Texas Executes Convicted (Black) Rapist-Murderer HUNTSVILLE, Texas -- A prisoner who had threatened to harm corrections officers before his execution was put to death Wednesday evening for the rape and fatal shooting of a woman during a break-in at her home nearly 10 years ago. Kenneth Parr , 27, was just days past his 18th birthday Jan. 21, 1998, when authorities said he and a younger half brother kicked in the door of 30-year-old Linda Malek, robbed the place, then raped her and shot her in the head while she was in bed with her two young children. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |
Black New Orleans DA Loses Appeal in racist case of his firing White employees NEW ORLEANS - The New Orleans district attorney lost his fight Wednesday against a ruling that said he violated the civil rights of dozens of white employees when he fired them after taking office in 2003 and replaced them with black workers. Orleans Parish prosecutor Eddie Jordan claimed he filled key positions with political supporters and did not discriminate based on race when he took over from longtime District Attorney Harry Connick Sr. in 2003; he fired 53 of 77 employees. In his appeal, Jordan had argued that jurors did not have enough evidence to reach that conclusion in 2005. - (Newsroom) |

Black arrested for murder of White woman ELPASO, TX - U.S. Marshals arrested the man who allegedly killed an El Paso woman in Phoenix, Arizona. 34-year-old Ronald Thompson is in Maricopa Jail in Phoenix and is awaiting extradition to El Paso. Thompson is wanted in connection with 29-year-old Haley Michelle Welsh-Chan's murder. Welsh-Chan was found dead in her apartment on the 2400 block of Red Sails last week. El Paso Police identified Thompson as the suspect to the public but notified the U.S. Marshals of the lead days before. Thompson was captured during a traffic stop and is now in jail for violating probation but will now have to face murder charges in El Paso. - (Newsroom) - (crime) - (Black-on-white) |
Black fag boy scout leader turns himself in COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. A Boy Scout leader has turned himself into El Paso County authorities to face charges of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of authority. Johnny Ray Barmore, 34, a leader in Boy Scout Troop 375, is being held on $10,000 bond. Police records indicated Barmore and a 13-year-old boy in his troop went to Barmore's house at 9403 Daystar Terrace in unincorporated El Paso County on June 12 and watched pornographic material and engaged in sex acts. HIV-infected Negro faces 61 counts related to teen boys - More young victims could emerge in sex case HIV-positive man faces 61 counts Iinvestigators believe other young victims will be discovered as the case proceeds against an HIV-positive man now facing 61 counts of sex-related charges. The charges involve several minors. Maurice Carter, 44, , is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with at least one teenage boy from Rutherford County at that time. Carter faces 43 similar felony counts for alleged relationships with several boys in Smith County. Ex-boyfriend sought in arson-related homicide - one woman burned to death another set on fire An arson-related homicide on the city's north side early Saturday morning. A man is accused of killing one woman and critically injuring another by throwing gasoline on them and setting them on fire at an apartment building in the 6900 block of N. 60th St. The homicide victim and the suspect had a relationship, according to police. The injured victim has burns over 70-percent of her body. The rest of the apartment building residents had to be evacuated. The fire caused 50-thousand dollars in damage. Foster Parent Indicted on Teen Rape Charges A Grand Jury today indicted a man accused of raping teenage girls over a period of six years. 40 year old Michael Chinn faces 14 counts of gross sexual imposition and 10 counts of rape. Court documents say Chinn's eight victims include two family members. They allege the attacks happened between 1995 and 2001. Chinn was a foster parent... a 17 year old foster son was removed from the home when these allegations first surfaced. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |
Sex offender faces life for raping girl, 12 A high-risk sex offender was convicted yesterday of kidnapping a 12-year-old Brooklyn girl and sexually molesting her at an Ardsley motel. William Davis, 46, was the first Westchester defendant found guilty of predatory sexual assault and predatory sexual assault against a child, laws enacted in New York last year that are the only sex crimes in the state that carry a potential life sentence in prison. He took her to the Ardsley Acres Motel, where he raped and sodomized her, made her perform oral sex and forced her to shower off evidence of the abuse. She testified about telling Davis that she was just a young child when he said he wanted to make love to her and demanded she take off her clothes. Orlando woman raped by black named "Cycle Walker" An Orlando man is under arrest, charged with raping a woman as she got off a Lynx bus. The victim told Orange County deputies she was approached by Cycle Walker, 22, near South Park Circle. The victim said Walker implied that he had a gun, and forced her into a nearby wooded area where he sexually battered her. When she got to work, the victim told her supervisor what happened. With the help of sheriff's deputies, they were able to locate Walker. |
Rape suspect investigated for second assault A man who is awaiting trial for kidnapping a rape in Albuquerque will have to give a DNA sample to Minneapolis police who are investigating a sexual assault in that city. Lewis Byrd, 29, is alleged to have met a woman in an Albuquerque bar last year before driving her to a dark street where he made advances. After those advances were rejected, the woman told police that Byrd “produced a silver and black handgun and placed it against her temple.” The woman was later able to get escape from the car and call police. Byrd was found passed out in his front yard with a handgun in his car and semen on his car seat. Now Minneapolis police are eyeing Byrd for a rape there that occurred two years ago. Albuquerque police are looking into the possibility that Byrd may have sexually assaulted other women in this community and are asking any victims to come forward. - (Newsroom) |
Homeless black arrested on rape charge OCALA - Ocala police arrested a 42-year-old homeless man and charged him with armed sexual battery. The victim, who is also homeless, told police she was in the woods when a man approached her. The 46-year-old woman told police the man, later identified as Michael B. Kineard, approached her from behind and pushed her down. He then reportedly picked up her knife, put it against her throat and threatened to kill her. Kineard is then accused of raping and molesting the woman and telling her not to report the incident or else he would kill her. Police: "Christian" Boot Camp - Girl dragged with van by black pastor Texas - Authorities charged the director of a Christian boot camp and an employee with dragging a 15-year-old girl behind a van after she fell behind the group during a morning run. Rev. Charles Eugene Flowers and Stephanie Bassitt of San Antonio-based Love Demonstrated Ministries, a 32-day boot camp for at-risk teens, are accused of tying the girl to the van with a rope June 12 and dragging her, according to an arrest affidavit filed Wednesday. - (Newsroom) - (Black-on-white) |

It happened just before 8:00 p.m. last night. In the home police found 64 year old Ethel Evers, and 57 year old Royce Lloyd, both dead of gunshots wounds. Who could do such a thing to innocent people?" Police arrested 28 year old Antonio Demond Evers. Ethel Evers is his grandmother. Evers admitted firing shots at the home. - (Newsroom) - (crime) |
