Miami police hunting `terrible black rapist predator' A gun-wielding man kidnapped a tourist couple in downtown Miami Monday morning, raping the woman for 45 minutes before making the pair drive the streets looking for someone else to rob, police said. When the attacker spotted a potential victim walking the streets, he got out of their car and the couple sped off. ''We're looking for a terrible predator,'' said Miami Detective William Moreno, a spokesman. The attacker is described as a clean-shaven, slim black man in his 20s, about six-foot-two with bald or close-cropped hair. Washington State: Negro arrested for box-cutter rape of teen suspect in prior rape  Wash. --- A former Waterloo negro has been arrested in connection with a rape in the state of Washington, and authorities there have obtained evidence linking him to an unsolved 2004 sexual assault in Waterloo. Authorities in South Everett, Wash., had been searching for Larry Donnell Baker, 34, Wednesday in connection with an Aug. 19 rape in South Everett when he surrendered to a detective. The Aug. 19 incident happened when a 17-year-old girl was walking home from work. She was grabbed by a man armed with a knife and was taken to a nearby area where she was sexually assaulted. In another case, a 21-year-old woman went outside to start her car for work when a man in a passenger car pulled up to ask her for directions.
He then grabbed her and pulled her into his vehicle and drove a short distance to the area of the 200 block of Randolph Street where the attack took place. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |
North Little Rock Police Arrest Kashawnda Lynch In Overnight Homicide Just before 2:00 AM, North Little Rock officers responded to 1403 ½ Vine Street to investigate a possible assault. Upon arrival, officers found a black male victim, who has been identified as Holbert Chisim, suffering from a stab wound. Chisim, 28 years old of Little Rock, was transported to UAMS Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. A subsequent investigation has led to the arrest of Chisim’s fiancé, Kashawnda Lynch of Little Rock. Lynch, who was taken into custody at the scene of the incident, was transported to the North Little Rock Police Department Detective’s Division and later charged with second degree murder. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |

Black Armored Car Robbery Suspect Mustafa Ali Charged  Mustafa Ali previously served seven years in federal prison for bank robbery, the detective said. It was not clear if he had an attorney. "If he is the suspect that killed my husband, he hurt his own family too," Donna Alullo, the widow of slain guard Joseph Alullo, said after he was brought in for questioning. "We hope that it is the suspect ... so that he is off the street and doesn't do it to anyone else." Black Teen Shelwanda Riley Bites Officer, Officer Punches Back A Florida teen is facing serious charges after biting a police officer. 5-year-old Shelwanda Riley battery, resisting an officer and obstruction of justice. Her arresting officer's dashboard camera captured the violent confrontation during a July arrest for a curfew violation. Fort Pierce Police Chief Sean Baldwin says he believes his officer used the appropriate force when he punched the teenager and then used pepper spray after he was bitten by Riley. - (Newsroom) |
Police Kill Negro 'Deacon' Who Shot 5 at Law Firm ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) — Anger over a divorce settlement may have driven a 63-year-old Baptist deacon to shoot five people in a law office, killing two, then exchange gunfire with police during a standoff, authorities said Friday. A special tactical unit used explosives to enter the building shortly after midnight and shot John Ashley to death after he opened fire, police spokesman Sgt. Clifford Gatlin said. Autopsies were planned on the three victims, he said. Police said Ashley repeatedly shot at them during the 10-hour standoff Thursday, and even shot at a remote-controlled police robot they sent inside. No officers were hurt. "This is, it's a shock," Gatlin said. "It's big for us, because we know everybody." Ashley, a retired city maintenance worker, was found in the back of the office, which was converted from a single-story house. The two people police say he killed were found in the front of the building, where police rescued one of the three surviving victims Thursday afternoon. The other survivors escaped on their own. Authorities identified the dead as Camille "Joey" Giordano II, a 32-year-old assistant district attorney. The other person killed was Marty Thiels, 50, a postal worker delivering mail to the law firm. Giordano's father, attorney Camille Giordano, also was shot. He underwent surgery and was in critical condition Friday, a spokeswoman for Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital said. Also wounded, police say, were attorney Sam Charles Giordano, 49, and Andrea Fletcher Price, 27.
