DA will seek capital charges in 1996 rape-murder of 13-year-old White girl by black beast A charge against a suspect arraigned last month in the 1996 rape and strangulation death of a Texas City girl is expected to be upgraded to capital murder. The case, 14 years in the making, against Kevin Edison Smith, 45, also is expected to be presented to a grand jury later this month.
