Black arrested for murder of White man in Fort Pierce FORT PIERCE — A 20-year-old man was arrested Wednesday on a homicide charge following the death of a man found in May with a gunshot wound to the head. Arkevius Rasharad Malone, was arrested in connection with the death of Joseph Brown. Police spokesman Ed Cunningham said Brown was 57. Brown was found dead May 26 in his apartment. Brown’s family went to pick him up, but no one answered the door. The family asked that the front office check on Brown’s residence, and workers found him in a pool of blood next to his bed. A single .380 caliber cartridge casing was on the bed, but no firearm was recovered. Brown’s phone records, obtained by his son, showed the last 13 text messages to and from Brown’s phone, all May 24, were from the same number. The victim in a burglary case at Malone’s listed address said on June 30 her home was burglarized and her boyfriend’s necklace was among the items taken. She identified her boyfriend as Arkevius Malone. She gave his phone number as the same one police said was involved in the texts with Brown. Malone was arrested June 20 on an unrelated case and has been in jail since then. On July 20, investigators went to talk to Malone in jail, and he denied knowing Brown or contacting him. The next day, an investigator intercepted a phone call Malone made to his girlfriend “in which they spoke about something bad Mr. Malone had done.” “You know what I’m talking about, what happened a long time ago,” Malone is quoted as saying. Malone referred to speaking with investigators and said, “What happened a long time ago, that came up. They tried to get to me, but I didn’t break.” Malone’s girlfriend told police Malone met a man on Facebook and arranged to meet him to borrow about $40. She remembered driving Malone to an apartment complex to get the money about a month before July 21. She said she dropped Malone off about 6 p.m., and said he returned to their home on Wilkins Avenue about 9 p.m. or 10 p.m. She said she asked Malone if he’d gotten the money and he said he had. “She stated Mr. Malone had his head down and stated he had done something bad,” an affidavit said. She told police Malone carries guns and has photos of himself on Facebook handling guns. - (Black-on-white) |

Sociopathic black brute who attacked strangers & White female police officer with hammer is unapologetic The raging brute who used a black claw hammer to attack four strangers — including a young female cop — in Manhattan in 2015 couldn’t muster even an apology to his victims as he was sentenced to 22 years in prison Wednesday. Justice Michael Obus asked defendant David Baril, 32, whether he had anything to say. “Nah,” he answered in Manhattan Supreme Court. Baril previously copped to attempted aggravated assault on a police officer and three counts of second-degree assault as part of a plea. Assistant District Attorney Courtney Groves described Baril’s “brief but substantial reign of terror” that began May 11, 2015. The hammer-wielding hobo admitted that he first struck a 20-year-old man in the back of the head near West 35th Street and Sixth Avenue. Baril then made his way south to Union Square Park, where he randomly whacked in the head a 28-year-old woman seated on a bench and bashed a 33-year-old woman near West 17th Street. Two days later, eagle-eyed Police Officer Lauren O’Rourke recognized him in Hell’s Kitchen from NYPD “wanted” photos and approached him, Groves said. The psycho lost it and chased her into a busy intersection, battering her with the hammer. His rampage came to an end when O’Rourke’s partner, Geraldo Casaigne, shot Baril four times. - (Black-on-white) |

Black (muslim?) Convicted Felon Sentenced Up to 100 Years For Shooting (White) Delaware County Police Officer Donte Brooks Island has been sentenced to 33-100 years behind bars for shooting suburban Philadelphia police officer Christopher Dorman last June. Island pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted murder, two counts of assault on a law-enforcement officer and gun offenses in the shooting of Officer Dorman, who was shot seven times during a response in Delaware County for drug activity. Dorman, then 25, was shot in the face, leg and groin in Folcroft as he approached people suspected of smoking marijuana behind an apartment building. Island fled after the shooting, prompting a three-hour manhunt. The 34-year-old was later arrested at the same apartment complex. After the sentencing hearing Thursday, Dorman said, "I think he should have been put away for a lot longer." "I'm very fortunate I'm able to speak, to see Dante get the sentence he did," Dorman said, "Police officers are a target in this country and world today, and I think stricter sentences are needed for crimes against law enforcement." Dorman has recovered after multiple surgeries and returned to police duty. Island served about nine years in federal prison on a gun conviction before his release in 2013. His sentence in the shooting of officer Dorman includes about a year of the time he has already served. - (Black-on-white) |
