Black admits rapes, Oklahoma City police say A suspect has confessed to raping a shopper who was abducted at gunpoint outside Penn Square Mall in Oklahoma City two days before Christmas, police. John Stepney Jr. 31, was arrested Thursday. Police reported he also confessed to sexually assaulting another woman Wednesday night and "stated he might have committed” a Jan. 5 sexual assault, but said he couldn’t remember. Police said the victim abducted at Penn Square Mall’s garage was forced into her own vehicle and sexually assaulted twice at different locations. Police said the attacker also used the victim’s card to take cash from two automated banking machines. - (Newsroom) |
Police Charge KC Black with Attempted Rape A 36-year-old Kansas City man has been arrested and charged with attempted rape. Frederick Gunn was charged on Jan. 10. Police were investigating a domestic argument Friday in an apartment at 3015 Paseo when a woman contacted them from another apartment saying Gunn had just tried to assault her. Black Employee charged with rape of wheelchair-bound woman in Nursing Home had criminal record A former nursing home employee charged with raping one of the residents has an extensive criminal record. Santonio McCoy, 33, had worked as a janitor and was charged on Thursday with forcible rape. The crime happened inside the Normandy Nursing Center on St. Charles Rock Road on December 21st. The suspect turned himself in two-and-a-half weeks after the crime. The 36-year-old female victim is bound to a wheelchair and suffers from cerebral palsy and seizures. Because the victim cannot communicate, the crime could've gone undetected if it hadn't been for another employee. - (Newsroom) |

Black ex-con charged with killing trick-or-treater pleads not guilty to federal weapons charge A South Carolina ex-convict accused of answering a knock at his door on Halloween night by spraying the front of his house with bullets and killing a 12-year-old trick-or-treater pleaded not guilty Tuesday to a federal weapons charge. Quentin Lamar Patrick is accused of killing T.J. Darrisaw, who died in a rain of at least 29 bullets. Patrick, 22, entered his plea during an arraignment on a charge of being a felon in possession of a gun and ammunition, an offense connected to two guns found in his Sumter home. Patrick, who has three prior convictions for crack cocaine distribution, emptied an AK-47 into his front door, walls and windows when he heard someone knock and saw people wearing masks standing on his stoop, police have said. - (Newsroom) |
(Dark Hispanic) Milciades Mendoza Alcantara Charged In Robberies, Tanning Salon Rape A 19-year-old man has been charged in connection with a sexual assault and two robberies that happened on Tuesday night. Spartanburg County Sheriff's Maj. Dan Johnson said Milciades Mendoza Alcantara, of Duncan, is charged with robbing a Subway restaurant on Highway 101. Subway employee Amanda Cooper said, "He came up to me with a knife in his hand and pushed me to the cash register and basically pointed at Kristi, the girl I work with, with a knife pointed at me and pointed at the money." - (Newsroom) |
Colored Traveling salesman pleads guilty to rape-murder of 90-year-old White woman A traveling magazine salesman from Missouri pleaded guilty to charges that he raped and killed a 90-year-old Lafayette woman in her home three years ago. Richard Craig McNew, 34, a felon from St. Louis, is expected to be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for murdering Anna Elizabeth Vuori. Vuori was bound and gagged in her Moraga Boulevard home, sexually assaulted and found smothered to death on Dec. 10, 2005. McNew, who worked for Overachievers, a Missouri magazine-subnoscription company, then took $18,000 in savings bonds and $200 in cash and Vuori's keys. - (Newsroom) - (Black-on-white) |
Girls' coach pleads guilty to sex charges Randall Ralston, who coached basketball at three local high schools and in a youth league, faces up to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty this morning to charges he engaged in unlawful sexual conduct with several girls. He was indicted in October on one count of rape and 13 counts of unlawful sexual conduct involving two 15-year-old girls he coached in a summer league. - (Newsroom) |

Black arrested for sexually molesting a 70-year-old woman with dementia A 20-year-old man is accused of sexually molesting a 70-year-old woman with dementia in Boynton Beach, a police report said. Police on Sunday arrested Johnathan Russell on one count of lewd and lascivious molestation to an elderly person and one count of lewd and lascivious exhibition in the presence of an elderly person. Police became aware of the molestation after the woman was taken from her assisted-living facility -- Boynton Beach Assisted Living -- to Bethesda Memorial Hospital. Rape-case charges grow against Whitmore Lake Negro Police say a Whitmore Lake man accused of raping his girlfriend and holding her captive now faces charges of attempting to persuade the woman not to testify and threatening to kill her. Derrick Alden Johnson, 23, will appear for a preliminary hearing Jan. 7 on two felony counts of witness intimidation - including a death threat - and one count of inciting or procuring perjury in court proceedings, records show. |
Three charged with rape of minors Rojaun Hutchinson, 19, of 64 Ash St., Apt. A, faces six indictments of class B felony sexual assault. The Hillsborough County criminal indictments allege that between June and September, Hutchinson, who was 18 at the time, raped an acquaintance who was 14. |

Paul Harris, 34, of 18-1/2 Blossom St., was indicted on one class B felony count of sexual assault, one class B felony count of endangering the welfare of a child, and a class A misdemeanor charge of sexual assault. Harris, who was 33 at the time, in August raped a 14-year-old girl whom he knew, police allege. |
