NYC: BOYCOTT Puerto Rican Day Parade for planning to honor pardoned terrorist Oscar Lopez Rivera. Commie Council Speaker Melissa "Crazy Eyes" Mark-Viverito is circulating a letter urging New York lawmakers to rally around the embattled Puerto Rican Day Board, which has been stung by boycotts for planning to honor pardoned terrorist Oscar Lopez Rivera. The move comes as outraged Hispanic police groups and Goya Foods pulled support from the 60th national Puerto Rican Day Parade to be held on June 11th for honoring Rivera. The pardoned man, who has been linked to one of deadliest terrorist groups ever to target New York City, is being honored with the parade’s first “National Freedom Hero” award. Rivera 74, had his 70-year sentence commuted by outgoing President Barack Obama in January after serving nearly 36 years in prison following his conviction of conspiracy and sedition charges for his ties to the Puerto Rican nationalist group, FALN, which was responsible for more than 100 bombings in the 1970s and 80s — including the 1982 blast at NYPD headquarters that left an officer maimed and a 1975 attacked that killed four at Fraunces Tavern in the Financial District. |

(BLACK) Man who murdered (WHITE) Wichita State University coed - and raped the corpse - died before killing’s 40th anniversary The man who brutally murdered a Wichita State University coed in 1977 died in a Colorado prison last month – just short of the slaying’s 40th anniversary. Leonard L. Bell was given a life sentence for the May 15, 1977, stabbing death of 19-year-old Julie Ladd. Ladd, a freshman at WSU, encountered Bell in the basement of her dormitory at about 1:30 a.m. after she went down to do her laundry that day. Prosecutors at the time said she interrupted him as he was trying to steal money from the coin-operated machines. He stabbed her to death with a boning knife when she fought his rape attempts, according to The Eagle’s news archives. Afterward, he sexually assaulted her dead body, prosecutors contended at his trial and sentencing. The killing, which stunned the city, went unsolved for seven years. By then, Bell was already serving a life term in Colorado for murdering a woman there in 1981. A Sedgwick County judge handed Bell a similar sentence for Ladd’s slaying and ordered it be served consecutively to the Colorado case. At the time of his April 17 death, 62-year-old Bell hadn’t yet begun serving the life term he received for stabbing Ladd, Kansas Department of Corrections spokesman Todd Fertig said. The 40th anniversary of her murder was Monday. - (Black-on-white) |

Las Vegas: black man dies after resisting arrest by HISPANIC officer - taser used 7 times to no effect - Martial Arts chokehold being questioned A Las Vegas police officer used a stun gun seven times and a mixed martial arts chokehold to subdue an unarmed man who died after a foot chase through a casino over the weekend, authorities said Wednesday. Officer Kenneth Lopera thought the man had tried to carjack a pickup truck with two people inside before the officer fired the stun gun in a series of staccato bursts and used the chokehold — a tactic that is not approved by the department — early Sunday at The Venetian resort, Clark County Undersheriff Kevin McMahill said. "Don't move! Get on your stomach!" Lopera can be heard telling the man who the Clark County coroner identified as Tashii S. Brown. Lopera, who is white, and Brown, who is black, then wrestle as the officer attempts to handcuff him. Lopera punches Brown's head and neck from behind as Venetian security guards join the effort as other police officers arrive. Sheriff Joe Lombardo told The Associated Press there was no indication that race played a role in the incident. |

Protests follow (White female) Tulsa cop’s acquittal in fatal shooting of 'unarmed' black man (under influence of powerful drug PCP) TULSA, Okla. -- A jury late Wednesday acquitted a white Oklahoma police officer who says she fired out of fear last year when she killed an unarmed black man who had his hands above his head. The verdict led almost immediately to protests. Terence Crutcher's family burst into tears and expressed outrage after jurors found Tulsa officer Betty Jo Shelby not guilty of first-degree manslaughter in the Sept. 16 shooting. "Let it be known that I believe in my heart that Betty Shelby got away with murder," Crutcher's father, Rev. Joey Crutcher, said after the verdict was announced. At least four of the 12 jurors were crying as they left the courtroom and they did not look at either the family of Crutcher or Shelby. The jury comprised eight women and four men and included three African-Americans. An autopsy showed PCP was in Crutcher's system, and police said they found a vial of it in his SUV. |

Georgia Man Shoots Another Eight Times over Hot Pocket, ‘I Just Snapped’ A Georgia man was sentenced to life in prison for shooting and killing his sister’s boyfriend after a dispute over a Hot Pocket snack, prosecutors said. Prosecutors said that the now convicted killer, Nathaniel Mathis, had asked his sister’s boyfriend, Rodney Benton, to buy some pepperoni Hot Pockets when they went to the store. But the pair came back on that June day in 2016 without the snacks telling Mathis that they were not in stock. In addition, the two ended up leaving all the groceries back at the store because Mathis’s EBT card had no money in its account so they couldn’t pay for the items. The three began arguing about the incident over the phone, and when they returned home the argument quickly turned violent, police said. “The defendant was home and still upset when he approached the SUV,” the Fulton County District Attorney’s office said. During his trial, prosecutors said that Mathis approached the two as they got out of the SUV, said, “you know what’s going on,” then pulled a gun and shot Benton eight times killing him. |

Kentucky Roman Catholic priest reaches plea deal on sex abuse LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A Catholic priest has reached a plea agreement on sexual abuse charges that occurred at a summer camp in Kentucky that he ran for decades. R. Joseph Hemmerle was facing allegations of abuse from a second person who said Hemmerle abused him at Camp Tall Trees in Meade County. Hemmerle was also convicted in November of abusing a boy who attended the camp in the 1970s. Prosecutors say Hemmerle’s plea deal for sexual abuse and wanton endangerment includes a 10-year sentence, but it won’t add any extra prison time to the sentence he is already serving in the first case. Hemmerle entered an Alford plea Wednesday, which means he didn’t admit guilt, but acknowledged that prosecutors could win a conviction in court. Hemmerle has been on leave since 2014. |

That led deputies to Green, who reportedly admitted to helping Brooks remove watermelons from the dock and into a truck. The business owner told deputies the watermelons were worth $1,750. |
