Cruz Bustamante
HE'S BROWN, HISPANIC, AND FAT & ONCE BELONGED TO
A GROUP THAT CRITICS SAY HAS BROWN RACIST BELIEFS
(But is that enough to get him elected?)
by H. Millard (c) 2003

California's Lt. Governor, Cruz Bustamante, wants to replace his boss, Gray Davis, who will most likely to be recalled on October 7.

Cruz BustamanteBustamante has a lot going for him in post-American America California. He's brown. He's Hispanic. He's fat. And, even better, he once belonged to a Hispanic organization that critics say has brown racist beliefs and wants to take back California and give it to Mexico while running off all the white people.

Even with all of the above in his favor, some are wondering if more is needed to win the governorship of the less than golden Golden State that has been driven down to Third World levels by incompetent politicians including Gray Davis and Cruz Bustamante.

Yellow dog Democrat - (c) 2003 by NNNWill legions of racist brown people show up to vote their skin color on October 7? Will hordes of illegal aliens vote? Will gaggles of self-hating white liberal twits put down their designer water bottles and swish down to vote for Bustamante just because he isn't white? Will some elite union bosses, whose unions are now full of Hispanics, including many suspected illegal aliens and brown racists, be able to fool white working people into voting for Bustamante by convincing them that their interests are the same as the interests of the brown racists who hate their guts? Will white working people once again prove just how stupidly aracial they are and vote for Bustamante because he's wearing a Democrat wrapper? Will white middle class, yellow dog Democrats vote for Bustamante, just because being a Democrat runs in their families?

Perhaps not.

MEChAWell, maybe if white masochists, who like to be Mau Mau'd and who hate themselves, and other European-Americans, and America, know more about this guy they'll be sure to turn out and vote. Perhaps the following will help. Back in his college days, Bustamante was a member of MEChA. Some critics say that MEChA has brown racist views. Could it be that those who are saying this are overstating the case? Consider the facts: 1. MEChA's slogan is "For the race, everything. For those outside the race, nothing." The race (La Raza) that they are referring to is composed of mestizos or brown skinned people. 2. MEChA wants to take back California and most of the U.S. southwest--all of which they call Aztlan--for Mexico. Having one of their pals in the governor's mansion in California is a big step in that direction.

Although the skeletal cockroaches in Bustamante's closet are now having some light put on them by the conservative media, the mainstream liberal media is mostly silent. The Los Angeles Times, ever liberal, appears to be working overtime to puff up Bustamante and hide what this guy really appears to be about.

On the front page of the Times on Friday (8/29/03), there's a photo of Bustamante with a caption that reads, "The candidate answered questions about his days at Fresno State University, where he was a member of a Chicano activist group. 'That's how I got here today, by getting involved,' he said."

The "Chicano activist group" is the aforementioned MEChA. Activist? Cripes. They want to give California to Mexico and they apparently don't like white people. That's pretty activist. Why didn't the Times say anything about that? And doesn't that business about "getting involved" make the guy sound like he's the kind of person we need running California? "Shucks, Ma, we need someone who is involved and that there Bustamante feller sure is involved. Why it says so right here in the Times."

Then, also on the front page, under a photo of Schwarzenegger, the Times writes, "The actor made his first campaign trip outside Southern California, and deflected questions about a 1977 interview in which he described drug use and group sex."

Schwarzenegger isn't a "candidate" like Bustamante, but an actor. He didn't answer questions like Bustamante, he "deflected" them. And, the Times didn't euphemize away Schwarzenegger's past as it did with Bustamante's. "Shucks, Ma, that there Schwarzenneger feller is just a shifty and frivolous actor who was involved in wild sex and drugs. It says so right here in the Times."

Last week, the Times even had its own poll that showed Bustamante way ahead of Schwarzenegger. One suspects that the poll was mostly wishful thinking on the part of the Times. My instincts tell me that Schwarzenegger is really about 15 to 20 points ahead of Bustamante, Nope, I don't have any polls to back this up. What I have are my political instincts that are picking up the buzz from the streets. My instincts on these things have usually been right.

So far, Bustamante has refused to renounce MEChA or its beliefs. Imagine the outcry that you'd be hearing from the likes of the LA Times if a white candidate had a similar background. Yet, the Times is soft pedaling Bustamante's background.

Dianne FeinsteinBarbara BoxerAnother thing to remember is that Bustamante is the standard bearer of the Democrat Party in California. What does that tell you about what was once a fine American political party? Where are national Democrats on this issue? Why are Senators Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer backing Bustamante? Do they also support MEChA and its goals?

If you said that the Democrat Party in California is now full of anti-white brown racists who don't like America, you'd probably be close.

Peter UeberrothTom McClintockJoe Guzzardi - anti-immigration candidateJoe Gonzales - (not running for Governor)But, what about the other two reasonable conservative Republican alternatives to Bustamante--Peter Uberroth and Tom McClintock? They're both capable, but this isn't their time. Ueberroth has no real base and should be bright enough to know that he's just being a spoiler. He should drop out as soon as possible McClintock is a favorite of many immigration reformers because of his outspoken positions on immigration, but he has no real chance of winning. He lacks charisma. He should drop out by the end of September. If Uberroth and McClintock don't drop out and instead take away enough votes from Schwarzenneger to allow Bustamante to get into office, one suspects that immigration reformers, conservatives, and Republicans will never forgive them.

Arnold Schwarzenegger If Schwarzenneger becomes governor, will he be good for immigration reform? Once again, my instincts tell me that he will be. The reason is simple: he's pragmatic and he seems honest in wanting to fix California's problems. The only way to fix these problems is by immigration reform. If he doesn't know this now, he'll learn it in the first week he's in office.
