UK: Black migrant barber jailed for rape - may be deported  Kenny Obire has been sentenced to nine years imprisonment for a rape committed five years ago. The court also recommended that he be deported after his sentence is complete. Obire was found guilty of rape on 13 December 2007. The court heard how on Saturday 8 July 2002 Obire began to talk to the victim, a 22-year-old French woman, as she was walking past his place of work in the Old Kent Road. She was keen to practice her English and after talking for a while accepted an invitation to go with him to his flat. Once at the flat she ate some food and after that Obire kissed her on the cheek without warning. She decided to leave but was prevented from doing so. Obire barred her way and pursued her around the flat, eventually forcing her onto the bed. She was afraid and told him repeatedly to let her leave and asked him to leave her alone. - (Newsroom) - (UK) |
Chattanooga Looking for Black Attempted Murder Suspect Grady Joe Careathers is a black male whose is 45 years old. He is 5'5" in height and 160 pounds. Careathers is also known as "Leprechaun". On January 14, police were called to 1261 Popular St on a shooting, when the officers arrived they found an 18 year old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the face and back. The suspect had fled the scene. Investigators have identified the suspect as Grady Joe Careathers. Four Black Arrests Made In Connection With Hovey St. Quadruple Homicide The four suspects will most likely be charged with the murder of Gina Hunt, 24, and her son Jordan, 2 years old, and Andrea Yarrell, 24, and her daughter Charlii, just 4 month-old, who received several shots in the head and the torso, in an attack that took Indianapolis by storm. The men held in police custody at the moment are Dontae Hobson, 30, and Ronald Davis, also 30, both facing two counts of murder, felony murder, robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, and Zarumin Coleman, 21, who faces preliminary charges of conspiracy to commit robbery and assisting a criminal, and Jasper Frazier, 36, charged with attempt to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, who turned himself in to the Toledo Police days before the arrests were made. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |
Negro sentenced to death for slaughter of White 10-year-old girl and her family   A Tulsa man who was convicted last month of three murders in Owassowas formally sentenced to three death sentences. The Judge set an execution date for Clarence Goode Jr. Jurors found Goode, 31, guilty of first-degree murder in the shooting deaths of Kayla Burchett, 10, a Collinsville fifth-grader; her mother, Tara Burchett-Thompson, 25; and the slain woman's husband, Mitch Thompson, 28. Their bodies were found Aug. 26, 2005, at the couple's home. The jury imposed a death sentence on each murder count, and Goode received a concurrent 20-year term for first-degree burglary. He has maintained that he is innocent. Co-defendant Kenneth D. Johnson faces a Feb. 19 trial on the same charges. Mental testing ordered for black accused of sodomizing 82-year-old woman - Second 87-year-old victim A judge has ordered a new mental evaluation for Clayton Vines, a suspect in the abduction and sexual assault of an elderly Crestwood woman. Judge Randy Smith ordered Vines undergo the testing to determine his competency to stand trial and the degree of his mental retardation. Vines, 43, faces multiple counts of forcible sodomy, abduction, abduction with the intent to defile and commonlaw burglary. Black Nurse Accused Of Stealing From Elderly, Disabled, 87-year-old & 100-year-old  CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A nurse who was supposed to be taking care of the elderly and disabled is now charged with victimizing them. Last month investigators said Peggy Respass used credit card numbers belonging to some of her patients and said they were looking into more cases. On Monday they announced charges have been filed in four cases. Police said the in-home health care worker was hired to take care of Rosa McNeil and then tried to take her money. McNeil lost her eyesight to a tumor when she was just seven months old and over the last several years she’s lost her ability to care for herself. Mary Joyner, McNeil’s sister, discovered the theft when she went to pay McNeil’s bills. She found a check for $500 had been stolen and cashed. Police say Respass took McNeil’s money and also stole from three others, including a woman who is 87 years old and one who is 100. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |

Black Charged In White Boy's Death Takes Stand  JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- For the first time since his arrest, the man being held in connection with the death of a Jacksonville boy took the stand. Derrick Glover testified on Thursday during a pretrial hearing as lawyers attempted to have evidence tossed out.According to prosecutors, Glover gave a gun to 12-year-old Tony Youmans. They believe Youmans fatally shot himself while playing with the weapon.
The boy's body was found in a Westside field near his home in July. Glover was arrested in early August and is charged with manslaughter in Youmans' death. - (Newsroom) |
Wichita Black Pleads No Contest to Murder of 79-year-old White woman   The man accused of killing elderly community activist Evelyn Middlestadt has pleaded "no contest" to felony murder. Benjamin Fish will be sentenced in late March. Middlestadt was found dead in her Wichita business with bruises to her face and chest.
