He is in jail again, charged with groping a man in Olathe. Colby Rainey said Sanchez groped him in the parking lot of an Olathe hardware store. Police release sketch of black man wanted in Queens acid attack on white female priest
Alexandra Dyerblack suspectQUEENS, N.Y. -- Police have a better idea of the man they are trying to find in an acid attack on a woman in Queens. The NYPD has released a sketch of the suspect. The attack happened Wednesday night in Sunnyside, as 59-year old Alexandra Dyer entered her car on Skillman Avenue. Investigators say the suspect was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts and white sneakers. Dyer suffered severe burns in attack that sources tell Eyewitness News was not random. The man, holding a coffee cup, came up from behind and said, "Can I ask you a question?" When Dyer turned around, the man threw the unknown substance from the cup at her face. Sources said it was a thick gel-like liquid. The substance began to burn immediately, according to police. She tried to drive away, but only made it 200 feet. She stopped the car, started screaming and a passerby called 911. The woman was rushed to the burn unit at Cornell Medical Center, where she was being treated for serious burns to face, eyes and hands. - (Black-on-white)

Random stabbing attacks on Whites in Bloomington lead to attempted murder charges against berserk black man
Jason HopkinsWhite victimWhite victimBLOOMINGTON — A Bloomington man will be arraigned Aug. 28 on attempted first-degree and aggravated assault charges, stemming from what authorities say were random attacks on three people Wednesday afternoon in downtown Bloomington. Formal charges were leveled Thursday against Jason Hopkins, 35. The attempted murder charges accuse Hopkins of stabbing a man with a knife. One victim is a Pantagraph employee who was working outside the building. He remains hospitalized with two stab wounds. Another man was allegedly stabbed by Hopkins prior to that attack. He was a tourist from Germany and was struck and then stabbed in the knee as he stood near the McLean County Museum of History. He was treated and released from a local hospital. A third man, 82, was allegedly knocked to the ground by Hopkins as he worked at the museum. The aggravated battery counts relate to the stabbings of the two men and the minor injuries to the museum volunteer. Hopkins is accused of assaulting the three victims in what appears to be random attacks. The knife recovered by police and believed to be the weapon used is about 4 inches long, said Chambers. - (Black-on-white)

The Retrial of a (Black) Texas Corpse-raper Imprisoned Despite an Overturned Conviction
Jerry HartfieldJerry Hartfield, 59, has been in prison since 1977 even though his original murder conviction was overturned in 1980. A Texas jury found him guilty of the crime for a second time. In 1977, a jury convicted Hartfield, who is black, of the 1976 rape and murder of Eunice Lowe, a white 55-year-old bus-station ticket agent in Bay City, Texas. Three years later, Texas’s highest criminal appeals court overturned the conviction, citing jury selection issues, and ordered a retrial—an order the prosecution fought for years. Before that retrial began, however, then-Texas Governor Mark White commuted Hartfield’s death sentence to life imprisonment in 1983. There was only one catch: Because Hartfield’s original conviction had been vacated, he legally had no death sentence for the governor to commute. But since no one realized this at the time, or for decades afterward, Hartfield stayed in prison and served the commuted life sentence without retrial. Hartfield, who reportedly has an IQ of 51, did not realize he was serving a life sentence. - (Black-on-white)

Daughter of White woman raped and murdered by black says mother was ‘an educated woman’
Danielle CaronCurtis HodgesThe daughter of a 49-year-old woman stabbed to death last week in downtown Hilo said her mother was “an educated woman,” and media denoscriptions of her as a homeless person do her life and memory a disservice. Chloe Caron said her mother, Danielle Caron, originally was from Pacific Palisades, an affluent Los Angeles neighborhood, but spent almost two decades in Santa Cruz., Calif., before moving to the Big Island a couple of years ago. “She graduated from college with a master’s (degree) in teaching,” Chloe Caron said. “She’s talented. She’s artistic; she can draw. She has a genius IQ. She’s a loving woman with an addiction problem. She moved to the Big Island. I lived on Kauai for five years. I moved her out there myself to give her a new opportunity to change for the better. When I moved her out to Hawaii, I was with her for about a month, so I know that she was sober. For a while, she was working on an organic farm and she was trying to pretty much survive.” Chloe Caron said she last talked to her mother about a month ago. “When I read the news, it breaks my heart to read ‘homeless woman murdered.’ That’s not who she was,” Chloe Caron said. “She had a lot to give people. She was kind. She wasn’t a homeless addict who robbed people or anything like that.” Curtis Hodges, a 35-year-old man from Shiloh, Ill., was arrested Friday at the Hilo Bay Hostel and charged with Danielle Caron’s murder. Surveillance video of the area led to his arrest, police said. - (Black-on-white)

Update: Second Suspect In Cathedral Robbery Arrested
Larry LeggettWayman ClarkCharlean ClarkThe missing suspect in a robbery and assault at St. Cecilia Cathedral has been identified as Larry Leggett, 20, and he is now in police custody, along with Wayman Clark. Police say that shortly before 3:30 Friday afternoon officers with the Metro Area Fugitive Task Force located Leggett in the 4700 block of North 36th Avenue. They say he tried to run from the rear of a residence when officers announced themselves but the home was surrounded. He ran back inside. Police say Task Force members were then able to talk Leggett into surrendering. He was arrested without further incident and booked for robbery. Police say they were able to identify Leggett as their missing suspect through a combination of Crime Stoppers tips and the work of the Task Force, the OPD Gang Unit and Robbery Unit Detectives. Police say 22-year-old Clark was one of two men seen on surveillance video who ran up behind the 76-year-old victim. One grabbed her purse and the other punched her in the head, knocking her to the floor, causing a gash that sent her to the hospital. Prosecutors say it was Clark who threw the punch. They say they did not file assault charges in this case because the robbery charge carries more time. - (Black-on-white)s

Brandon Jerome Smithblack home invaderblack home invaderblack home invaderMichael Lash and familyATLANTA -- Residents of Atlanta's Riverside community filled a community meeting Tuesday looking for answers from police, two days after one of their neighbors -- Michael Lash -- was shot, and his wife shot at by intruders. The gunmen shot and wounded Lash as he fought to keep them out of his home Sunday night, Atlanta police said. His wife Whitney and baby daughter escaped but not before they were shot at twice. Lash, his wife Whitney, their 2-year-old son and infant daughter had just returned to their home on Sumter Street from a vacation when four men knocked on their front door. "They pretended as if their vehicle had broken down and they were requesting a car jack of some sort from our victim at which point they brandished a weapon," said Ofc. Ralph Woolfolk. The men asked Lash to borrow a car jack and then tried to force their way inside. As Lash tried to close the door, the men shot him and entered the house. Lash was shot twice in the leg, one of the shots shattered his femur. The couple's 2-year-old son was sleeping in an upstairs bedroom. Lash's wife grabbed their infant daughter and ran to the back of the house. Police said the suspects fired twice at her and the baby, but missed. She then managed to run to a neighbor's home.     DNA evidence found on a glove helps to crack a 16-year-old murder case of a (White) great grandmother, 84, who was strangled after she left a Detroit diner (by a brutal black beast with a Nigerian name)
Nosakhare N. OnumonuHelen KlocekA murder case which lay unsolved for the past 16 years has finally been unraveled thanks to DNA evidence found on a glove. The 1999 murder of Helen Klocek, 84, from Plymouth Township looked as if it would remain an unsolved cold case due to a lack of evidence. But it was cracked after investigators ran DNA tests on a glove that was left at the murder scene and matched the DNA to a convicted felon who was in jail and was set to be released imminently for another crime. The DNA belonged to Nosakhare Onumonu, a four-time convicted felon who had prior convictions and lived close to where the elderly woman's body was found. Klocek was murdered after she left the Brothers Family Restaurant on March, 2 1999 and headed toward her Plymouth Township apartment. Her body was found in an alley behind behind Calvary AME Zion Church on Detroit's west side, according to The Detroit Free Press. The widower had suffered a broken right collarbone, broken sternum, nine broken ribs and had defense wounds on her hands and arms. An eyewitness reported seeing a woman matching Klocek 'with a worried look on her face wearing a beige trench coat' driving slowly east on Joy Road, near where Klocek's body was found. She also spotted 'a young black man in the front passenger seat of the Escort, 'pointing as if to direct the driver.' - (Black-on-white)

Heather Bach and injured children Amelia and NoahRaymon BrownPITTSBURGH — Two children continue to recover from serious injuries after the car that their mother was driving was struck by a vehicle in a high-speed police pursuit on Route 51. “It’s a miracle that they are alive,” said Cindy West, of North Versailles. It was late Monday night when the car her daughter was driving was struck by a speeding, stolen vehicle being chased by Stowe Township Police. West’s daughter, Heather Bach, had two of her children in the car with her at the time. They were going to the airport to pick up a foreign exchange student from China. West told KDKA-TV’s Ralph Iannotti, “If it had been another foot or two my daughter and the children would have all been killed by the car that hit them. He was going superfast.” Police said the car, reported stolen from Dormont last week and being operated by 19-year-old Raymon Brown was going nearly 100 miles an hour when it slammed into Bach’s Toyota at a Route 51 intersection. Brown was taken to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. According to a criminal complaint, he told a nurse there, “I smoked weed and took ‘percs’ before the crash.” West says her granddaughter, 11-year-old Amelia was most seriously hurt. She’s now in critical condition after major surgery. She was riding in the front seat of the car with her mother.     (Black) Judge finds (black) Taylor men guilty of misdemeanor assault in gas station beating (of White man)
Anthony ClarkDeangelo ClarkShannon WalkerRyan NasarzewskiA Wayne County judge found two Taylor men guilty of misdemeanor aggravated assault Tuesday in a gas station beating that left a Lincoln Park man hospitalized for a month. Wayne County Circuit Judge Shannon Walker rejected felony charges of assault with intent to murder and assault with intent to commit great bodily harm against Anthony Clark, 23, and his brother, Deangelo Clark, 22. Walker heard testimony on several days over the past two months, as the Clarks waived their right to a jury trial. Walker said she looked at the credibility of all the witnesses and considered the Clarks’ intent when they punched and kicked Ryan Nasarzewski, 29, of Lincoln Park, at the BP gas station at Telegraph and Wick roads in Taylor She said she believed the Clarks when they testified that they felt threatened by Nasarzewski. They testified that Nasarzewski called them a racial epithet and raised his arms in a threatening way.
Police say witnesses told them that two men were talking amongst themselves about selling drugs in the area and Nasarzewski allegedly said, “We don’t do that around here.” Witnesses said the two men got him down on the floor and kicked him in the head. Walker noted that not all witnesses who gave a statement to police testified at the trial. Nasarzewski testified last fall in District Court in Taylor that he had vision, hearing and memory problems as a result of the beating, as well as a number of broken bones in his skull and several broken ribs. Family members said that for the first two weeks after the incident, they didn’t know if Nasarzewski would live. - (Black-on-white)

Second suspect named in slaying of elderly woman
Timothy ColemanMargarita BalandovaMary LuebeckThe husband of a woman facing felony murder, robbery and home invasion charges in the slaying of an elderly Las Vegas neighbor will also face prosecution in the case, a chief deputy district attorney said Tuesday. Timothy Coleman is jailed in an unrelated felony vehicle vandalism case, and prosecutor David Stanton told a judge that he'll seek an indictment against Coleman in the slaying of 84-year-old Mary Luebeck. Stanton spoke before Justice of the Peace Melissa Saragosa postponed until Wednesday an initial court appearance for Coleman's wife, Margarita Balandova, to determine if Clark County public defenders can represent her. Luebeck was stabbed to death early July 29, and items including a purse, credit cards, jewelry and cash were stolen from her home near Desert Inn Road and Decatur Boulevard. Outside court, Stanton said Tuesday the brazen smash-and-entry through a glass back door and the bloody stabbing of an elderly grandmother in the head, neck and chest could qualify the case for the death penalty. Balandova's fingerprints were found on vertical blinds near where Luebeck's daughter found her body surrounded by bloody footprints on the tile floor of her neatly kept home, Stanton said. - (Black-on-white)

(Black) Boyfriend allegedly choked, killed (white) girlfriend in Brooklyn Park, Minn.
Toby Nicholas ClarkeKrista AmbersA mother of three was killed in her Brooklyn Park home around 3 a.m. on Thursday. And police say her live-in boyfriend is to blame. This was an all-too-familiar scenario where the family noticed bruising and confronted 36-year-old Krista Ambers, but she would lie -- too afraid of her abuser to come forward. Toby Nicholas Clark, 37, has a history of domestic abuse charges and an order for protection filed against him. Police were called to the home near 84th Court and Douglas Drive on a report of an unconscious person. By the time they arrived to the home, Ambers didn’t have a pulse and had injuries around her neck and arms. The medical examiner said the cause of her death was strangulation. Clarke was arrested by police and told them the two were having rough sex, and admitted to choking her. But the victim's son, Deanthony Ambers, said Clarke is only saying that to make it look like a mistake. “I want everyone to know that that's a lie,” Deanthony Ambers said. "That man took my mom's life for no reason and it was not an accident. He purposely did that to her." Deanthony said his mother was a victim of domestic abuse and believes she tried to call police, but Clarke took the phone away before she could get any help. - (Black-on-white)

(Black) Man charged in (White) Birmingham detective's beating; outrage follows support of attack on social media
Janard Shamar CunninghamBirmingham detectiveBirmingham detectiveA Center Point man with a violent past is now charged with attempted murder in the pistol-whipping of a Birmingham police detective during a traffic stop Friday morning. Police today identified the suspect as 34-year-old Janard Shamar Cunningham, also known as Janaris Shavar Cunningham. He has at least a half dozen convictions dating back to 1999, and as many arrests in which charges were dismissed during the same time period. Cunningham is charged in the beating of a detective who is a six-year veteran of the force. Authorities said Cunningham stole the detective's gun and then repeatedly hit him in the head until the detective stopped moving.
Not long after the attack, photos began to surface on social media showing the detective lying face down on the pavement. Another photo showed him bloody and kneeling, but awake. In some cases on Facebook, the photos were accompanied by words of support for whoever beat the detective. That, police say, is outrageous. Officers are angry that any photos were shown at all, but even more so that there were some who mocked the incident. "He was laying there lifeless and people were standing around taking pictures,'' said Birmingham police Sgt. Heath Boackle, president of the Fraternal Order of Police. "If the tables were turned, and that was a suspect lying there, they would be rioting." "If the officer would have shot him, then he would have shot an 'unarmed man.' Instead, he took the gun from the officer,'' Boackle said of Friday's incident. "The officer had every right to shoot him. We're lucky we're not talking about him killing the officer." - (Black-on-white)

Quinton JacksonBenny Booker Chad NicholsDONALDSONVILLE, LA - An arrest has been made in connection to a double homicide that happened on the outskirts of Donaldsonville on January 26, 2015. Deputies have arrested and charged 26-year-old Quinton Jackson with two counts of first degree murder. On January 26, 2015, 37-year-old Chad Nichols was found dead on the front lawn of his home in Donaldsonville. Deputies say 29-year-old Benny Booker was found in the doorway of Nichols' home. He was rushed to the hospital where he died. Officials say both men were fatally shot and the investigation revealed the shooting was a drug-related crime, with the possible motive of robbery. Ascension Parish Sheriff Jeff Wiley says heroin was found in Nichols' home during the investigation. Shell casings recovered from the double homicide scene were examined by the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab and New Orleans Police Department Crime Lab. Lab results revealed the weapon used in the double shooting in Donaldsonville is the same weapon that was used in four separate shootings in New Orleans between 2011 and 2013, according to Sheriff Wiley. - (Black-on-white)

Blind (White) woman robbed in broad daylight by cowardly black parasite predator purse-snatcher
black purse snatcherGina Walters CHARLOTTE, NC - Something many of us take for granted is the same thing that may have made Gina Walters a target when she says she was robbed in the middle of the day on a busy street. "I should be aware of my surroundings and I am most of the time, except for what I cannot see," Walters said. Walters is legally blind. Because of that, she can't drive, so she often walks to the convinience store on Craighead road in North Charlotte. But Tuesday afternoon, her stroll home from the corner store wasn't so routine when a man approached her asking for directions "I was just trying to be nice and I told him that Sugar Creek Road was that way," Walters said. But in a split second their pleasant exchange did changed. "I had a change purse that was on my wrist and he took it off of me and stole it and ran across the street," Walters said. "I started screaming and crying frantically". In broad daylight, on a busy street, Walters says she was robbed of her credit cards, multiple forms of ID and nearly 300 dollars. "He really made it hard on me by stealing what he did. The only income i get is social security because of my vision I can't work," Walters said. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers with the North Tryon division responded and are currently investigating. But looking back, Walters remembers seeing the man in line at the store just moments before his attack. "When I was opening my change purse, he probably saw the cash I had in it," Walters said. But she never expected she'd find herself a victim and wants to warn others of the danger. "I feel like he took advantage of a vulnerable young woman, that could happen to anyone," Walters said. Walters says there is surveillance video of the man inside the convience store that has been handed over to police. He's described as an African-American male in his 20's. - (Black-on-white)

Attack for ‘being white’ leads to hate crime charges for (Somali Black Muslim) cab driver
Mahad Abdinoor AbdiST. LOUIS, MO – A renegade cab driver now faces hate crime charges after reportedly attacking a man for being white. Mahad Abdinoor Abdi is the same suspect that was exposed in a report after witnesses said he threatened to decapitate police officers. These are extremely rare charges because prosecutors say hate crimes can be very hard to prove. In this case, according to this probable cause statement, the victim reports that Abdi attacked him Wednesday only because the victim was white. The cab commission revoked his license after Abdi reportedly threatened to chop the heads off police officers. He is already facing assault charges for threats. Abdi now faces two hate crime charges – property damage and assault motivated by discrimination. Court documents say the victim did not know Abdi. He was sitting on the tailgate of his truck when Abdi put him in a headlock and said. “He wanted to kill the victim because (he) was white.” The latest reported assault happened within a mile of where we first followed Abdi in his unauthorized cab. He faces the property hate crime charge because the victim reported that he later watched Abdi slashing the tires of his truck. - (Hatecrimes) - (Black-on-white)

Sheriff: (Black drug-dealing) Children's father's 'lifestyle' to blame for Holly Hill deaths
Christopher WrightKrystal HuttoJerome Butler Shamekia SandersTamara Alexia PerryORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC - The sheriff of Orangeburg County says the father of the three children shot in a fatal Holly Hill shooting is responsible for two of their deaths because of his "lifestyle." Sheriff Leroy Ravenell announced Christopher Wright faces a total of five new charges: three counts of unlawful neglect of a child, one count of trafficking cocaine base and one count of obstruction of justice in connection with the July 15 shooting that left two of Wright's children, his fiancee and another man dead and a third child wounded. Ravenell told reporters he wished he could say he had the shooter in custody. "I can't do that today," he said.
