Missing White Las Vegas Boy Kidnapped by Mexican Drug Gangsters Found
A Las Vegas boy who police say was abducted at gunpoint by violent Mexican drug dealers was found alive on a city street Saturday. Las Vegas police made the announcement late last night after finding the 6-year-old wandering the streets of northeast Las Vegas. "Cole Puffinburger has been found. He is safe and in our custody, said Las Vegas police Sergeant Vincent Cannito. Holding back the tears, Cole's father, Robert Puffinburger, thanked the volunteers who helped to find his son. "It's indescribable," he said. "I thank this whole community. I can't thank you enough. Thank you so much for helping me find my son." - (Newsroom)
Police focusing on 3 in Las Vegas boy's abduction
Authorities investigating the abduction of a 6-year-old boy from his Las Vegas home focused Saturday on three people, including a Mexican citizen and the youngster's grandfather, who they said may have stolen millions of dollars from drug dealers. The Mexican man, identified as Jesus Gastelum, is in his mid-30s and believed to be in Las Vegas or Southern California, police said at a news conference. The other "person of interest" was not identified. Authorities already had arrested the grandfather of Cole Puffinburger, who was abducted Wednesday morning by two men posing as police officers. Police said they believe that the men were Mexican drug dealers and that the kidnapping at gunpoint was a "message" to the grandfather, Clemens Tinnemeyer, 51.

  A British caterer has been banned from the food industry after he was caught cooking kebabs while a dead body lay on a sofa a few yards away, the U.K.’s Daily Mail is reporting. Police found Jaswinder Singh, 45, working near the body of one of his employees in a fly-infested food preparation room of Pappu Sweet Centre and Catering. Authorities arrived at the scene to investigate the death of the worker, but a post-mortem investigation confirmed that the death was not suspicious, the Mail said. But police were horrified when they discovered the extent of the unsanitary conditions under which Singh was preparing food. According to the Mail’s report, investigators discovered that employees were smoking and spitting on the floor, a dead rat under a kitchen pan, moldy food and other filthy conditions.

  The attorney for a Marine accused of killing a pregnant colleague says his client is fighting extradition to the United States. Dick McNeil says 21-year-old Cpl. Cesar Laurean has filed an extradition appeal in a Mexican court. In September, North Carolina officials said a Mexican court approved returning Laurean to the U.S. Police arrested Laurean in April in Tacambaro, Mexico, after a three-month manhunt.
