The man had just held up the restaurant when he forced the victim to drive him out of the area. As the mother was driving, the gunman sexually assaulted the girl. He then forced the mother to drive to a location where he forced the woman and her child out of the car then raped the mother at gunpoint. The suspect is described as a Black male, 26 to 27 years of age, about 6 feet, with black braids or dreadlocks. Patrick DeJean, 41, plowed into the woman as she talked on a streetcorner pay phone - four years before he allegedly mowed down biker Igor Kruk on Saturdayd. "He's a monster, he's not a human being," said Larisa Kruk, a cousin of the slain man. "People like that should not be walking the Earth." DeJean reportedly laughed when Kruk's friend chased him down after the fiery afternoon crash on a suburban side street in Uniondale, L.I. The alleged killer also called the deadly crash an "accident" as he was led out of a police station yesterday, but authorities scoffed at his claims. "He intended to kill," said a county prosecutor. 100-Year Prison Sentence for Ozie for his 1986 Rape Sodomy and Murder of Woman KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A man linked to a 1986 rape and charged just three days before he was to be paroled from serving time for another rape was sentenced Thursday to 100 years in prison. The victim, so traumatized that she was unable to care for herself and eventually lost custody of her son, died four years after the attack. The son, then 11, was awakened by his mother's screams and found her nude and with a telephone cord wrapped around her neck. Now 30, he came to Kansas City from Texas for Thursday's sentencing of Ozie Banks, 48. He broke into the apartment, woke the woman at knifepoint, told her he had killed her son and cut him to pieces and would do the same to her if she resisted him. Banks, linked to the crime by a DNA match last year, was charged with rape and sodomy, the first time in Jackson County that someone has been charged with rape of a woman who died before the charges were filed. - (war eagle, mr.mojo) - (crime) |
Hurricane Evacuee Wanted For Murder Gave False Name OMAHA, Neb. -- An evacuee now living in Omaha was arrested Wednesday on a homicide warrant. James Camper, 53, was arrested at about 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Motel 6 near 108th and L streets after Omaha police found out he had a murder warrant in New Orleans. Police said he gave a false name when officers confronted him, but fingerprint records showed his real identity. "He denied it was actually him," said Brian Ennis, the U.S. Marshal for Nebraska.  Louisiana law enforcement officials are also looking for another homicide suspect. John Ruffin III, 29, is wanted on a first-degree murder warrant in Assumption Parish, La. Investigators believe he, too, evacuated from his New Orleans home due to recent flooding. Officials said they have no reason to believe Ruffin is in the Omaha area. Officials are distributing Ruffin's picture across the country. Another suspect in that murder has been found in Texas.

Raymond Mata Jr. resentenced to death for the murder and dismemberment of his former girlfriend's 3-year-old son Mata showed little emotion in the courtroom as the judge read the sentence. "Mata's actions were so bereft of redemption that it demands the death penalty." This is the second time Mata has been sentenced to death for this crime. Mata was convicted of the 1999 kidnapping and murder of 3-year-old boy Adam Gomez in Scottsbluff. Parts of the boy's body were found in Mata's freezer and in a dog bowl. Mata's attorneys had contended that electrocution is unconstitutional. Illegal alien Oswaldo Elias Martinez from El Salvador Judged "Incompetent" to Stand Trial for Rape Murder of White Girl   After hearing arguments, a judge ruled that a deaf, mute and illiterate man was not competent to stand trial for capital murder in the rape and slaying of a teenage girl. Oswaldo Martinez, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador, was indicted in May on charges of raping and killing 16-year-old Brittany Binger. Police say they arrested him after learning that DNA from the semen on Binger's body matched DNA swabbed from Martinez's cheek. Psycho Stranger Charged In Murder Of South Milwaukee White Woman - Man says voice told him to kill woman   A Milwaukee man was charged Wednesday in the death of a 21-year-old South Milwaukee woman whose body was discovered at a recycling plant earlier this month. Now, Christine Hemphill's two little boys will grow up without a mother. Police said the man accused of stabbing and strangling her, Timothy J. Berthold, 21, had never seen Hemphill before. Berthold told police he spotted Hemphill at a bus stop near her job. They struck up a conversation. He said they rode two buses together before they both got off and walked behind a car store in Cudahy. Berthold said they "had sex" before "he heard a voice tell him to stab Christine Hemphill." He then took out a knife from his jogging pants... and he stabbed her on her right side - he stabbed her repeatedly. She then fell down in front of the dumpster and that is when he began choking her. Black Teen gets "life" for killing White north Minneapolis flower shop owner   A Minneapolis teenager is sentenced to life in prison, plus three years, for fatally shooting the owner of a north Minneapolis flower shop. Marvin Haynes Jr., 17, was convicted earlier this month of killing Harry "Randy" Sherer last year. Sherer and his sister were working in Jerry's Flower Shop when Haynes walked in, showed a gun and demanded money. The District Judge sentenced Haynes, who was tried as adult, to the mandatory sentence of "life in prison", meaning Haynes won't be eligible for parole until he's 49 years old. The victim's sister came back in here and saw her brother, my brother, laying here in a pool of blood...dead. Doctor accused of rape and sexual battery  The State Board of Medical Examiners has ordered a "permanent revocation" of Dr. Sheran Yeates' medical license. He has a trial scheduled for Nov. 21 stemming from accusations he raped a former female employee. He also was accused of working on patients while intoxicated; engaging in sexual acts with female staff at work and at times "in view of patients"; allowing "untrained and unlicensed" staff to diagnose, prescribe and administer medicine; and billing third parties for medical services he never provided patients. - (KY Orphan) |
| "Randy" Black Man accused of raping pregnant woman at a bus stop KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A man is accused of attacking a pregnant woman at an east-side bus stop. Jackson County prosecutors claim Randy Cooper approached a 23-year-old woman while she sat at a bus stop at 31st Street and Prospect Avenue. The woman said she told Cooper she was homeless, then he allegedly took her to a home and raped her. Cooper was taken into custody and charged with rape. - (NNN forum) - (crime) |
"Randy" nurse's aide accused of raping a paralyzed nursing home resident with Huntington's disease The physician who examined a 44-year-old nursing home resident testified in Superior Court that he believed she had been sexually assaulted. The doctor gave his testimony on the second day of the trial of Randy B. Gordon, 45, of Pittsfield. Gordon, a nurse's aide employed at the Center for Rehabilitation has denied raping a 44-year-old woman with Huntington's disease who resided at the long-term care facility. McHugh said the woman's inner thighs and genitalia were red, swollen and bruised, which he believed was caused by a sexual assault. Gordon took the the alleged victim into the bathroom; minutes later, she began yelling. "She kept saying, 'He raped me. He wanted sex.'" - (-88-) |
Albert Wilson admits he raped a 14-year-old girl relative  A man who admits he raped a young relative is going to prison, but the family's legal fight isn't over yet.They're suing the Columbus School District for failing to report the abuse to police. The girl told three adults at school that a family member was molesting her. Instead of calling the police, the school called a meeting with the accused, who promptly took the girl and left the building. In the end, it was a relative who reported Albert Wilson to authorities. Trial begins for black accused of sexual assault, kidnap and ATM robbery COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The trial began for a convicted burglar, robber and rapist who police believe kidnapped two woman and sexually assaulted one of them earlier this year. Quan Randolph Jordan, 40, appeared in court and faced the two women who have accused him of kidnapping them. Jordan entered the apartment and told one of them to shower. At that time, the other 27-year-old woman said, he forced her to perform oral sex on him. The women said Jordan then kidnapped them, taking them to an ATM to withdraw money. - (Gman) |
Man Sentenced for 1974 'Spam' Murder of police dept. employee while he prepared baskets for the poor on Christmas Eve BALTIMORE -- A judge sentenced a man on Tuesday for the murder of McKinley Johnson in 1974. Michael Hughes, 58, faces a three-year prison sentence for second-degree murder. The victim's sister, Cynthia, said she finds relief in the sentence, but she's still not happy with Hughes' punishment. "He didn't get the time that we may feel he deserved, and he may not get it in this lifetime. But before it's all over with, he will get it," Cynthia Johnson said. Hughes was arrested two years ago in Boston for allegedly stabbing a man he thought was gay. He later confessed to killing Johnson, a Baltimore police department employee, while Johnson prepared baskets for the poor on Christmas Eve. - (NNN forum) |
3 plead guilty in abuse of boys  Sherry Murphy left Faheem Williams' lifeless body unattended for three days on the floor of her Irvington apartment before stuffing him into a hamper. She kept his remains in that plastic container for nearly four months, even taking the box with her when she moved to Newark. When she tired of dealing with Faheem's brothers, Tyrone Hill and Raheem Williams, she locked them in a basement with only a bucket as a toilet and let them starve. Several months later, police discovered the emaciated and feces-ridden boys, then the remains of their brother inside a Newark apartment in January 2003. Sherry Murphy and her son, Wesley, pleaded guilty to the crimes that resulted in the death of Faheem Williams and the abuse and torture of his brothers, his twin Raheem, now 10, and Tyrone, now 7. - (NNN forum) |
Four Black Boys Arrested For Sexually Molesting Girls On Bus TAVARES, Fla. -- Four Lake County students, ages 12 to 14, were arrested for attacking girls on a school bus Friday morning. The boys ripped off female students' clothes and snapped pictures. The four boys victimized three girls on a school bus and at a bus stop. They used a camera phone to take pictures and short video clips as they pulled the girls' clothes off. The four were charged with felonies: lewd and lascivious molestation and simple battery. The four forcefully held female classmates down while riding a school bus. "During this time, the boys fondled their breast area under their shirt and also their genital areas over their clothing, then pulled down their shirts and to expose their breasts so that they could photograph them," said Sgt. Christie Mysinger. Keson Evans, Ronterius Hubbard and brothers Dexter and Devonte Maxwell were all booked into jail. - (-88-) |
Suspected serial low-down Arlington rapist caught  Police caught a suspected serial rapist Monday that allegedly was involved in several attacks of Arlington women. The suspect, Michael Anthony Tristan, is a registered high-risk sex offender after an incident involving a 10-year-old boy in Houston. Now, police are investigating whether the man is also linked to recent assaults on women in North Texas. All of the alleged attacks happened within two miles of one another in Arlington.
