Out in the Southwest scrublands of Arizona and Texas, some hardy Americans have been trying to make a living punching cows and doing those other things close to the earth that many people in the East long ago stopped doing and which they seem to have forgotten is the way those steaks make it to the tables of the fou fou yuppie restaurants they haunt.

Unfortunately, it's much harder to ranch, or even live in many areas of the Southwest, these days, thanks to the foreign invaders, mostly from Mexico, who are trying to take over the U.S. and who are trespassing all over private land while destroying the ranches and attacking the ranchers and their families, and who are bringing in drugs by the truckload to sell to American kids.

You'd think President Bush would be sensitive to the needs of the ranchers and others in that part of the country. After all, Bush owns a ranch...well, sure, it's more a make believe Dude Ranch where Bush can pretend he's a cowboy and a rugged individualist instead of being a silver spoon rich kid who went to private schools in New England. Still, Bush's Dude Ranch is geographically in the area of the main invasion.

Surely, Bush must have invaders coming across his land. Oh, right, elite Mr. Bush's land is protected by fences and an army of secret service agents and other government types who do their job of keeping people off Bush's private land. You see, Mr. Bush's land is, well, different and needs to be protected, because, gee, Mr. Bush is an important guy and he's above ordinary citizens. Gosh, he's like royalty, and can't be expected to have his land invaded the way ordinary peasants have their land invaded. Hey, those complaining ranchers are nobodies (and whisper, whisper, they're probably a buncha racists).

So, the ordinary citizens in the area don't get such government help. "Hell, let 'em eat tacos," seems to be Bush's attitude to the cries from American citizens for a stronger border. Yep. Bush has bigger, more important things to worry about. Why, there's that Saadam feller, thousands of miles away in a country that looks like a giant sandbox. Geez, Saadam might drop camels on America. Gotta lasso him.

Some say that Bush isn't the brightest prep-school sugarfoot in the arroyo, and maybe that's why he can't get his priorities straight,and why he's worrying about Iraqi citizens who aren't attacking us, instead of worrying about Mexican citizens who are. Others say that it has something to do with the fact that President Bush's brother Jeb is married to a Mexican and has children who the first President Bush called "those little brown ones over there." Some others wonder if Mr. Bush is a bit out of his saddle. Still others say it's simply Bush's attempt to get more votes and there are more Latinos in the country than Arabs.

Whatever the cause for Mr. Bush's blindness toward the plight of ordinary American citizens, the fact is that he's doing little or nothing to stop the invasion and transformation of the U.S. into a Third World nation by brown racists who hate everything that America stands for except it's money, and who consider themselves, first and foremost, Mexicans. This doesn't sit well with many citizens, who want the best for their families and who realize that making the U.S. into a new Mexico is not going to be best for their families.

At any rate, in the best traditions of public service, and perhaps being mindful of John F. Kennedy's famous line "And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you--ask what you can do for your country," many ordinary, good, decent citizens are organizing patrols to protect their land along the border with Mexico. After all, citizens have the responsibility to protect themselves. And, they must act to do so when those they have delegated some authority to, refuse to protect them.

Some ranchers report that they don't even walk to their barns anyore without a gun because of fear of being attacked by criminals who have snuck across the border. Others report that illegal aliens have slit the throats of the ranchers' dogs, and there's one report of a ranch woman having her kitchen invaded by illegal aliens who demanded food from her.

The way it is supposed to work in our society is that we have a division of labor. Ordinary citizens do one type of labor, ranching, for example, and delegate certain of their authority to the government to do other types of labor--including protecting citizens. If the government fails to do it's job, it is incumbent on the citizens to take back that authority and protect themselves in legally acceptable ways. Turn it around. Suppose the ranchers and farmers of this nation simply refused to produce food the way the government is refusing to protect our borders. Would the government elites starve, or would they start raising their own food? You know the answer. One always has the right and responsibility to protect oneself from harm. You can delegate authority; but you can never delegate responsibility.

With the above in mind, it's easy to see that citizens always have the right to reasonably protect their land, even if many brown racists and their supporters, who are trying to turn the U.S. into a Mexican colony or worse, don't want them to know this or do this.

"No taxation without borders," might eventually become a slogan of the American citizens fighting to protect America. For the time being, however, many citizens are simply out there patrolling their own private land and the border to keep their families safe from the invaders. And most, if not all, of these citizens are simply observing and reporting the presence of invaders to the authorities so that the authorities can't deny knowledge of the invaders and will be forced to do more than just wink and nod at the criminals who are invading. Given the proclivity of left wing haters to cause trouble by infiltrating citizen groups with agents provocateurs who then instigate lawlessness and violence that can be blamed on innocent citizens, this is a good policy on the part of these citizens.

But, what are these good, decent American citizens getting for their legal public service? They're being called names by brown racists and their supporters who want to take back several U.S. states for Mexico or for a new nation that may be called Aztlan after a mythic area that supposedly was once inhabited by, or walked over, or dreamt about by Indians from Mexico, perhaps, thousands of years ago. This land that they call Aztlan that they want to conquer and take away from the U.S. is comprised of the states of California, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and portions of Nevada, Utah and Colorado. It's a big chunk of the U.S., and the invasion by absorption is underway. Millions and millions of brown racists are illegally walking across our borders and taking up residence in America where many of them get free medical care, free food, free clothes and more.

In a way, it's an ingenious invasion, and might serve as a model for modern warfare and domination. Had it come with tanks and guns, even the likes of George Bush might see it for what it is and move to protect citizens. Well, maybe not George Bush. But, others who are in politics might see that we are being invaded and move to repel the invaders.

As the invasion continues, we're seeing real world examples of the expression "the inmates are running the asylum" popping up in different places. In the last election, Mexican Americans and their supporters in the Aztlan state of Arizona elected a guy named Raul Grijalva to the U.S. Congress.

What does Senor Grijalva want to do when he goes to Washington in January? He told the Arizona Daily Star that one of his first jobs will be to ask the FBI to investigate the links between the groups of citizens working to protect our border and...are you ready?... "white supremacist groups." Oh, no! Not white supremacists! Yep. Grijalva figures that the American Border Patrol, Ranch Rescue and Civilian Homeland Defense, three of the groups trying to protect America, are...are you ready, again?..."racist organizations." Oh no! Not racist organizations! Yep. Geez. And, they probably pull wings off flies and steal candy from babies.

It's like it used to be with the commies. We've got white supremacists and white racists under every bed, it seems. At least that's what some want everyone to believe. It's an easy equation: if you want open borders you're okay. If you want our borders to be actual borders and to be defended, you are linked to white supremacists and white racists. Ho hum, yawn. If you're white, these hate terms are supposed to act live Pavlov's bell to elicit a conditioned response. Instead of salivating like Pavlov's dogs, you're supposed to be bludgeoned into silence on the subject of illegal immigration and you're supposed to want to distance yourself from those who want to protect the border--after all, protecting the border is like dragging a black guy behind your pickup truck, right? That's what you're supposed to think when you hear terms like white supremacists and white racists. Of course, such name calling is often just more of the usual hate mongering aimed at white people.

However, until a sufficient number of white people once again regain their sense of who they are and feel comfortable with themselves and can laugh in the faces of those calling these names, they'll continue to be bullied into silence on important national matters such as immigration, race, and other things that we are expected to genuflect in front of and treat like sacred cows to avoid being un-PC. Go ask Trent Lott about this. Go ask any other whites who have dared to stand up to the intimidation or who have spoken out in ways that go against hte current orthodoxy.

In its article on Grijalva, the Star forgot to mention that Grijalva is a former member of Movimiento Estudiantil de Chicanos de Aztlan or MEChA. At a 1997 meeting of MEChA held in Arizona where, according to the Arizona Daily Wildcat, there were "huge banners of "Che Guerva, a Cuban revolutionary, hanging from the walls," Grijalva urged the younger MEChA members to continue to carry the torch. And what is that torch that they should carry? Grijalva wasn't completely clear on this point, and I don't pretend to know what was in his mind, but some clues about MEChA and it's approach to white people can be found in the Spiritual Plan of Aztlan (El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan) put out by MEChA:

El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan In the spirit of a new people that is conscious not only of its proud historical heritage but also of the brutal "gringo" invasion of our territories, we, the Chicano inhabitants and civilizers of the northern land of Aztlan (much or all of the present California, Texas and Arizona) from whence came our forefathers, reclaiming the land of their birth and consecrating the determination of our people of the sun, declare that the call of our blood is our power, our responsibility, and our inevitable destiny. We are free and sovereign to determine those tasks which are justly called for by our house, our land, the sweat of our brows, and by our hearts. Aztlan belongs to those who plant the seeds, water the fields, and gather the crops and not to the foreign Europeans. We do not recognize capricious frontiers on the bronze continent. Brotherhood unites us, and love for our brothers makes us a people whose time has come and who struggles against the foreigner "gabacho" who exploits our riches and destroys our culture. With our heart in our hands and our hands in the soil, we declare the independence of our mestizo nation. We are a bronze people with a bronze culture. Before the world, before all of North America, before all our brothers in the bronze continent, we are a nation, we are a union of free pueblos, we are Aztlan.

So, a Congressman-elect who belonged to a group that uses the racial hate terms "gringo," and "gabacho" to describe European- Americans and which speaks of a "bronze continent" and which calls European American citizens "foreigners," wants the FBI to investigate American citizens for defending their property. Welcome once again to post-American America--a place where white people are second class citizens even to non-citizens who are breaking our laws.

Instead of being called names, the good, decent citizens who are protecting America when our government won't, should receive medals and commendations for their public service. Hopefully, enough citizens will see through the hate mongering to understand what is at stake: the continued existence of the United States of America as a sovereign First World Nation.

Will Senor Grijalva renounce those who use hate speech against white Americans once he's in Congress? We'll have to wait and see. Of course it's doubtful that his colleagues will even bother to ask him to do so. After all, Grijalva isn't a gringo and the real danger to America is gringos.
