Black arrested for rape of 11-year-old girl he was 'babysitting' A Mansfield man was indicted for having sex with an 11-year-old girl left in his care, and today DeSoto sheriff’s investigators arrested a relative of the alleged victim for not reporting the incident and threatening a witness, authorities said. Chad Watson, 27, remains in jail following his indictment on one count of aggravated rape. His girlfriend, Ponda Jackson, 34, of Mansfield, who is also the victim’s aunt, was booked into the DeSoto Detention Center today on one count each of principal to aggravated rape and obstruction of justice. - (Black rapes) - (Newsroom) |
Immokalee black charged with sexual battery on girl under 12 An Immokalee man is being held in the Collier County Jail on a charge of sexual battery on a girl under 12. Madel Julian, 52, faces life in prison if convicted. Julian was arrested after the girl told a teacher that he had sexually battered her, arrest reports state. Detectives took DNA samples and other evidence in the case. Julian denied the allegations. He was arrested Friday. - (Black rapes) |
Police Arrest Black in Crocker Amazon Park Rape SFPD made an arrest yesterday in the rape of a female jogger in Crocker Amazon Park on Friday afternoon. San Francisco resident Xavier Neal, 18, allegedly grabbed the 38-year-old victim (jogging near the basketball court just above the soccer field) from behind, forced her into the grass, and then sexually assaulted her. Harrisburg police arrest black suspect Yusuf Mahamud in January rape police say an investigation of a reported rape from January has led to the arrest of 21-year-old Yusuf Mahamud. A 23-year-old Steelton woman reported the rape on Jan. 16 after she said she went to bed with a man she knew at a party in the 1600 block of State Street and woke up to a stranger sexually assaulting her. She told police she fought off the man, was helped home and went to a local hospital. The suspect was later identified as Mahamud. - (Black rapes) |

White female honor student killed in shooting by black male Jeremony Osborn, 25, was jailed after the fatal incident. He surrendered to police after he was identified as a suspect. Osborn is in the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center charged with second-degree murder. Kasey Ragan was a sophomore psychology major and honor roll student at NSU. (Black) Lawn Man On Trial In 82-year-old Woman's Killing The trial for a lawn maintenance man accused of killing an 82-year-old woman in December 2009 began. Cecil King is charged with murder in the death of Renie Bain, whose home he serviced. Bain's family members found her beaten to death in her home. Prosecutors said the evidence against King rapidly piled up in the days following Bain's death. That evidence included video from a pawn shop, which prosecutors said shows King selling a bracelet stolen from Bain's home the day she was killed. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |
(Black) Woman Targeted, Robbed Elderly A Greenville woman is accused of robbing three elderly people, two of whom have dementia and another who uses a walker to get around. Police said Suzette Williams, 45, stole money and jewelry from the homes of the two women and one man during February. The police report said that Williams would use various excuses to get into the victims’ homes. Investigators said in one case, Williams tried to get a woman to drive to a bank to withdraw cash. Greenville police investigators said that Williams served four years in prison and is on probation for similar crimes. - (Newsroom) |

Sex With Corpse A man was convicted Friday in the grisly murder of a woman in her Broad Ripple apartment in 2007. Nathan Anderson, was convicted of murder, burglary, abuse of a corpse in the October 2007 slaying of Jane Pepper, 44, at her apartment. Anderson was taken into custody after a national DNA database matched him to evidence collected during the investigation of the killing. Investigators said Anderson confessed to killing Pepper. Durham County jail officials said that Crystal Mangum was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. Nicholas Cyrus Lohar, 31, was charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He's being held on $150,000 bond. Black university student charged with raping woman in dorm after midnight Police arrested a 19-year-old Averett University student from Myrtle Beach, S.C., after another student reported a rape early Saturday morning. The victim told police another student sexually assaulted her in a residence hall room on the Averett campus after midnight Saturday. New Orleans police release sketch of (black) man wanted in rape under highway New Orleans police have released a composite sketch of a man wanted in an aggravated rape that took place Monday under the Pontchartrain Expressway. The man allegedly lured the victim under the expressway, near the intersection of Earhart Boulevard and Simon Bolivar Avenue, in the early morning. He then pulled out a knife and raped her, NOPD said. John Moon A Tuskegee University police officer charged in October 2009 with the rape of a 15-year-old pleaded guilty Wednesday, according to a news release from the Alabama Department of Public Safety. John Moon, 47, pleaded guilty to second-degree rape, first-degree sodomy and enticing a child for immoral purposes, the release states. (Black) "Westside Rapist" gets life for Calif. killings A man accused of being the "Westside Rapist" who terrified Los Angeles County in the 1970s and 1980s with a series of sexual killings has been sentenced to life in prison. Prosecutors say 74-year-old John Floyd Thomas pleaded guilty Friday to seven counts of first-degree murder with special circumstances and was sentenced to seven life terms — one of them without the chance of parole. Based on new DNA testing, Thomas was charged in 2009 with being the "Westside Rapist" who entered the homes of middle-aged and elderly women, then raped and choked them. Judge overrules jury - black gets death for kidnap and murder of Auburn freshman girl A judge on Wednesday overrode the unanimous recommendation of jurors and sentenced a man to die for the slaying of an Auburn University freshman who was abducted at gunpoint, fatally shot and left to die on a rural road. Lee County Circuit Judge Jacob Walker imposed the sentence on Courtney Lockhart, 26, who was convicted of capital murder last year in the 2008 killing of Lauren Burk, 18, of Marietta, Ga. The jury voted 12-0 to recommend a sentence of life without parole for Lockhart, but the judge has the final say under Alabama law. Lawmen arrest (black) Polk Co. suspect in murder of White woman The Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man suspected of killing a Polk County woman in December. Cordell Renard Green, 22, is charged with murder. Green was located Sunday night and arrested. Green is charged in connection to the death of Heather Dorris, 25. Green has a violent past, including charges of armed robbery. Black woman arrested for kidnap, murder and burning of body of 12-year-old White boy Police say a 44-year-old woman charged with capital murder in the kidnapping and death of a 12-year-old Houston boy admitted to discarding a body, but said she didn’t kill the child. Mona Yvette Nelson, a maintenance worker for several area apartment complexes, was arrested and charged on Wednesday. Investigators believe she kidnapped, killed and burned the body of Jonathan Foster on Christmas Eve. Foster had been left alone at his mother’s apartment while she and her roommate worked that day.
