Suspect Accused Of Raping Teen Boys Indicted On 20 Counts A man accused in a series of rapes and sexual assaults involving teenage males was indicted Monday on 20 counts of rape, attempted rape, kidnapping, aggravated robbery, and gross sexual imposition. James Bohannon, 27, is accused in the sexual assaults of eight different teenage males starting in 2004. In all of the attacks, police said Bohannon used a handgun to threaten the victims and force them into secluded areas. The most recent cases occurred in September of this year. Bohannon was indicted in October for the 2004 rape of a 14-year-old male at Boldface Park on River Road. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |

Sports: Two Quinnipiac University basketballers have been arrested on charges they attacked a woman.  On October 19th a female student says two freshman basketball players, 18-year-olds Trevon Charles and James Feldeine, grabbed her by the arms, pushed her into one of the dorm's bathrooms and refused to let her leave. Police say, the young woman ran into the shower and turned on the water but Charles urinated on her leg. The student reported the incident to the resident assistant but then began getting harassing e-mails, and on Friday afternoon the two players were arrested by police in the athletic director's office. A girl now caught in the middle of a growing scandal. Because of the new state statute concerning bodily fluids, inspired by a UConn case where two students masturbated onto a sleeping female student, Charles is now charged with sexual assault, which carries a much steeper penalty and more damaging future repercussions. - (Newsroom) - (Sports) |
Garganus T. Moore guilty of rape, criminal deviate sexual behavior and criminal confinement  Moore's charges grew out of three days in March when he beat and sexually assaulted his then-girlfriend, keeping her a prisoner in her own apartment.
On the day his trial started, Moore pleaded guilty to battery, but he continued to deny the rape, deviate behavior and criminal confinement.The beating was the result of Moore's jealousy. He accused the victim and Moore's friend BJ of "eyeballing" each other. When he confronted the victim, he became angry and beat her. On the stand, Moore said the beating lasted only 15 minutes. The victim had said it lasted for hours and that Moore became exhausted from hitting her and had to stop and rest occasionally. - (crime) |

A teacher at a small private school in the El Cerrito hills was jailed last week on suspicion of molesting a student, police disclosed over the weekend.
