Police: Black Jamaican Migrant Sniper Punk Malvo Confessed to Killing White Man on Arizona Golf Course
  Police said Friday that Lee Boyd Malvo tearfully confessed that he and John Allen Muhammad were responsible for killing 60-year-old Jerry R. Taylor on a golf course in Tucson. Witz said she long suspected the pair were responsible, though they had never been conclusively linked to the death. With her approval, Tucson police interviewed Malvo for two hours Thursday in Maryland after granting him immunity from prosecution, Capt. Bill Richards said.  One of the two snipers who murdered 10 people in a killing spree that terrorised Washington has revealed their plans to kill hundreds of children, policemen and rescue workers in an attempt to shut down cities across the country. John Allen Muhammad, 45, and his accomplice, Lee Boyd Malvo, 21, brought America's capital to a standstill in 2002 as they picked off white targets at petrol stations and shops in the city's prosperous suburbs. Malvo testified that Muhammad, driven by hatred of America because of its "slavery, hypocrisy and foreign policy" and his belief that "the white man is the devil", planned to kill six whites a day for 30 days. Malvo alleged that Muhammad had said: "We are going to go to the Washington DC area and we are going to terrorise these people." |
CENTENNIAL, Colo. -- A 32-year-old man convicted of using his youthful looks to befriend and sexually assault teens was sentenced to 508 years in prison Monday. Authorities said Zuri-Kye McGhee targeted 18 boys and one girl between ages 13 and 15. His 54-year-old mother is accused of helping him in some cases by introducing him to families with young children, and she is scheduled to stand trial in February. - (Newsroom) - (crime) 
Chicago police said a man followed a woman victim off a CTA train early Saturday, grabbed her from behind, took her property and sexually assaulted her. The attack happened at 3 a.m. in the 3500 block of North Wilton Avenue. Sunday, police released a composite sketch of the offender, described as a black male in his early 30s with medium complexion, approximately 6 feet 3 inches tall and 200-to-215 pounds. He had short, black, cropped hair, brown eyes and a tattoo on the right side of his neck. The man was last seen wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt that said "America" on the front, and baggy blue jeans, police said. N.Y. Two teenagers accused of using a plumbing snake to brutally assault a developmentally disabled handyman pleaded not guilty Friday to the recently enacted crime of predatory sexual assault. Steven Rodriguez, 19, and Michael Lunsford, 17, both of Shirley, were each held on $1 million bail. The two were arrested last week for allegedly accosting the 21-year-old man on Oct. 15 in the bathroom of the AMF Bowling Centers' Shirley Lanes, where he worked. One of the attackers, who police said had been bullying the victim for several years, twisted the snake so far into his rectum that it had to be removed during a surgical procedure that took several hours. Both teens are accused of twisting the snake during the attack, Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said. The longtime prosecutor called this "one of the worst" crimes he has ever seen. 
The Waltham teacher accused of sexually assaulting three of his students, appeared in Middlesex Superior Court yesterday, one of just three places he is allowed to be under court-imposed house arrest. Robert Dacey, 49, a former McDevitt Middle School drama teacher and Waltham High School coach, pleaded not guilty to 17 charges alleging he raped, assaulted and enticed two currents students and a former student between 1998 and November 2004. Dacey, who was expected to teach drama at the high school this year, was arrested at his Main Street home in August. He was indicted by a Middlesex grand jury in September, and charged with eight counts of rape of a child, rape, four counts of indecent assault and battery on a person over 14, two counts of inducing a person under 18 to have sexual intercourse, and two counts of enticement of a child.
