Sexual predator on parole accused of rape, kidnapping Cincinnati police are searching today for a sexual predator on parole who is accused of kidnapping and raping two 17-year-old girls Monday at knifepoint. Keith Mustin, 23, is charged with two counts of rape, two counts of kidnapping and one count of felonious assault. One of the teens was cut with the knife during the assault. Mustin was released from the Southern Ohio Correction Facility in Lucasville on November 15 after serving four years and 10 months of a five-year prison sentence. He was convicted of two counts of attempted rape in 1999 for trying to force a 21-year-old woman and 14-year-old girl into having sex with him after meeting them at a library. |

Family of White Man Gunned Down in "Thrill Kill" by TB and Jamar Speak Out A family tries to make sense of their loved one's murder, something police are calling a "thrill kill." Police say John McCoy was gunned down in cold blood Monday night. While the two suspects sit behind bars Friday night, the McCoy family prepares to say their final goodbyes. The family says they are getting their strength from John McCoy's 10-year-old daughter Marissa. McCoy had no chance Monday night when police say Terrence Bowser and Jamar Green pulled up beside his car and opened fire. The men told police they wanted to see what it was like to kill someone. Richland Co. Magistrate Suspended for asking colleague to lower bond for a relative later convicted of murdering his wife COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - The state Supreme Court has suspended a Richland County magistrate for 30 days after concluding he asked a colleague to lower bond for a relative later convicted of murder. The justices say Magistrate Clemon Stocker asked Richland County Magistrate Clevette Hudnell to give a cousin a low bond in an assault case in 2001. The cousin's wife was killed five days after the bond was paid in the unrelated case. Willie Earl Reese was eventually convicted of murder and sentenced to 35 years in prison in the death of Teresa Joyner Reese. - (Brewski) |

Boyfriend Charged in Woman's Death A 34 year-old Roseland, Louisiana, man has been arrested for the Saturday shooting death of a McComb, Mississippi, woman. McComb Police say Shaunta Ardillo, 25, was shot at least five times through the right window of a Ford Expedition in a parking lot in McComb after a domestic dispute over the weekend.Louisiana police arrested Alanza "Henry" James, 34, Sunday night for the murder of Ardillo. McComb investigators say Ardillo had been living in McComb for only a few months but had recently been fired from her job at a tanning studio. James had been fired recently from a McComb auto dealership. The shooting occurred in a church parking lot behind a rooming house where Ardillo lived at 411-1/2 Delaware Avenue at about 1:50 p.m. Saturday. She was found in a 1998 white Ford Expedition, shot to death, Saturday evening. Police say Ardillo was the mother of four children under the age of nine. Police Warn Of HIV-Infected, Predatory Sex Offender
PORTLAND -- Police want women to know about a predatory sex offender recently released from prison. Kenneth Miller is living at in transitional housing in downtown Portland. The 35-year-old has a history of unprotected sex with women and girls, intentionally exposing them to HIV. His youngest victim is 15, and one woman has tested HIV-positive. "His parole conditions prohibit him from having unprotected sex with anyone who is not HIV infected," He is also prohibited from contact with minors and from entering bars or taverns.
