  Toronto, Aug 6 (IANS) A Canadian court Tuesday heard with shock how a man, who killed and then beheaded a fellow passenger on a bus near Winnipeg last Wednesday night, cut off body parts of his victims and was seen eating them. More shockingly, he even tried to flee with many body parts of his victim - an ear, nose and partial mouth - in a plastic bag hidden in his pocket. Edmonton-based Vincent Weiguang Li , 40-year-old Chinese immigrant, faces second-degree charges for killing and later beheading 22-year-old Tim McLean of Winnipeg. As gory details of how Li allegedly ate parts of his victim’s body came to light when he appeared in a court in Portage La Prairie city near Winnipeg, the judge ordered a psychiatric assessment to know whether he is fit to stand trial. - (Newsroom)

Illegal Mexican migrant executed for gang-rape and murder of two Houston girls
HUNTSVILLE — The state of Texas defied an international court and executed Jose Ernesto Medellin late Tuesday after the U.S. Supreme Court denied a stay of execution for the Houston killer in the 1993 gang rape-murders of two teenage girls. Medellin, 33, was pronounced dead by lethal injection at 9:57 p.m., nine minutes after receiving the fatal cocktail and nearly four hours after his scheduled 6 p.m. execution. - (Newsroom) - (Invasion!)

In a statement to police, Derrick Sean O'Brien said he gave the belt to companion Jose Medellin, who used it to strangle one of the girls and told him to grab one end of it while they both pulled on it to kill her.
