  A gunman massacred 32 people at a US university, quarrelling with and slaying his girlfriend before calmy gunning down students and then taking his own life in the deadliest shooting rampage in US history. The gunman first killed his girlfriend after an argument in a student dormitory and then killed a dormitory supervisor, a fellow student said. Over two hours later, looking serious but calm and without uttering a word, the man stormed classrooms and massacred 30 more students before turning the gun on himself. Some of the survivors of the massacre at Virginia Tech described the gunman as "Asian-looking'' and the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper reported that police had identified him as a 24-year-old Chinese student who arrived in the United States last August on a visa issued in Shanghai. University president Charles Steger told CNN the gunman was an Asian male who was a student at the university and a dormitory resident, on Tuesday. Steger not did give the gunman's name.

Tulsa Oklahoma: Murder Suspect Arrested After North Tulsa Standoff - Crows assaults Police
A north Tulsa standoff ended with an arrest Saturday night. Nineteen-year-old Rico Starks surrendered to police shortly after 11 p.m. The standoff lasted about two hours at an apartment complex at the 2200 block of North Hartford. Starks is suspected of killing 18-year-old Mark Jordan. He's wanted for shooting with intent to kill and second-degree murder. He has been booked into Tulsa County Jail. Officers also had to deal with the crowd that gathered outside the complex. A shot was fired at officers from the crowd, and police cars were attacked. Reinforcements were called in to get the mob under control.
Suspect Arrested After Okla. Standoff
"They were met by a large group _ over 100 people _ that made an effort to assault officers by throwing rocks at their vehicles and the officers themselves," Walton said. "There were shots fired and the officers had their hands full trying to contain the crowd." - (Newsroom)

KOTV, channel 6, cameraman Dominic Armstrong, who was in the middle of the melee when it began, said he was standing next to a vehicle that was hit by shots fired from the crowd. He also said several people in the crowd grabbed a reporter from another television station by her hair and threw her to the ground.
