2 (White) College Students Duct Taped, Robbed At Gunpoint (by black home invaders) PITTSBURGH — Two University of Pittsburgh students showed up at the Sunoco in Oakland Monday morning, but they didn’t come to shop. They were there because they say two men broke into their apartment and duct taped their arms. “I just heard noise at my door, somebody opened my bedroom door, I looked up there’s a man holding a gun, telling me to be quiet,” Arthur Forbes said. Forbes is a fourth year student at Pitt. He lives on Niagara Street with three other roommates, but around 5 a.m., two other men entered their home through an unlocked back door. “[He said] I’m looking for cash, looking for money, I didn’t know what to tell him, we’re college students,” Forbes said. “The first thing I saw was Art, taped up with a gun to his head. And yeah, they just demanded money from me too,” said victim Ryan Foster. Foster did give them his cell phone and wallet, and the unwanted intruders left the two roommates in a basement bathroom. They are described as black males – one with a red hoodie and black ski mask the other a white hoodie and white ski mask. When it seemed like the coast was clear, the pair ran out to a nearby Sunoco gas station for help. - (Black-on-white) |

A teen accused of attacking and trying to kidnap a woman at West Acres in Fargo nearly two years ago has been found guilty. A jury convicted Abdirahman Sahel in Cass County District Court on Friday morning. He was found guilty of robbery, terrorizing, simple assault and criminal attempt, three of which are felonies. Sahel was 15 years old at the time of the attack, but his case was moved to adult court. |
(Black) Man went into Boulder home, tried to rape woman, police say BOULDER, Colo. -- Boulder police are trying to find the man who went into a home and tried to have sex with a woman he didn't know at 4 a.m. It happened in the 2600 block of Colorado Avenue, near the CU campus, on Saturday morning. "The adult female victim was asleep on a couch and awoke to a man trying to have sex with her," Boulder police said. The suspect was described as a black man, 25 to 35 years old, 5’8” to approximately 5’10” with a stocky build. Police released a sketch of the suspect Sunday. |

Police say on Friday, September 2nd, DSPD troops received information that Marcus Smith, 32 of Wilmington, was running a prostitution ring out of a Rehoboth area motel. Detectives and Special Agents with Homeland Security began searching hotel surveillance footage, in addition to communicating with a phone number associated with prostitution advertisements posted on www.backpage.com. |
(Evil black) Framingham State Police Officer "Dormevil" Accused Of Inappropriate Conduct Arrested, Placed On Leave FRAMINGHAM — A Framingham State University police officer accused of inappropriate conduct over the weekend was arrested and placed on leave from the school, university officials said in a statement. Wilter Dormevil was charged with open and gross lewdness, wanton and lascivious conduct, and witness intimidation, Framingham Police said. The university said in a statement that FSU police were notified of the unspecified inappropriate conduct around 12:30 p.m. Saturday, and that Dormevil was immediately relieved of his duties. They said he is banned from the FSU campus as authorities investigate. |

(Black) Sex offender arrested at Brooks High School The Lauderdale County Sheriff Office has charged a convicted sex offender for failing to register his employment and accepting a job on school property. According to Lauderdale County Chief Deputy Richard Richey, Corey Dorsey, was arrested Thursday at Brooks High School and charged with not following sex offender employment restrictions and failure to register employment as a sex offender. As a registered sex offender, Dorsey can't work within 2000 feet of school property. |
Atlantic City police shooting Wounded officer condition upgraded An Atlantic City police officer wounded in a shooting early Saturday morning is now in critical but stable condition, police have announced. Officer Joshlee Vadell, 29, is a nine-year veteran of the police force. He was shot in the head as he exited his patrol vehicle about 2:30 a.m. Saturday near Caesars Atlantic City. He and another uniformed officer were approaching three men allegedly engaged in criminal activity. Two are now charged in the armed robbery of three others. After the officer was struck, the other officer fired back, striking one of the suspects — Jerome Damon, 25, of Camden — who collapsed and died less than two blocks away. Martel Chisolm and Demetris Cross are charged in shooting that wounded Officer Joshlee Vadell. Vadell's wife put out a statement Monday. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the officer and his family. |

(Black) Madison County arson suspect arrested The Madison County Sheriff's Office announced Friday that they had made an arrest in relation to a mobile home fire in the 300 block of Manly Road. A preliminary investigation indicated the fire was caused by arson. Sheriff Blake Dorning said they arrested Christopher Lumark Minor, 44, in relation to the fire. Minor was arrested in the area of Borderline Road and Greenville Pike. He was then charged with Arson Second Degree and Probation Violation. |

Woman charged in her toddler son's drowning at apartment pool in Homewood HOMEWOOD, Ala. — A mother has been charged in the death of her son who drowned in the pool at a central Alabama apartment while she shopped at Walmart. 29-year-old Davida Samantha Flint left her 2-year-old son Caden Jemison and two other children at home while she shopped. Homewood police said she initially told them she was home during the incident, but surveillance video from Walmart showed she was at the store when Jemison drowned at the Chastaine Park Apartments on July 26. |
(Black) Suspect in custody, another sought after ramming police cruiser CONYERS, GA - Police have a suspect in custody and are searching for another following a crash involving a Conyers Police cruiser. The incident happened around 1 a.m. on August 19 as an officer was trying to pull over a vehicle that was driving without it's headlights on. The vehicle was turning from West Avenue onto the I-20 ramp when the officer attempted to make the stop. Police eventually caught up with the driver who rammed the patrol car. Shcharanskey Cooper was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault on an officer, theft by taking and several traffic-related charges for the ramming incident. |

Black arrested for setting his stepfather on fire SCHENECTADY — Schenectady Police on Sunday arrested and charged a man with attempted murder after he allegedly lit his stepfather on fire. Andrell J. Leppanen, 29, allegedly intentionally threw gasoline on his stepfather and lit him on fire on Friday, causing significant injuries that led to the victim being airlifted to Westchester Medical Center, police said. Dante Martin, 36, was handcuffed to a gurney, had his feet shackled and was under police guard at Richmond University Medical Center moments before he attacked the cop tasked with guarding him and trying to wrestle her gun from its holster on Sunday, police said. The cop uncuffed Martin after he urinated on himself and asked to use the bathroom. Once freed, Martin punched the cop repeatedly, knocked her to the ground and tried to snatch her pistol, police said. |

According to the office, Jason B. Miller was convicted for murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and received two 50-year prison sentences. 25-year-old Sergeant Colby Bozo and his wife Kristen were struck by Miller’s vehicle while they were driving June 25, 2015. Officials said Miller was evading police in a stolen vehicle when he ran a red light and struck the Bozos’ vehicle. (Black and white) Pair charged with murder after (White) man beaten to death outside Fayetteville restaurant FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Two men have been charged with murder after a man was beaten to death in a parking lot outside a Fayetteville restaurant early Sunday morning, police said. Fayetteville police officers responded to the parking lot of 301 Wingz at 407 N. Eastern Boulevard in response to a reported fight just before 12:30 a.m., police said. According to a preliminary investigation, the victim and two men were inside the restaurant before the fight. When the three men left, they began to fight while in the parking lot. The victim was beaten, suffered serious injuries and left unconscious in the parking lot, police said. Police and the victim’s stepson, Joseph Hinton said that the man killed was Michael Mansfield, 52. Sunday afternoon, Fayetteville Police announced they arrested two men in the murder. Hubert Underwood II, 37 and Steven Rosser, 26, are each facing one count of first degree murder, police said. According to a 2014 Fayetteville Observer article, Mansfield was a “born-again former drug dealer and free-base cocaine addict.” |

According to reports, officers were flagged down by passers-by regarding an injured man lying in the 2200 block of Fannin Street about 2:50 a.m. on March 30. Hughes was interviewed about the shooting at the store in the 5500 block of Leopard Street by Corpus Christi Police Department homicide detectives. Around 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 24, suspects busted out the rear glass door of Nancy Quest’s house. When she saw them in the house, they beat her over he head with her walker. They also stole her TV and purse, which had many of her credit and debit cards. “I'm angry anyone would come to my house and wreck it and hurt me," said Quest. The 79-year-old had four gashes on her head and cuts to both of her eyes, as well as a concussion. “There was no reason to beat her up. She’s 79 and uses a walker. When you pushed her down, she wasn’t going to get back up. Authorities seek to ID 6 (BLACK) men in shooting of Atlantic City cop The attack came after the uniformed officer and his partner got out of a marked patrol car at 2:34 a.m. Saturday to check a group of people "engaged in criminal activity." One officer was shot as he exited the cruiser while another returned fire, hitting at least one suspect. Authorities said the suspects scattered in different directions. Police found one suspect dead. Five "suspects/and or persons of interest" were at large. Video footage released by investigators shows two groups of three men walking at 2:26 a.m. in an unspecified area of Atlantic City, Ruberton added. "The first group appears to be 3 black males wearing, from left to right: a white shirt, a light-colored shirt, and a dark shirt—the man in the dark shirt appears to be taller than the other two men." Police: Two Raleigh officers shot armed (black) man, killing him Raleigh, N.C. — Police said Friday that a preliminary investigation shows two police officers fired multiple shots at an armed man Monday in an east Raleigh neighborhood, killing him. The Raleigh Police Department typically updates the city manager within five days of any officer-involved shooting, and the five-day report report on the death of 24-year-old Jaqwan Julius Terry reiterated many of the details released hours after the incident on Donald Ross Drive. Senior Officer B.K. Burleson responded to a 911 call about a man with a gun outside a home at 241 Donald Ross Drive, and the woman inside told him that she had broken up with Terry earlier in the day but that he had shown up at her home with a gun and told her he wouldn't allow her to leave him, according to the report. |
(Dreadlocked black man) Wanted For Sexually Assaulting 5-Year Old Girl In Jackson Park CHICAGO — Chicago Police are searching for a male who sexually assaulted a 5-year-old girl Wednesday in Jackson Park. Between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., the girl was in a parking lot in the 6300 block of South Lake Shore Drive when a male walked up and “made inappropriate sexual contact” with her, according to a community alert from police. The incident occurred next to the Jackson Park beach house. When the girl’s mother called to her, the male ran to his blue pickup truck with a black cab and drove away, police said. He was described as a black male with dark eyes, a dark complexion and shoulder-length, black and gray dreadlocks or braids, police said. He wore black pants, a gold necklace and bracelet and a blue shirt with a word printed on it containing the letters B, C and Y. |
(Black) Man Acquitted of Almost All Counts in Shooting of (White) Delco Officers (because they did not recall announcing their presence) A man who argued self-defense in the shooting of a police officer has been acquitted of nearly all charges. 37-year-old Darrel Burt was convicted Friday in Delaware County of recklessly endangering a civilian. But Burt was acquitted of a dozen other counts, including attempted murder of police officers, attempted voluntary manslaughter and assaulting an officer by discharging a firearm. Police said he fired two shots at a Ridley Park officer responding to an August 2015 report that he had threatened to kill himself. Defense attorney Wana Saadzoi asked three officers whether they announced their presence. All said they didn't recall having done so. (White female) Selma teacher (at black school) charged with sex with 15-year-old student after video surfaces SELMA, AL - A Selma High School teacher has resigned and faces multiple charges after police say obscene footage she sent to a student she’s been having an affair with surfaced on social media this week, garnering thousands of views as it was shared by members of the student body. Charlaina Lee Wilson, 33, of Knoxville, AL, worked as an agriculture science teacher for eight months at Selma High School, according to Police Chief John Brock. He identified her as a married woman and mother of a small child. She was arrested Friday and charged with school employee engaging in a sex act with a student under the age of 19 years, rape second degree, sodomy second degree and distributing material harmful to minors. He’s now 15 but this relationship sounds like it’s been going on since he was 14. |

(Black) Hayward man convicted of murder for shooting of (White) 80-year-old woman HAYWARD -- A 23-year-old man was convicted of first-degree murder Thursday for his role in the fatal shooting of an 80-year-old East Bay woman during a home-invasion robbery in 2010. The Alameda County Superior Court jury deliberated for two weeks before announcing its verdict in the trial of Ayodele Patterson. Patterson was convicted for his role in the killing of Carolyn Pavon in her Hayward Hills home. Pavon, the widow of a longtime Oakland firefighter, was shot four times while on her living room couch reading a book. She was a grandmother and a great-grandmother who had several family members in the area. The 80-year-old woman planned on going to Disneyland with her great-granddaughter before she was killed. Prosecutors said Patterson was one of three men, along with Lionel Harris and Donnie Howard, both of Hayward, who participated in robbing and killing Pavon. Harris, 25, was charged with murder but pleaded no contest to manslaughter in a deal that promises a 12-year sentence in exchange for an honest testimony. Howard, 26, was convicted last December of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Police say the high school student was riding the bus from school to an after-school program on Aug. 25 when the incident occurred. The bus video shows him grabbing another student's hand and using it to hit the little girl, identified by her family as Jazmyn Peters. Officer Jesse Hartnett PHILADELPHIA — A trial date is set for suspect charged in the ambush shooting of Philadelphia Police officer Jesse Hartnett. Edward Archer will stand trial on October 21. Archer is charged with attempted murder, among other charges. He is accused of shooting Hartnett as he sat in his patrol car in West Philadelphia in January. Investigators say Hartnett took three bullets to his arm, but was able to return fire, wounding Archer. (White) Man dies from injuries in vicious beating, robbery (by black) in Trenton TRENTON — Authorities say a 60-year-old man who was viciously attacked, robbed and left unconscious on a South Trenton street earlier this month has died. Stephen Merrill died late Wednesday at Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he had been on life support, the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office said. He had suffered a brain bleed, collapsed lung and multiple broken bones. His alleged attacker, Jonathan Weathers, 25, of Trenton, currently faces attempted murder and robbery charges. But prosecutors said at his bail hearing Wednesday that the charges would be upgraded to murder if Merrill succumbed to his injuries. - (Black-on-white) |

(White) Man killed in South Loop shooting ID'd; (black) suspect charged CHICAGO -- A man from Chicago's Woodlawn neighborhood was charged in the murder of a new father in the city's South Loop. The 45-year-old victim, William Smith, of the 1900-block of South Indiana, was the father of a young child. Smith was shot and killed in an alley in the 1800-block of South Michigan Avenue around 10 a.m. Sunday. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Neighbors said they believe the victim was robbed because they heard an argument and then a gunshot. They also said he was hoping to sell his condo so he could move to Florida. Robert Burgess, 56, was arrested in the 5100-block of South Wentworth Avenue just over 12 hours after the shooting, police said. Prosecutors allege Burgess drove up to Smith, pulled out a gun and demanded money and, when an argument ensued, opened fire. - (Black-on-white) |
Canada: White grandmother shot dead - two dark suspects - possibly a Somali migrant Toronto police say they believe a shooting that left a grandmother dead in a Riverdale community housing complex on Saturday was targeted, but that the 61-year-old woman wasn't the person the gunmen wanted to kill. Police originally said Peggy Ann Smith was found with an apparent gunshot wound in an alleyway behind a home near Don Mount Court and Kintyre Avenue shortly after 6:15 p.m. on Saturday and was pronounced dead at the scene. Dickinson described one suspect as a male with a brown complexion in his twenties, approximately 5'6 tall with an average build. The man has a full beard and was wearing dark pants, a grey hoodie with the hood up and black cap at the time, the detective said. The second suspect is described as black, of Somali descent in his late teens or early twenties, approximately 5'11 with a skinny build. Third Man Indicted in Connection to Kelley Clayton's Homicide Breaking news as the Steuben County Grand Jury indicted a third man in connection to the death of Kelley Clayton last September. The Steuben County Sheriff's Office, along with New York State Police, arrested 49-year-old Mark Blandford of Elmira Tuesday. Blandford is indicted for two counts of Second Degree Murder, one count of Burglary, and two counts of Conspiracy. He was arraigned Tuesday afternoon in Steuben County Court and sent to the Steuben County Jail on $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 property bond. The top count alleged against Blandford carries a maximum sentence of 25 years to life. The trial of Michael Beard, who is an alleged accomplice in the death of Kelley Clayton, is scheduled to begin in October of this year followed by the trial of Thomas Clayton in January of 2017. Parents say (White) Greenville Co. man shot to death (by blacks) over speakers GREENVILLE, SC - Deputies are investigating after a man was found shot to death Wednesday night. Arriving deputies found the man's body in the roadway. The coroner identified the victim as 25-year-old Christopher Shane Satterfield of Greenville. Satterfield sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Satterfield was involved in an altercation with 22-year-old Shamar Raekwon Sullivan and 24-year-old Shake Javonte Curry. Deputies said Sullivan and Curry chased Satterfield in a vehicle behind two separate suspects in another car, 18-year-old Desmond Jackson and 20-year-old Elijah Williams. While being pursued, Satterfield reportedly crashed his vehicle at which time Jackson and Williams fled the scene. Deputies said Sullivan and Curry confronted the victim as the crash seen during which time Curry pulled out a handgun and shot Satterfield at least once, killing him. - (Black-on-white) |
