Firefighter Pablo Nieves. accuses of raping a girl under the age of 11
A Rochester City Firefighter known for his work honoring the victims of September 11th is charged with several counts of rape. On Monday, a grand jury unsealed an indictment against 39-year-old Pablo Nieves. He is facing three counts of rape: one in each the first, second and third degree. According to the indictment, the first-degree rape charge accuses him of having sex with a girl under the age of 11. He's accused of raping a girl under 15 in 2001.  He's then accused of raping a girl under 17 two years later. Nieves is a pastor here at the Pathways to Life Ministries - (crime)

  Two black men in Westchester County are under arrest and charged with tying up and torturing two other men who they thought stole money from them. One of the victims was shot in the chest, the other burned with a blow torch. Police say the torture went on for several hours with two men tied up in a Mt. Vernon house, where they were burned, beaten and shot with a BB gun. According to police, suspects Robert Walker and Kevin Cleary grabbed the victims because they mistakenly believed the men had stolen tens of thousands of dollars from inside the home. At one point, one victim had a butane blow torch held to his genital area. (FOLEY, Ala.) Sept. 25 -- In the middle of a local WalMart, police say a man relieved himself sexually, on a young girl and then runs off. It happened at the WalMart Supercenter off Highway 59 in Foley. Police are now searching for the suspect they believe may have acted out before. Taken in a crowded WalMart store in Foley, a surveillance video depicts a man in a green shirt, lingering on the right side of the screen. He's not shopping, he's stalking. Police say he's fondling himself as he watches a 13-year-old girl across the isle and out of the camera's view. After a while, investigators say he crosses the isle to violate the unsuspecting teen in an unimaginable way. Sergeant Tony Fuqua with the Foley Police Department describes what happened: “Then he went over to her and relieved himself sexually on the outer clothing of the 13-year-old.” The man, described as Hispanic with bushy hair, is seen in the surveillance tape walking out of the store after the incident.   - (Newsroom)  Citizenship status of suspect unknown

Hispanic tries to rape 14-year-old girl - Salem Girl Escapes Rape Attempt
SALEM, Ore. - A 14-year-old girl narrowly escaped a rape attempt near her home. But she's not sleeping easily, because the would-be rapist is still out there somewhere. The girl had an argument with her parents, and walked out of her Northwest Salem home to spend the night at a friend's house. She didn't get far. As she was walking under a nearby railroad trestle at Portland Avenue, a man approached her inside the tunnel-like structure. Her attacker is described as a hispanic male, 25 to 30 years old, about five feet 10 inches tall, with a mustache and short hair. South San Francisco: Hispanic man tried to rape a woman in a restroom
Authorities on Tuesday released a sketch of the man they said tried to rape a woman in a public bathroom. South San Francisco police said the man crawled underneath the locked door of the woman's stall at Orange Memorial Park on Sunday at 8 a.m. The victim resisted the suspect's attempts to cover her mouth and to restrain her and made her way outside the restroom, police said. Once outside, she called the police on her cellular phone. The man fled the area and was last seen running toward Orange Avenue, the police reported. Investigators said they hope the sketch will help them find the man. Police described the attacker as a Hispanic man in his late 30s with short dark hair. Police said the victim described the suspect as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 170 pounds with short black hair. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, according to police.
