Black salesman gets more than 30 years in prison for violent rape of Portland woman in her home Door-to-door magazine salesman David Samuel Washington has never admitted he burst into a Sellwood woman’s home and raped her, even though a sexual-assault exam of the victim turned up his DNA. Although a Circuit judge found him guilty he also didn’t show any remorse during his sentencing hearing — making the judge’s decision that much easier. Judge Karin Immergut sentenced him to 30½ years in prison. That’s more than triple the sentence defense attorneys had argued for. During trial last month, Immergut found that Washington, 29, showed up on the doorstep then forced his way into a woman’s home in October 2005. He dragged the woman upstairs to a more secluded area of the home and raped her. He also stuffed a glove in her mouth to muffle her screams, punched her in the stomach, slapped her in the face and choked her to the point where she blacked out. He threatened to kill the woman if she reported the incident to police. - (Black rapes) |
Black beats, rapes college student and left her bound on bed Almost a decade and a half after a 24-year-old woman was beaten and raped at her Dunwoody condo, a man is headed to prison for the vicious attack. 48-year-old Raoul Lynch, was convicted on charges of rape, aggravated assault, kidnapping with bodily injury and burglary and immediately sentenced to two consecutive life sentences, plus 60 years in prison. The incident occurred on June 6, 1995. The woman was returning home from her night classes when Lynch attacked her as she unlocked her door. She was beaten, choked, bound and blindfolded by Lynch, who then raped the woman for nearly six hours. He then ripped the phone cord out of the wall, bound her to a bed, and covered her with blankets and stuffed animals. - (Black rapes) |
Black disabled Vietnam Vet charged with abduction and rape  A disabled Vietnam Vet is in jail accused of holding a woman against her will and raping her at knife point. 61-year-old Otis Alexander is charged with rape, forcible sodomy, abduction and drug possession. The woman said Alexander kept her captive for 19 hours. I spoke with her by phone. She said Otis Alexander attacked her inside a shed behind his mother's house. Black with history of assaults convicted in '05 rape at school  A man with a history of violence against women was convicted of raping a woman at an east Charlotte middle school after DNA linked him to the case three years after the attack. In the early evening on Sept. 4, 2005, a woman in her 50s was walking on the track at Eastway Middle School. A man grabbed her and then raped her on the bleachers, prosecutors said. There were no solid leads in the case until 41-year-old Darryl Thompson was arrested in 2008 on an unrelated rape charge. Thompson's DNA was then linked to the 2005 case. - (Black rapes) |
Raleigh black charged with child rape A Raleigh man is in the Wake County jail accused of raping a child under the age of 13. Poilce charged Samuel Lamont Richardson, 27, with one count of first degree rape of a child, two counts of first degree sex offense with a child, and two counts of indecent liberties with a child. Warrants indicate the encounters occurred over a three-and-a-half year period beginning in December of 2006, and ending in June of 2010. - (Black rapes) |
Black sexually assaults sleeping woman A Waco man is locked up after sexually assaulting a woman while she was sleeping. The incident supposedly occurred back in February when Trence Kelvin Hilliard, 21, was watching a movie with the victim. After taking a sleeping pill the woman fell asleep, and later moved to the bedroom. Upon waking up she then asked Hilliard, according to a police affidavit, if they had sex. He responded that he had sex, but she did not. - (Black rapes) |
Black nabbed for masterbating on 74-year-old woman's porch A woman caught a man masturbating on her front porch early Sunday morning, police said. The incident happened around 6:30 a.m. when the 74-year-old woman first heard a noise at her window and then "heard someone tampering with her front door." The woman got out of bed and "looked out her window it appeared the suspect was pleasuring himself on her porch." The woman called 911 and gave police a denoscription of the suspect. According to the search warrant, police identified the suspect as Gary Bernard Bynum. - (Black rapes) |
Mother, brother rescue girl from attack from black male A young girl, attacked in her own room by a stranger, is alive thanks to her mother and her brother. Patrick Odum, 41, is charged with aggravated sexual battery after police say he sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl. "I got a 8-year-old grandbaby, and she be out here," said a neighbor, Laura McLeod. "That could've been her. If he doing something like that, he needs to be in jail." Black sought for raping a 13-year-old girl  Cumberland County Sheriff's detectives were searching Friday for a Sampson County man accused of raping a 13-year-old girl. Tyler Jamarr Wortham, 26, is wanted on multiple counts of statutory rape, taking indecent liberties with a minor, crimes against nature and statutory sex offense. Wortham forced the girl to take money from an ATM and then drove her to a motel in Fayetteville. The girl told police she was forced to engage in sexual acts with Wortham on Wednesday and Thursday. Black mother Lashandra Armstrong kills self, 3 kids by driving van into Hudson River Some quick thinking from 10-year-old Lashaun Armstrong saved his own life Tuesday night, but he could not get help quickly enough to save the lives of his three siblings or his mother, who drove the family minivan into the Hudson River just before 8 p.m. Lashaun escaped out a window after his mother, Lashanda Armstrong, 25, drove the car down the boat launch with four kids aboard, reportedly following a domestic disturbance. DNA ties black man to 2004 Md. rape DNA taken from a man after a conviction in Tennessee has tied him to the 2004 rape of a 16-year-old girl in Maryland. NaJarred T. Walker is charged with attacking the girl under a bridge near a Frederick park on Nov. 1, 2004, according to Frederick police. He allegedly threatened the girl, telling her not to scream, then sexually assaulted her. The victim went to a hospital, where authorities obtained a DNA sample. - (Black rapes) |
Black man charged with rape of girl who went missing Toledo police charged a 49-year-old man Wednesday with one count of rape involving a 14-year-old developmentally disabled girl. Ricky Jamison, of 4285 Keygate Dr., Apt. 103, was arrested in the morning by members of the special victim’s unit and the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force. Investigation continues in San Diego Asian woman's murder in Texas by black male  Authorities are continuing their investigation into the murder in Texas of a San Diego mother of three. Kimberly Maokhamphiou, a mother of three was visiting relatives in Haltom City. Authorities said she was shot as she cleaned out her SUV just prior to 9 a.m. in the complex's parking lot. According to witnesses, the victim was approached by a black male about 5'7" and wearing a blue hooded jacket with a star on it. The man fired one single shot and fled the scene in a blue, mid-90s Crown Victoria that was said to have "bondo repair putty on the back right quarter panel." (Hispanic black) stabs white girlfriend to death - nearly decapitates  A 23 year-old woman was murdered in a Lower East Side apartment early Sunday - her head nearly decapitated - after a heated argument with her boyfriend, police and witnesses said. Sarah Coit was heard arguing with her beau, Raul Barrera, 33, about 2:15 a.m., shortly before she was viciously stabbed in her apartment, cops and neighbors said. "Her whole neck was cut all the way," said Briana Andalore, 20, who lives downstairs from the blood-stained apartment and saw the young woman get hauled away on a stretcher. Black South African Immigrant charged with murder of White Akron bank executive  Akron police said a South African immigrant with a theology degree has confessed to the murder of a FirstMerit bank executive. Muziwokuthula Madonda, 33, is charged with the aggravated murder of 60-year-old Jacquelyn Hilder, a bank vice president who was shot twice during a robbery at her condominium on Hampton Ridge Drive in Akron in February. White female honor student killed in shooting by black male  Jeremony Osborn, 25, was jailed after the fatal incident. He surrendered to police after he was identified as a suspect. Osborn is in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center charged with second-degree murder. Kasey Ragan was a sophomore psychology major and honor roll student at NSU. (Black) Lawn Man On Trial In 82-year-old Woman's Killing  The trial for a lawn maintenance man accused of killing an 82-year-old woman in December 2009 began. Cecil King is charged with murder in the death of Renie Bain, whose home he serviced. Bain's family members found her beaten to death in her home. Prosecutors said the evidence against King rapidly piled up in the days following Bain's death. That evidence included video from a pawn shop, which prosecutors said shows King selling a bracelet stolen from Bain's home the day she was killed. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |

Nathan Anderson, was convicted of murder, burglary, abuse of a corpse in the October 2007 slaying of Jane Pepper, 44, at her apartment. Anderson was taken into custody after a national DNA database matched him to evidence collected during the investigation of the killing. Investigators said Anderson confessed to killing Pepper. Judge overrules jury - black gets death for kidnap and murder of Auburn freshman girl   A judge on Wednesday overrode the unanimous recommendation of jurors and sentenced a man to die for the slaying of an Auburn University freshman who was abducted at gunpoint, fatally shot and left to die on a rural road. Lee County Circuit Judge Jacob Walker imposed the sentence on Courtney Lockhart, 26, who was convicted of capital murder last year in the 2008 killing of Lauren Burk, 18, of Marietta, Ga. The jury voted 12-0 to recommend a sentence of life without parole for Lockhart, but the judge has the final say under Alabama law. Lawmen arrest (black) Polk Co. suspect in murder of White woman  The Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man suspected of killing a Polk County woman in December. Cordell Renard Green, 22, is charged with murder. Green was located Sunday night and arrested. Green is charged in connection to the death of Heather Dorris, 25. Green has a violent past, including charges of armed robbery. Black woman arrested for kidnap, murder and burning of body of 12-year-old White boy  Police say a 44-year-old woman charged with capital murder in the kidnapping and death of a 12-year-old Houston boy admitted to discarding a body, but said she didn’t kill the child. Mona Yvette Nelson, a maintenance worker for several area apartment complexes, was arrested and charged on Wednesday. Investigators believe she kidnapped, killed and burned the body of Jonathan Foster on Christmas Eve. Foster had been left alone at his mother’s apartment while she and her roommate worked that day.
