Search for man suspected of beating and sexually assaulting an 89-year-old woman Investigators have been frustrated in their search for a man suspected of beating and sexually assaulting an 89-year-old woman. Authorities have had arrest warrants for Sidney Wayne Howell ever since an armed robbery in April, but he was not a top priority until he became the suspect in the attack on the woman in her Norcross home. Howell was stopped in the victim’s car shortly after the attack, but fled, police said. Authorities believe Howell, a homeless man with a lengthy criminal record, is bouncing from abandoned homes to shelters to the woods. - (Aryan Barbarian) |
Ex-jail guard sentenced for having sex with four female inmates under his supervision A former Allegheny County Jail guard was sentenced Tuesday to 10 to 28 years in prison for having sex with four female inmates under his supervision. "You told each of these women they were different, that they were special, that if you were their boyfriend you'd take care of them," Common Pleas Judge Donna Jo McDaniel told LeShawn Walker. "And then you abused them, not only physically, but you abused them mentally." McDaniel sentenced Walker, 33, of Duquesne, to four consecutive prison terms of 2 1/2 to 7 years for his convictions on four counts of institutional sexual assault. - (JesseGibson) |
Veteran Chicago Cop Charged With Murder, Murder For Hire - (reader link)  CHICAGO -- A 14-year veteran Chicago police officer is charged with first-degree murder in the death of a 35-year-old man on the South Side, officials said Friday. Edward Leak, 42, was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Fred Hamilton, 35, fatally shot at 7947 S. Prairie Ave. on Feb. 3, 2004. Leak, a Central District officer since November 1991, is the third man charged in the crime, and is accused of hiring two other men to carry out the slaying. Leak is the nephew of the owner of the Leak Funeral Home on the South Side. The victim worked as a limousine driver at that funeral home. Leak was stripped of his police star. |
Nashville: Black gunman shoots White police officer   Thursday morning 33 year-old Metro Police Officer Daniel Alford was shot in north Nashville while trying to apprehend a suspect. Officer Alford was shot around 11:45 a.m. while working routine drug enforcement. The suspects fled and the officer gave chase. The suspects fled into a vacant apartment building. Police cleared the first floor then went to the second floor. In a bedroom of a second floor apartment the officers found one of the suspects, 21 year-old MarShawn L. Serial Rapist Suspect Caught - Those Who Knew Young Surprised by Rape Charges Chief Dan Flynn of the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department announced that Ron Young, 23, of Savannah has been arrested in connection with several rapes. "The charges in this case are the result of an extensive investigation spanning a series of brutal rapes throughout Chatham, Bryan, Beaufort, and Colleton Counties," Chief Flynn said. Man Convicted of Deviant Sexual Assault of Woman Clerk LIBERTY, Mo. (AP ) -- Jurors convicted a 36-year-old man of sexually assaulting a clerk at a nutritional store where he'd shopped for sex-enhancement pills. Clarence "Shayne" Wilson of Kansas City faces a possible seven-year prison sentence for deviant sexual assault in June 2004. Clay County prosecutors said that during his third visit to the store, Wilson grabbed the woman's hand and stuck it down his pants and put his hand down her pants. - (White Boy) - (crime)

Victims' grandmother releases tapes of low down 'gay' boy-raping reporter Former Channel 9 reporter Stephen Hill is serving time for homosexually assaulting four boys he mentored, but the boys' grandmother said the damage continued long after the trial was over. Jeary Brown released audio tapes of her conversations with Hill in an effort to salvage her reputation. Low down North Las Vegas Pastor Accused of Sexual Misconduct with a little boy A North Las Vegas pastor arrested for sexual misconduct with a minor is free on bail. Pastor Billy Eckstine McCurdy was released from jail Monday after his arrest on Friday. The 52-year-old is pastor at the Revival Temple Church of God in Christ. North Las Vegas police arrested him for crimes he's accused of committing at his home. Police will only say that the sexual misconduct between the pastor and a juvenile male occurred at Pastor McCurdy's home. Church news: Church janitor accused of sex crimes against a children inside the church of "God and Christ" KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- The janitor of the Bethel Church of God and Christ is in jail on charges of sex crimes. Police said 47-year-old Clarence Garrison is facing four felonies of indecent liberties with a child. They said Garrison took advantage of children at his home and inside the church. One parishionersaid that she gave her two children specific instructions, "I warned them about Clarence. Don't take candy from him. Stay away from him. If you have to go to the bathrooms, don't go by yourself... church is somewhere where you go to get help, not get hurt." - (White Boy) |
Four Negro youth - "door-to-door candy salesmen" brutally beat old man and steal his car - Victim Recovering At Local Hospital  WHITEHALL, Ohio -- A 75-year-old man was injured during a home invasion that resulted in a search by SWAT officers for four armed men in a local neighborhood. Police said four young men knocked on William Hall's door and said they were selling candy. Hall decided to take them up on the offer. When he came back to the door with money, they pretty much attacked." The men robbed Hall of money, several guns and his car. "After they pushed him inside, they tied him up and they began taking turns beating him" SWAT officers captured one of the suspects after a police dog bit him. Northside Rapist Gets 20 Years In Prison CINCINNATI -- A registered sex predator is going to back prison. Keith Mustin has pleaded guilty to raping two teenage girls. He invited them to his Northside apartment and held them at knifepoint and raped them for hours. Under his plea deal, he will serve 20 years in prison. Three Black Teens Charged With Kidnapping then Killing White Arlington Woman  JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Mary Jane Wright was duct-taped, handcuffed and kidnapped from her Arlington apartment. She would die at another apartment complex only blocks away. "This was a senseless crime. Mary wouldn't hurt anybody," said her sister Vickie Souder. Police arrested and charged Keith Monford, Aaron Wright and Michael Workman with her murder. The suspects are 16-years-old. Two women claim that Martin tortured them with pieces of wire and raped them Anthony Martin is accused of kidnapping a teen and a woman, raping them and then using one of them as a lookout while he sold drugs in Boston. One of the alleged victims, who is 16, was reportedly raped in January 2005 at the hotel, while a second victim in her early 40s allegedly suffered the same fate in the same room. Martin is accused of luring the 16-year-old in Chinatown into his vehicle on Jan. 16 and bringing her to the Motel on Rte. 9.where he repeatedly raped the teen, and threatened her with a knife and a razor. - (forum) |
Police Arrest 20-Year-Old In Rape Going Back To 2002 They say Fabion Whyte, 20, tried to run when he saw police, but was eventually arrested outside a store last night in Bensonhurst. A family member screamed at the media as Whyte was taken away in handcuffs. Police say they pursued Whyte, who has a New Jersey address, after discovering his DNA matched with a 2002 Brooklyn rape case and a 2004 shooting. Whyte is charged with rape and sodomy. |
Albany Police Investigating Attempted Abduction of 14-year old girl by black man  Police in Albany are on the lookout after a middle schooler was attacked with a knife while walking to school. Police said the 14-year old girl was attacked on her way to Hackett Middle School around 8:30 am. The young girl was apparently attacked by a man with a butcher knife. Her attacker is being described as a black male in his 20's. Police say the is suffering from "defensive wounds" on her arms and hands, and ran to her neighbors house who then called 911. Police are looking for a connection between this crime and the murder of 14 year-old Gretchen Perham. Perham was found murdered May 13th in a wooded area off Mount Hope Drive. She was stabbed 18 times in the chest. Perham was also a student at Hackett Middle School. She took a similar route to school by way of Myrtle Avenue. Negro charged with indecent exposure at public library Police charged a man after a County Public Library patron reported he exposed himself to her twice. Eddie James Richardson, 32, was charged with indecent exposure and placed into the Rowan County Detention Center under a $500 secured bond. The 27-year-old woman was in the lower level of the library when the man first exposed himself to her, police reports said. The woman told the library staff member, who reported the incident to police. The woman then went upstairs in the library, and the man again exposed himself to her. Sex offender not living at address he registered - was evicted Deputies discovered that a convicted sex offender is not living at the address he registered with the state after finding his home empty last month. A deputy checked at the address listed for Joseph Worley Alexander Jr., 50, of 626 W. Marsh St., and found that the home was vacant. The owner of the home said that Alexander had been evicted. Alexander was convicted in 1996 for taking indecent liberties with a minor. He is now wanted for failing to register. Butts) - (TNB)    Two brothers were charged Friday with murder and conspiracy to commit murder in the slaying of their father at his northeast Jackson home. Rufus Brooks Jr., 20, and Nicholas Brooks, 21, were arrested Friday along with three other Jackson men. Rufus Brooks Sr., a 43-year-old minister, was shot in the chest and stabbed multiple times on March 26. Roger Brooks, Rufus Brooks Sr.'s twin brother, said while he's relieved arrests were made in the case, it's upsetting that his nephews allegedly were involved. |

Specifically, he faces four counts of lewd acts on a minor, four counts of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, disseminating obscene material to a minor and one count of simple assault and battery. "He always say that he (was) gonna kill all the white people in the world" - Black murders White man in racist jihad hate crime   SEATTLE -- Documents and interviews with neighbors are offering clues about the possible motive for a 17-year-old's alleged slaying of a Bellevue high school tennis coach. Samson Y. Berhe, who turns 18 on Thursday, was ordered detained in juvenile court. He was arrested Monday after he was found on a barge across the Duwamish River from the shooting scene. Michael Robb, a tennis coach at Newport High School, was shot in the face Sunday night as he sat in his car on West Marginal Way in Seattle. Witnesses said a male approached the car and fired a shotgun through the open driver's side window, then ran toward the river. Neighbors told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News the teen said he had a grudge against white people. "He always say that he (was) gonna kill all the white people in the world," said Anna Bell Perkins. "Samson had, like, some sort of complex against Caucasian people. And he said he wanted to kill them all and told me I could watch," said another neighbor. According to court documents, Behre owned a shotgun. Police cut down a tree from his yard and recovered a bullet of the same caliber used to kill Robb.
