Black woman said "I Kill White People Like You" when asked to turn off her cell phone Following takeoff from Nashville Sunday afternoon, a United Airlines passenger warned a fellow flyer that, “I kill white people like you” when she was asked to turn off her cell phone, investigators allege. The disruption on Flight 4205, which was bound for Houston, resulted in the Embraer 135’s return to Nashville’s airport, where Lashonda Lee Williams was arrested for assault. The 43-year-old Williams, seen at right, was asked by another female passenger to “turn off her cell phone due to the aircraft being in flight,” according to a court affidavit. In reply, Williams allegedly said, “I kill white people like you.” Investigators noted that Williams told the other passenger, K. Colleen Coult, 50, that she would follow her upon reaching Houston “and find out where she lived.” The comments “created fear in Coult for her safety,” the affidavit notes. - (Drudge link) - (Black-on-white) |
Black stalking, harassment suspect bonds out, White female victim speaks out   DENVER - A man arrested for stalking and harassment is now back on the street after bonding out of jail, and one of his alleged victims 'Angela' is coming forward. The president of a local laundry company that employed the suspect, 27-year-old Charlie Williams, said the independent contractor has been on about a thousand service calls in homes and apartments -- including Angela’s. Finally, a graphic photo triggered her memory of Williams. "It was African American and it was the only African American that I could think of that had been in my house was the guy that dropped off my washer and dryer," she said. "I was wondering how, what he did in my house when I was there?” Police believe Angela was one of at least six victims, including Shaina Wilson. Both Wilson and Angela are now working with prosecutors on the case against Williams, who has been charged and is out on bond. There are at least six victims. - (Black-on-white) |

Black murder suspect arrested after White victim's body found in Salado Creek  SAN ANTONIO -- Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of a man whose body was found in Salado Creek on the Northeast Side. Allen Fluitt, 27, is charged with the murder of 29-year-old Russell McKinley. McKinley's body was found in Salado Creek near Eisenhauer Road on May 9th, during heavy rains and flooding. McKinley's body showed signs of trauma, and homicide detectives were called in to investigate. They were able to determine McKinley had been murdered at his apartment on Jackson Keller on May 7th and that his body was then dumped in a drainage ditch behind a business. The heavy rains then washed his body into Salado Creek two days later. Police are confident more arrests will be made. - (Black-on-white) |

Black man gets 26 years for S.F. murder of white homosexual for his ATM card  A 44-year-old San Francisco man was sentenced Friday to 26 years to life in prison for strangling a man for his ATM card in the Mission District. Richard Pouncy was convicted of first-degree murder on May 9 for the killing of 47-year-old Richard Sprague. Sprague was found dead on the 100 block of Julian Avenue on the morning of Feb. 19, 2012. His domestic partner said Sprague had left their home a few blocks away to buy a pack of cigarettes at about midnight, but did not bring his wallet or cell phone with him. Pouncy was detained later that day for jaywalking. Officers said they discovered Sprague’s Well Fargo bank card in his possession and booked him on suspicion of robbery. Forensic technicians also discovered Pouncy’s DNA on Sprague’s neck. - (Black-on-white) |

Police: White Evansville man shot early Friday morning by group of racist anti-white blacks  Evansville police are investigating an early-morning shooting on Friday that left one person injured. Authorities identified the injured man as 39-year-old Burt Bender. Bender was shot once in the abdomen. He is expected to survive, according to an Evansville Police Department news release. The incident happened about 1:45 a.m. on Friday near the intersection of Adams and Kentucky avenues. Bender told investigators he was walking home when a group of black men in a red Pontiac car approached him. Bender, who is white, told police that the men in the car yelled several racial slurs at him before one of them shot him, according to the department news release. - (Black-on-white) |
Deborah Ann Treptor, a 35-year-old white woman, was fatally stabbed by her black boyfriend Deborah Ann Treptor, a 35-year-old white woman, was fatally stabbed Thursday, May 15, in the 1400 block of East 109th Street in Watts, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records. Shortly before 1 a.m., Treptor was found with multiple stab wounds by a fellow resident of the transitional housing center where she lived. Treptor was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 1:22 a.m. Treptor was in an ongoing dispute with her boyfriend, Mark Anthony Little, a 50-year-old black male. Little had moved out of the home two weeks ago because the two were having relationship problems. That night, Little allegedly went to the home, asked for her, then went into her room and stabbed her multiple times. - (Black-on-white) |
Death sentence for black who murdered two White Tampa Officers - and at least two others  TAMPA, FL - Dontae Rashawn Morris will be put to death for the 2010 murders of two Tampa Police officers. Morris showed no emotion as Judge William Fuente sentenced him Friday morning. Last year, a jury convicted him of murdering TPD Officers Dave Curtis and Jeff Kocab. The jury recommended the death penalty. "Jeff and Dave, they died as heroes. They died protecting those who can't protect themselves," said TPD Deputy Chief Brian Dugan after the sentencing. Kelly Curtis spoke on behalf of both officers' families minutes after learning her late husband's killer will be executed. "We've been able to find closure on our own with the help of our faith. But it is very comforting to know that our justice system has worked today," she said. Curtis also thanked the community and the TPD family for its support throughout the years. "Dave and Jeff died as heroes trying to protect this community and it is our hope that they are always remembers in that manner," Curtis said. - (Black-on-white) |

Black man charged with fatally shooting White Gold Coast shop owner  A man was charged with murder in the shooting death of a Gold Coast shop owner during an apparent robbery in March. Tyneil Washington, 29, of Champaign, was arrested in Chicago Thursday and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting, according to Chicago Police. Herbert Goode, owner of Silver Cloud Gallery at 20 W. Ohio St., was shot in the chest in what appeared to be a robbery, authorities said. Goode, 66, was shot about 2 p.m. March 1 in the 2300 block of West 57th Street and pronounced dead a short time later at Mount Sinai Hospital, officials said. He was standing near the driver-side door of his vehicle when the shooter came up and began to struggle with him, police said. The suspect shot Goode during the struggle, then fled, police said. - (Black-on-white) |

Police identify black man accused of killing 2 black women, shooting White officer  INDIANAPOLIS —Police have identified the man who is accused of killing two women and shooting an officer on the near northeast side of Indianapolis Friday morning. Police said Quintico Goolsby, 36, went to a home in the 2600 block of North Dearborn Street, around 7:10 a.m. Officers were initially called to the scene on the report of an unknown disturbance. Police say the 911 operator could hear a woman screaming and things being slammed in the background. IMPD Officer Gregory Milburn was the first to respond to the scene, arriving within one minute of being dispatched. Police say as Officer Milburn approached the north side of the house, Goolsby fired a number of shots at him. Detectives say Officer Milburn returned fire, fatally wounding Goolsby. During the exchange of gunfire, Officer Milburn was shot. He was taken to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in good condition after being shot one time, near the abdomen. Police say the bulletproof vest he was wearing saved his life. Police say two women were found dead inside of the home. At this point it’s unclear how the women died. The manner and cause of death will be determined by the coroner’s office. The victims have been identified as 84-year-old Julia Morrow and 30-year-old Inity Morrow. Police say the relationship between Goolsby and the victims is not known. - (Black-on-white) |

White Insurance Sales Manager Dead After Being Shot While Driving By A Black Male  Police in Dallas are investigating an incident that took place on Friday morning at the intersection of Oak Lawn Avenue and Lemmon Avenue. A car crashed at a gas station and, when officials responded to the scene, they found a man inside of the crashed vehicle with a gunshot wound. The man was taken to Parkland Hospital in Dallas and pronounced dead a short time later. The victim has been identified by the Dallas County Medical Examiner as 33-year-old Joshua Lee Tubbleville of Dallas. Authorities later confirmed that the victim was the driver of the vehicle. He was shot while inside of the car, which caused him to lose control of his vehicle and crash into a tree at the gas station. Witnesses saw a black male exit from the passenger side of the car and flee from the scene on foot. - (Black-on-white) |

Rockford police release details on Pearl St. shooting of White man by black Rockford police have released more information on the shooting death of Andrew Barth. Police say officers responded to the intersection of Pearl and Hutchins for reports of shots fired and a traffic crash. Upon arrival, officers say they found an unoccupied pickup truck that had crashed into a parked car in the 500 block of Pearl. They then located Barth inside a private residence. He was aided by members of the Rockford Fire Department before being taken to SwedishAmerican Hospital. Officers say their preliminary investigation showed Barth and another man were near the intersection when they had an altercation with people in a dark colored minivan. Police say a black male in his 20s then got out of the van and fired shots into Barth's vehicle before getting back into the van and being driven away. Barth then crashed his vehicle and ran into the private residence while his companion allegedly ran away. - (Black-on-white) |

Black and Hispanic arrested for home invasion and robbery of White 100-year-old veteran    The Carson City Sheriff's Office has two men behind bars who allegedly robbed a 100-year-old veteran at his home over Memorial Day weekend. 25-year-old Jordan Randall Burkhart and 27-year-old Robert Michael Hernandez were arrested Wednesday. Around 5 a.m. Sunday morning, deputies responded to a report of a home invasion and robbery at a home on Canvasback Drive. They say the victim, James Sorrentino, is a 100-year-old Army Air Corp and U.S. Air Force veteran. He was at home with a woman who is his in-residence care-giver when the robbery happened. Hernandez and Burkhart forced their way into the home by kicking and prying at the door. Once inside, they say one of the men held a gun to the care-giver's head, ransacked the house and fled. Fortunately neither victim was injured during the attack but authorities say the men stole about $30 in cash and other miscellaneous property. - (Black-on-white) |

White family’s quick action lands accused black groper in jail   MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Quick action by a Memphis family landed an accused groper in jail. It was a scary day for the Flanagan family, who say a man grabbed one of them and rammed their car, which had three young kids inside. With the help of one of the kids in the car, Sandra Flanagan and her daughter April were able to get the vehicle’s license plate number. “They were scared. We were all scared,” Sandra said. When she, April, and three grandkids went to the store a couple of weeks ago, she said a man started harassing April. “He just started disrespecting us and touched my butt,” April said. The family left with the help of the store owner, who they said even pointed a gun at 50-year-old Steven Wesby to get him to leave. The situation got even scarier after they got in the car. They said Wesby and another man followed them, cursing at them through the car window while they tried to get away. “He followed us, rammed us in the back, pushed it out into the middle of the street,” Sandra said. Three small children were in the car when it was rammed – 8-year-old Carlos and his 5-year-old and 9-month-old sisters. That is when Sandra said her motherly instincts kicked in. “I spun around, followed him up the hill and got his tag number,” she said. “He tried to put his car in drive to come down the hill and ram us again.” This time, the family was able to get away. - (Black-on-white) |
Reward Doubled For Leads In Murder Of Pregnant White Woman By A Black Male THE VILLAGE, Oklahoma - A family is pleading for help in solving the murder of their daughter and her unborn child. They are now offering a $10,000 reward, hoping it will help police catch the killer. It has been almost a year and a half since Amber Dawn Stokke was shot in the driveway of her house. Her family has moved out of the neighborhood, but they still want police to find her killer. Police had originally responded to what was called in as a car crash, but when officers arrived, they found 22-year-old Amber Dawn Stokke dead inside. She had been shot multiple times. Police say originally Stokke's car hit the curb, plowed through a yard, and slammed into a fence at the corner of Sunnymeade Pl. and Plymouth Ln., less than a mile away from where Stokke lived with her father and her roommate, who was in the car with her. All the roommate was able to say was that it was a black male who approached the car they were in and shot Stokke. - (Black-on-white) |

Black man sentenced to life for White Greenbrier woman's murder  SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. - A man accused of murdering a 28-year-old Greenbrier mother in 2011 was sentenced to life in prison Thursday. Candice Owens died from multiple gunshot wounds to her legs and torso after she was shot by Thomas Dowlen on June 30, 2011 at a home on 12th Avenue East in Springfield. Authorities said the shooting stemmed from an incident involving Owens’ brother and Dowlen at a tobacco store located on Central Avenue. Owens was shot after she and Dowlen exchanged words when he came looking for her brother. "Justice was served, and I’m appreciative of all the hard work everyone did assisting us, especially D.A. Jason White, and the jury. I feel some satisfaction for the family, though I know Dowlen’s conviction will not bring Candice back it might bring her family some closure but I’m not happy. - (Black-on-white) |

Jury Selection Begins in Football Player's Murder  Jury selection begins Tuesday for the trial of three black men charged in the death of Timothy McNerney, a western Pennsylvania college student who died during what authorities allege was a mugging. Police say the Washington & Jefferson College student and football player was walking back to campus with a teammate from a local tavern in October 2012 when the two were attacked. Authorities say McNerney died at Washington Hospital after he was knocked to the ground. Black man gets 12 years for running down joggers   An Arkansas man was sentenced to 12 years in prison Tuesday for running down a group of joggers last fall in downtown Cape Girardeau. Vincent T. Anderson, 19, of Little Rock, Ark., last month pleaded guilty to first-degree assault for the Oct. 28 attack, in which he drove a stolen 1994 Ford Thunderbird into a group of joggers at the intersection of Aquamsi and William streets. Three of the joggers suffered minor injuries. Anderson faced up to 15 years on the assault charge. His passenger, Marcus Jones, 27, of Cotton Plant, Ark., was sentenced to 90 days in jail for two misdemeanors -- vehicle tampering and resisting arrest -- in connection with the case. In the videos, a man could be heard swearing profusely and laughing loudly as tires squealed in the background. "I said we'll scare the [expletive] out of [expletive]s," the man said, apparently referring to the attack on the joggers. A voice also could be heard saying, "We had fun" and making a reference to the video game "Grand Theft Auto," in which criminals use stolen vehicles to cause death and destruction. Victim Laura Sheridan said the impact went beyond physical injuries. "I have a 5-year-old and a 3-year-old, and they're scared every day that I go up to run that I'm not going to come back," she told Thomsen. "It has affected us. The injuries may be minor, but it made an impact on all of us." Another victim, Ron Rosati, told Thomsen it was obvious Anderson meant to hit the joggers. "When I ran past the driver, I looked at him and waved to him as I was running past him. There was no traffic out, and he swerved across four lanes to hit us," said Rosati, who is the outgoing provost at Southeast Missouri State University. White woman dies in apparent domestic dispute shooting; her black husband was charged  AUDRAIN, Co. - Ricky Harding, Jr., 34, is charged with murder, domestic assault, armed criminal action and endangering the welfare of a child. Harding was arrested after the death of Summer Hickman at Harding's home in the 15000 block of Audrain Road 923. Hickman had been shot and died later at a local hospital. Ricky Harding and Summer Hickman were married. On facebook Summer does go by Summer Harding. Friends of the couple tell us the two's relationship was filled domestic abuse. Summer Hickman was found dead after a shooting Sunday at her home. He says the shooting apparently was related to a domestic dispute. |

Deputies: Black ex-boyfriend charged in white woman's death  GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. —Deputies said an ex-boyfriend has been arrested after a woman was found dead in her home. Late Tuesday, deputies said they arrested Lamar Thompson in connection with the death of Jennifer Jill Youngblood, and charged him with murder. Thompson appeared before a judge early Wednesday morning for a bond hearing. Youngblood's body was found on Friday at about 3:45 p.m. in a home in the 200 block of Nix Circle. Yosef Gopaul in court over slaying of B.C. hockey mom Julie Paskall   Yosef Gopaul, the 27-year-old man charged in the slaying of Surrey, B.C., hockey mom Julie Paskall, made his first court appearance Monday. Gopaul moved to B.C. from Ontario about eight weeks before the slaying and is now facing a second-degree murder charge in the brutal December 2013 attack outside a hockey arena. Paskall was assaulted in the parking lot of the Newton Arena while waiting to pick up her teenage son, Cailean, who was refereeing a hockey game the night of Dec. 29, 2013.

(Black) man arrested in deadly Cape Coral shooting (of White man)  CAPE CORAL, FL - One person is dead and two people were sent to the hospital after an early Saturday morning shooting in Cape Coral. It happened in the 400 block of S.E. 12th Court at around 2 a.m. We were told there was a party at the residence. Police were already on their way to the home when they received several calls about a shooting. "All you heard was three shots getting fired," said one neighbor. When authorities arrived, they found a man - later identified as 27-year-old Matthew Pech - dead on the scene. Cape Coral police developed information that indicated 19-year-old Christopher Curtis Manley was involved in the shooting. Based on evidence found during a search of his home and witness statements, Manley was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree murder. - (Black-on-white) |
3 blacks sentenced in 2012 killing of White deaf man   Two young women connected to the stabbing death of Michael Shull asked for forgiveness in court Thursday. His parents had none to give. And as the terms of three prison sentences were read aloud in a Mecklenburg County courtroom, Cliff and Josee Shull of Conover visibly struggled to accept what they believe is insufficient punishment of those responsible for their son’s death. Michael Shull, who had recently graduated from the N.C. School for the Deaf, died shortly before Christmas 2012, the victim of a plot by people he knew. The 21-year-old was fatally stabbed by a member of his girlfriend’s extended family. The attack took place during a robbery planned in part by his girlfriend’s half sister. On Thursday, all three involved in the robbery/slaying were sent to prison. • Davonta Jamal Turner, 20, who stabbed Shull during the robbery attempt, will serve between 28 and 37 years. • Turner’s half sister, Aveance Elasia Bryant, 20, received 4 1/2 to seven years. She is also a half sister to Shanika Harris, Michael Shull’s (deaf) girlfriend at the time of his death. • Ashley Marie Owens, 20, Turner’s girlfriend of four weeks when the killing occurred, got five to seven years. 2 cousins found guilty in gang rape of blonde home health nurse After deliberating for less than two hours, an Orleans Parish jury found two cousins guilty of taking part in the gang rape of a home health nurse in Zion City. Glenn Elliott, 19, and Jermaine Rumley, 23, face mandatory life in prison after being convicted of aggravated rape, aggravated kidnapping and armed robbery. As Judge Keva Landrum-Johnson read the verdict aloud, each defendant, clad in starched white collared shirts, stared straight ahead expressionless. The victim, a 55-year-old mother of four, closed her eyes and clung to a relative who had slung an arm around her. Elliott and Rumley are the first two of five total defendants to take the case to trial. Darren Holmes, now 21, who prosecutors describe as the ringleader, pleaded guilty and received a 40-year sentence for both the gang rape and a separate jailhouse rape in which Elliott and a third man are also accused. McDonald's attack caught on camera possible 'slap cam' 'prank' - blacks in unprovoked attack on Whites  BALTIMORE —A brawl caught on video at a downtown Baltimore McDonald's restaurant may have been sparked by a "prank" called "slap cam" that's making the rounds online. Melissa Gilliland, one of the victims, said that she hopes the attackers will be recognized and punished. The video was shot on April 28 at the McDonald's on Howard Street in downtown Baltimore. Gilliland said that she and a friend were sleeping at one of the tables when a stranger walked up and hit her friend. Woodfork found guilty in woman's fatal beating, rape  A man was found guilty of first-degree murder, rape, robbery and other charges late Friday in connection with the fatal assault on an elderly Tulsa woman and the beating of her husband during a home invasion. A Tulsa County jury recommended a life sentence for Tyrone Dale David Woodfork on the first-degree murder charge and returned to the courtroom for a sentencing phase for the other convictions. Woodfork was also found guilty of two counts of first-degree rape, two counts of robbery, and single counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and burglary in connection with the home-invasion robbery and attacks on 84-year-old Nancy Strait and her 89-year-old husband, Bob Strait, on March 14, 2012. - (Black-on-white) |

The teenager, Aazis Richardson, shot his 47-year-old cab driver twice after the latter refused to heed the shortcut route that the teen wanted the cab driver to take. Black named 'White arrested in fatal Rockford hit-and-run had prior DUIs  ROCKFORD — A man charged in the fatal hit-and-run crash that killed 57-year-old David Logterman has a history of DUI convictions and could get up to 30 years in prison if convicted of the most serious allegations facing him. George J. White, 46, who is originally from Rock Island, also goes by the name George White Jr. and may have used other aliases in the past. He was arrested shortly after the crash, which happened before 5 a.m. Tuesday near the YMCA on Route 251. Logterman was on his way to work at SwedishAmerican Hospital at the time of the crash. He was employed at the hospital as an MRI technician. Logterman also served 13 years as the head swim coach at Harlem High School. - (Black-on-white) |
Composite sketch released of dredlocked black suspect in fatal shooting of White man outside hospital  ORLANDO, Fla. — On Friday, investigators released a composite sketch of a man suspected in a homicide outside an Orlando hospital. Alex Mazzan was shot and killed in the middle of the campuses of Winnie Palmer Hospital and Orlando Regional Medical Center Monday. He and a friend, Ronald Scott, were leaving after visiting a mutual friend who was injured in a dirt bike accident. Mazzan, 20, was shot after he and Scott got into an argument with a group of men who drove up in a white Nissan Altima on Lucerne Terrace. The shooter has been described as a black man, between 18-23 years old with short dreadlocks. - (Black-on-white) |

Lawyer: (Black) Murder suspect in death of White woman has intellectual disability  JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The defense lawyer for the man accused of shooting and killing a MetroPCS worker last year has filed a motion claiming his client is intellectually disabled. The lawyer for James Rhodes, 22, who's charged with murder in the death of 20-year-old Shelby Farah (pictured), said that's the finding of a psychologist who examined him. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty against Rhodes, saying he shot and killed Farah after she handed over money in a robbery at the Brentwood store. - (Black-on-white) |

4 blacks plead guilty in home invasion that led to fatal shooting of White man  NEW BERN, CRAVEN COUNTY - A man has admitted to shooting and killing a New Bern resident during a home invasion. His three co-conspirators have also admitted to being involved in the crime. District Attorney Scott Thomas announced Thursday that 23-year-old Titus Dawson pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of 46-year-old Jeff Joyner in 2012. Dawson was also convicted of armed robbery, first-degree burglary, and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Dawson was sentenced to between 21 to 28 years in prison. In court Wednesday, Dawson apologized to Joyner's three sisters. On Tuesday, Riverside resident Christopher Marcus Brown was arrested in connection with the slaying of Jamie Lea Harmer, 32, a transient, Riverside Police Department Sgt. Driver facing charges in Clearwater crash that killed crossing guard, injured 2 girls   CLEARWATER -- A crossing guard was killed and two young girls were injured in a Clearwater crash Tuesday morning in which the at-fault driver and father of the girls fled the scene and was later arrested, police said. The crossing guard, retired Clearwater police officer Doug Carey, was struck and thrown while standing on the northwest corner of Gulf to Bay Boulevard and Belcher Road around 9 a.m. Carey, 70, was a Clearwater officer from 1968 through 1987 and has worked as a crossing guard for the last few years. He was well established in the community and had a wife and adult children. 28-year-old Julious Johnson was driving a black Cadillac at a high rate of speed around 9 a.m. and ran a red light at Belcher Road. The Cadillac collided with a Honda that was traveling in the opposite direction and turning north. That caused the Cadillac to leave the road and strike Carey, who was standing near a concrete pillar at the sidewalk adjacent to the intersection. Two preschool girls, ages 2 and 4, were riding in the Cadillac, and the older girl was ejected. Authorities make second arrest in Iberville Parish camp murder of White man   PLAQUEMINE, LA - Investigators have made a second arrest in the murder of a man at a camp in Iberville Parish. The Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office arrested Darrell Georgetown Jr., 26, of Plaquemine, on Tuesday. He is charged with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder and obstruction of justice in connection with the death of Kye Boudreaux, 26, of Plaquemine. Boudreaux was found shot to death on May 7 in what was described as a "horrendous scene." Detrell Scott, 22, of Plaquemine, was arrested the day of the murder and charged with first degree murder and armed robbery. Sheriff Brett Stassi said Georgetown is a relative of Scott. He added Scott and Boudreaux knew each other. Stassi reported Boudreaux's body was found at a camp off Grand River in Plaquemine. Detectives said Boudreaux was shot in the head. - (Black-on-white) |
(White) Mandarin Middle School boy's beating by black 'youth', discipline angers mother JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Samantha Davis said her 15-year-old son, Wyatt, was beaten up twice Monday at Mandarin Middle School -- once in the locker room of the gym and later in a stairwell. "What they did to my son… is one of the most disgusting things that you could ever see," said Davis. She believes the school staff was clearly negligent by not providing a safe environment and is angered that Wyatt received the same discipline as the boys seen on video beating on her son. "It breaks my heart. He's 15 and he's my baby," Ms. Davis said. "He never stood up. The whole time he just kept getting hit and hit and hit and he never swung back." 3rd stabbing victim released from hospital, black stabber's detention hearing set   CAIRO, IL - A detention hearing for James Nathaniel Watts has been ordered for May 20 at 11:30 a.m. Watts was arrested as a suspect in an armed robbery at the First National Bank in Cairo that left two people dead, according to Illinois State Police. Anita J. Grace, 52, of Olive Branch, Ill., and Nita J. Smith, 52, of Wickliffe, Ky. were killed after they were stabbed. A 23-year-old employee was also stabbed. She was in critical condition. Her identity has not been released. Services for friends of Anita Grace will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20 at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill. The graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Olive Branch Cemetery with Rev. Earnest Brown officiating. Black man convicted of White woman’s 1993 murder  KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A 44-year-old man has been convicted in the cold case slaying of a western Michigan business owner. A jury on Wednesday found Grady Shields, Jr. guilty of first-degree premeditated murder. Lois Cox, a 59-year-old industrial sales business owner in Kalamazoo, disappeared on Oct. 20, 1993. Her body was found six days later inside her vehicle about 20 miles south in Three Rivers. At the time of his arrest in Cox’s slaying, Shields was serving 15 to 25 years in prison for an armed robbery he committed two weeks after Cox’s body was found. Saginaw black man charged in 2010 homicide of White 23-year-old Jessica Callan  SAGINAW, MI — Nearly four years after the homicide of a Midland woman, Saginaw County prosecutors have charged a man in connection with her death. Prosecutors on the morning of Monday, May 19, charged Birl L. Hill with murder in the July 2010 shooting death of 23-year-old Jessica Callan. Hill, 37, is scheduled to appear before Saginaw County District Judge M.T. Thompson on Monday afternoon for arraignment on 12 felony charges, including first-degree premeditated murder and first-degree felony murder. Police found Callan's body on the morning of July 11, 2010, at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Her family and friends have organized vigils in her honor at the cemetery and created a website and Facebook page seeking justice for her. Prosecutors also have charged Jerry W. Simms, 32, with lying to a peace officer. His arrest warrant alleges he lied to state police Detective by telling them he was not in a vehicle with Hill and another male "when Jessica Callan was brought to Saginaw where she was murdered" and that he did not know Callan and had never seen her. Black man's crime spree, including murder of White man, ends with police standoff, arrest  LAS VEGAS -- A Las Vegas man is facing several charges including murder, home invasion and assault with a deadly weapon after Metro Police say he burglarized a home, shot and killed a man at the Wetlands Park and a day later was involved in a standoff with police. 27-year-old Robert Sean Williams burglarized a home near the Wetlands Park in the eastern part of the Las Vegas valley on April 1. Besides taking a video game system, police say he also took a gun and ammunition from the home. While leaving the scene, police say he shot and killed 32-year-old Chester Cullen who was walking through the Wetlands Park. The next evening, police say, Williams broke into an apartment. The woman in the apartment was able to get out safely, and call police. When police arrived at the apartment, they say Williams refused to leave and at one point, pulled out the same gun stolen from the house the previous day and started shooting at police officers. (Black) man charged with capital murder in fatal shooting of White woman during Fort Worth auction barn robbery  A 27-year-old man has been charged with capital murder in the slaying of a Fort Worth auctioneer. Romon Henderson is accused of fatally shooting Sheila Johnson, 54, during a robbery at 4A Good Auction in the 3900 block of Mansfield Highway on April 13. Johnson was shot multiple times in the torso, police said. Henderson was arrested on an unrelated aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge May 4. The capital murder charge was added Thursday. His bail has been set at $235,000 on both charges. Authorities said Johnson shot at burglars who broke into the auction business. They returned fire. Black Co-defendant in Lucky Mart Foods killing of White female clerk gets 12 years in prison   CROWN POINT | A Merrillville man credited for helping convict Jeremy Blue in the slaying of a Lucky Mart Foods clerk was sentenced Friday to 12 years in prison. Donvell A. Edwards, 23, pleaded guilty to robbery. As part of the plea agreement, prosecutors agreed to dismiss charges of murder and murder in the perpetration of a felony. According to court records, Edwards helped plan the March 4, 2012, armed robbery of the Lucky Mart Foods in Merrillville. Police said Blue was walking out of the store with two drawers of cash when he stopped and shot the store's clerk, Judi Simpson-Beaver. Deputy prosecuting attorney Robert Persin said Edwards' testimony during Blue's trial was instrumental in convicting Blue of murder. Blue, 23, was sentenced to 80 years in prison. Persin said Edwards also helped answer for the family why Simpson-Beaver, 48, of Merrillville, was killed. Simpson-Beaver was a Texas native and had two children. Police Arrest Black Man Accused Of Killing White 89-Year-Old Great-Grandmother  COLUMBUS, Ohio - Columbus Police say they have arrested the man who killed a great-grandmother on her 71st wedding anniversary. 89-year-old Anna Mae Eblen was home alone, when police say 58-year-old Willie L. Dumas entered her house on East 12th Avenue in April. Officers say Dumas robbed Eblen of $35 and then slit her throat. Police say DNA evidence links him to the crime. Dumas' sister lives next door to Eblen. Eblen's daughter said she believed the killer knew her mother was alone at the time of the crime. Linda Sloan says her father, Harold Eblen, was in the hospital at the time. She thinks whoever killed her mother, knew it. "This monster watched her. Took advantage of that little lapse moment there and killed her," said Sloan. Sloan says the death has been tough on Eblen's husband who finds the attack too tough to talk about. "They killed her on their 71st wedding anniversary. They got married April 17th and this person killed her on April 17th. Black suspect arrested in Mother's Day double murder of two young white single mothers women that were 'friends'    A suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with the murders of two women in Bossier City last weekend. 26-year-old Brandan Santrell Butler of Bossier City was taken into custody shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday by authorities in Bogalusa, Louisiana and arrested on a warrant from Bossier City Police charging him with two counts of first degree murder. Butler is charged with murdering 24-year-old Jacqueline Darlene Beadle and 26-year old Karyl Ann Cox at their home in the 3000 block of Bragg Street. Police were called to the residence at approximately 8:15 a.m. on Sunday, May 11 after Jacqueline Beadle's mother went to the home and found the two victims inside. Jacqueline's mother had gone to there to check on her after not hearing from her since the Friday before when Jacqueline took her child to her mother's home for babysitting. Police believe Butler, who was friends with the women, shot them both inside the house and then drove away from the scene in Karyl Ann Cox's car which police later found. - (Black-on-white) |

Black Oakland man gets only 6 years in vicious attack on White woman  SAN FRANCISCO — The images are grainy. The attack was quick and violent. Surveillance tape shot last June 30th during San Francisco's Pink Saturday celebration shows a young woman lying on a sidewalk being kicked in the head and knocked unconscious, moments after she was robbed by three people. On Friday, a San Francisco Superior Court judge sentenced 23 year-old Christopher Porter-Bailey, the Oakland man convicted in that vicious attack, to six years in prison. The 28 year-old victim- "Emily" came to court for the sentencing. She said the first time she saw the graphic video, she didn't realize it was her being assaulted. In the victim statement Emily read in court, she called Porter-Bailey's actions "evil" and said she suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and had considered suicide after the attack. Black Jamaican suspect (boyfriend of victim's mother) arrested in murder of White 12 year-old Potsdam boy    Two and a half years after 12 year-old Garrett Phillips was found murdered in Potsdam, a suspect has been taken into custody. Potsdam police arrested Oral "Nick" Hillary, Clarkson University's soccer coach, Thursday afternoon. Hillary was charged with second degree murder after a sealed indictment was delivered to St. Lawrence County court. The suspect pleaded not guilty and is in county jail without bail. Hillary is accused of suffocating and strangling the boy at his home in October 2011. Garrett Phillips’ mother, Tandy L. Deputy U.S. Marshal John Kinsey says Wesnel Isaac was arrested Saturday by Haitian national police in Carrefour, Haiti. U.S. authorities flew to the Caribbean country Thursday and returned to Florida with Isaac. Isaac was being held at the Lee County jail until his first court appearance Friday. Kinsey says a tip led investigators to Isaac in Haiti. Authorities say Isaac was one of four men who killed Robert Barckley, Scott Highfill and Willard Graham in September 2007. The bodies were found in a car in Lehigh Acres. One of Isaac’s codefendants received three life sentences after being convicted of second-degree murder and false imprisonment. Deputies name suspect in Hollywood woman's disappearance  BLUFFTON, SC - The Charleston County Sheriff's Office named a suspect in the disappearance of a missing Hollywood woman. Deputies have identified Jerry Lee Manigault, 53, as a suspect in the disappearance of Julia Ann Mudgett, 77, according to sheriff's spokesman Maj. Eric Watson. Manigault is being held at the Al Cannon Detention Center on unrelated charges, Watson said. Arrest made in 10-year-old (black on White) Hanover murder mystery  HANOVER, VA - Ten years after a man was found shot to death in a car in Mechanicsville, Hanover County Sheriff's have made an arrest in the case. Investigators arrested Devion M. Gentry, 32, in connection with the 2004 homicide of Russell D. Franklin. A deputy found Franklin dead of a single shot to the chest on August 14, 2004. His 1995 light blue Cadillac ran off the road and hit a fence on Old Hickory Drive at Route 360. Franklin was dead in his driver's seat. Gentry is being held without bond at Riverside Regional Jail in Hopewell on charges of first degree murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Police arrest black in connection with terrorism and arson of White woman's house  MIDDLETOWN, Ohio —Middletown police arrest one man and one juvenile in connection with the house fire in the 2000 block of Roosevelt Avenue in Middletown Tuesday. Police said Thaddeus Shields, 18, was charged with aggravated arson, which is a second-degree felony. A 17-year-old juvenile was also arrested and charged with unruly to wit aggravated arson, officials said. Jennifer Chitwood said she has had on-going problems with teenagers in her neighborhood. Chitwood said teenagers have threatened to kill her and her family, and burn her house down. She said she even filed a police report the night before the fire. Chitwood said she didn't feel safe in her home and spent the night somewhere else with her daughter the night the fire was set. Lt. Black Flint teen to spend upward of 30 years in prison despite acquittal of muder of 71-year-old White man  FLINT, MI -- A Flint teen was ordered to spend a minimum of nearly three decades in prison even after jurors acquitted him of killing a 71-year-old man. Estes Jamone Walker, 19, was sentenced Tuesday, May 13, by Genesee Circuit Judge Geoffrey Neithercut guilty of carjacking, first-degree home invasion and unarmed robbery following a four-day trial stemming from the death of 71-year-old William E. Bullock. Bullock, who was severely beaten during the home invasion, died three months later after he was released from the hospital. Officials say Bullock was severely beaten during the Jan. 11, 2013, attack at his home on West Dartmouth Street near Trumbull Avenue. The 71-year-old Bullock suffered face, head and neck injuries. Victims stunned over acquittal in case of 2012 Montgomery murder of White man - 'No Justice'    MONTGOMERY, AL - Pat Bozeman is having a hard time dealing with a jury's decision to acquit the man accused of shooting him in the leg and foot and killing his friend, 59-year-old John Derwin Scroggins. The longtime friends were working on Bozeman's truck with another friend, Shawn Howell, at a storage facility on Crouson Street in Montgomery one night in October 2012 when two gunmen appeared. "They had us at gunpoint as soon as they turned the corner. A friend of mine, Derwin Scroggins, he turned and went into the building and one of the guys followed him and shot him while he was in there and on the way out, he shot me as we were trying to leave," Bozeman said. "They said, 'Give it up!' when they turned the corner but we didn't have anything to give them." According to Bozeman, one of the gunman was armed with a pistol and the other was armed with a shotgun. Derwin Scroggins was shot in the arm and face and then a third time in the back as he tried to run away. Pat Bozeman was shot twice as he tried to run away. He said the entire thing played out in seconds. "I think about it all the time. It's kind of hard to come back down here. There's still blood on the wall inside from Derwin," Bozeman said. Ladarius Frazier, 18, and Jaquincy Croskey were charged in the case with capital murder, attempted murder and robbery. Three (Black African-Americans) Charged in Sunday Murder of Elderly White Man   Meridian, Miss. Three people have been charged in connection with the capital murder of Billy Putnam, 87. Putnam was robbed and shot in the parking lot of Vowell's Market on North Hills Street in Meridian Sunday afternoon. Shon Byrd, 16, is charged with armed robbery and capital murder. Two others, DeCarlos Clark, 36, and Veronica Ferguson, 20, were charged as accessories after-the-fact. Putnam's family is in shock that this happened to an innocent elderly man shopping in the middle of the day in north Meridian. They say even more unbelievable to them is that a teenager is charged with the crime. Police have also confirmed Byrd was wearing an ankle bracelet at the time of the crime due to a previous charge. Black arrested for shooting 8-year-old White boy  NORTH COVENTRY TWP., Pa. - - Authorites have announced an arrest in the shooting of an 8-year-old boy who was riding his bike in Chester County, and police say the suspect's interview on Action News helped them make that arrest. The shooting happened around 5:00 p.m. Friday in the unit block of West Main Street. Police say 55-year-old Wayne Snowden fired a random shot that struck 8-year-old A.J. Hagner. "Drunk" and "erratic" is how North Coventry Township Police described Snowde. Chester County investigators say Snowden walked out onto his porch and randomly shot his gun toward West Main Street. Shelby police arrest black boyfriend in death of 17-year-old white girl  Shelby police said Saturday night they have issued an arrest warrant for the boyfriend of a 17-year-old girl who was shot and killed early Saturday morning. Black South African arrested for murder of White female Australian   The man accused of murdering Jo La Spina ducked his head and tried to shield his face as he was led through Cairns Airport by detectives yesterday. Casually dressed in a blue jumper and black pants, Musa Brandon Ngwira said nothing as he was led through the arrivals hall where more detectives and uniformed police met the group and ushered him into a waiting car. The 31-year-old Mission Beach man, who worked in the tourism industry, was then whisked away to front Cairns Magistrates Court where he was formally charged with murder. He sat with his hands in his pockets and appeared emotionless throughout the brief court appearance where Magistrate Suzette Coates remanded him in custody and adjourned the matter until June. 8 (blacks) charged in (White) South Bend toddler's shooting death -- 2 still on the run  SOUTH BEND - BREAKING: Eight people are facing criminal charges for their involvement in the murder of 2-year-old John Swoveland Jr. of South Bend. Police say the shooting happened during a fight between two rival gangs. Two of the eight suspects are still on the run, say police, and are armed and dangerous. Those charged are: Joshua Hodge - 18 years old - charged with assisting a criminal Tarez Buchanon - 19 - charged with murder and attempted murder Xavier Prim - 23 - charged with assisting a criminal Daniel Williams - 17-years old - Charged with assisting a criminal, carrying a handgun without a license within 1,000 feet of school property Robert Griffin - 19 Charged with murder and attempted murder There are also three juveniles who will be charged as adults: 15-year-old Cedric Washington Jr., 17-year-old Malcom Buchanon and 15-year-old Tyre Bradbury. The two Arkansas men charged with purposefully driving a nearly two-ton car into a group of runners Sunday allegedly described the experience afterward as "fun," according to court documents, and even likened it to playing a popular video game in which criminals cause death and destruction amid big-city traffic.
