Former Dallas city commissioner arrested at male strip club
D'Angelo Lee,A key target in the FBI's Dallas City Hall corruption investigation was arrested early Sunday morning for public intoxication at a male strip club in northwest Dallas. D'Angelo Lee, the embattled former city plan commissioner, said he went to Knubian Fantasiez to "pick up women" when things turned bad. Lee said men at the male all-nude strip club jumped him and began beating him up. He said the three men were naked, or barely clothed; and when the fight was over they stole his crocodile skin wallet he said was worth $15,000. However, police said no one they talked to at the club would corroborate his robbery story. Police investigating the robbery said Lee had bloodshot eyes, smelled of alcohol and then they said he became a threat. "He refused to leave, so officer's placed him under arrest," Lt. Watson said. Later at the city's detox center, Lee allegedly threatened a female employee saying, "That's all right. I'm going to get you." - (Newsroom) - (crime)

Frank MeltonJACKSON, Miss. -- Among the counts now faced by the mayor, Frank Melton, are burglary, malicious mischief, illegally carrying a gun and causing a minor to commit a felony. The most serious of the charges against him carry sentences of up to 25 years. Some of the charges stem from a sheriff’s investigation of the night of Aug. 26, when the home of Evans Welch, a man with a history of mental illness and petty crimes, was attacked by a sledgehammer-wielding group of young men without warning or permit. Witnesses said Mr. Melton, who often patrols the city at night with the police and a group of teenage followers, had directed the demolition of the house. - (Newsroom) - (crime)

  • Roman Catholic Priests Hear Victims' Tales of Sodomite Abuse
WYNNEWOOD, Pa. -- Monsignor David Benz listened in anguish as a woman described how a parish priest sexually abused her two sons with the same hands he used to consecrate the body and blood of Christ. The woman's tale came in a meeting called by Cardinal Justin Rigali, who summoned hundreds of Roman Catholic priests in the Philadelphia Archdiocese to hear from the victims of clergy sex abuse. The victims offered sometimes graphic accounts of molestation and rape. "It was like sticking a knife in my heart," said Benz, 63, of St. Philomena church in Lansdowne.

  • Sodomy Is A Crime- by Jim Rudd
After confronting people out on the street with what the Word of God says and then reading what is happening in the news, I have to ask the question, "Why are the pro-family groups having such a hard time discussing the crime of sodomy?" What has become evident to me is the fact that most of these groups do not publicly address sodomy as a crime and then demand that our civil authorities arrest, prosecute, and punish the sodomites.
