Community Mourns the Loss of 66-year-old (White) hockey fan - stabbed to death in his home by (black) woman ILION, N.Y. -- "I'm gonna miss him. I like Gary, I'm gonna miss Gary", said Andrew Trask. Andrew Trask is just one of the many people who say they knew Gary Eckler, and wish he was still around. The 66-year-old was the victim of a fatal stabbing on Clark Street in Ilion, Friday. Police arrested 24 year old Crystal Pullin and charged her with manslaughter in the second degree, assault and criminal possession of a weapon. We're told Eckler was an avid hockey fan and was an off-ice official at the Utica AUD. A moment of silence was held in Eckler's honor at the beginning of the Comets game, Friday night. In a statement, Utica Comets President Robert Esche said, "We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Gary Eckler. He was a longtime member and supporter of Utica's hockey community and our condolences go out to his family and friends". "Gary was always nice. I've never seen him get angry or I've never seen him get mouthy or anything like that. I knew him since I was in school and he always seemed to be a real nice guy," said Trask. And while loved ones continue to mourn Eckler, police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death. - (Black-on-white) |

Two (blacks) charged with murder in death of (White) Caseyville man ST. CLAIR COUNTY, IL - Murder charges have been filed in the homicide case of a St. Clair County man. Early Tuesday morning, a violent home invasion took the life of Nicholas Hood, a 24-year old Caseyville man. He was shot when he answered the door to his trailer in the 1800 block of Apache Street, near Caseyville. The Major Case Squad of Greater St Louis was activated to investigate and detectives identified and arrested four persons of interest. The suspects and victim shared an acquaintance that led them to the victim’s house. On Friday, the St Clair County State’s Attorney charged Terrion Stevenson, 20, of Cahokia, and Orlando Adkins, 21, of Belleville, with First Degree Murder. - (Black-on-white) |

Man Charged With Sex Trafficking Of 15-Year-Old Girl A man wanted for the sex trafficking of a 15-year-old girl was arrested at his northwest suburban Streamwood home Friday. Derrick Hill, 41, was taken into custody by Streamwood police on a $1.5 million arrest warrant for involuntary sexual servitude of a minor, according to a statement from the Cook County sheriff’s office. |

Two men arrested for sexual assault against two children under the age of sixteen, one man is county employee Two men were arrested Friday after police say they were charged with criminal sex act for crimes against two children under the age of sixteen. Andre Lomax, 50 and Keith Wilcox, 59 were arraigned Saturday and officials say Lomax works for Monroe County. According to the county's director of communications, the county is trying to determine what to do with Andre Lomax and say he is still technically employed. They're going through his union contract to see what their options are. Friday night, Rochester police charged both of them with multiple counts of criminal sexual act. Police told us the two victims are under the age of 16 and that the alleged crimes happened at the homes of Wilcox and Lomax between 2012 and 2015. |
2 Jersey City men arrested in Garfield home invasion - rape GARFIELD — Officials say two northern New Jersey men have been arrested and charged with sexual assault and armed robbery during a home invasion. The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office said Sunday 22 -year-old Xavier Epps and 21-year-old Tymell White, both of Jersey City, are charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault, armed robbery and armed burglary among other charges. Authorities say Garfield police received an emergency call after 12:30 a.m. Saturday. Police say three or four men forced their way into the residence using handguns and forced two women and a man to the floor. Officials say Epps and White sexually assaulted one female victim at various times. They're charged with taking cash, cell phones and other electronic items. |
Man arrested in attempted sexual battery, shooting LAKE CITY, Fla. - The Columbia County Sheriff's Office arrested a man Saturday accused of forcing a woman to drive to a hotel, trying to sexually assault the victim, then shooting her. Deputies responded to Lake City Medical Center after a woman arrived with a gunshot wound. Investigators said the victim was shot by Jeffery Clark Jr., 25, at the Budget Inn in Lake City. The investigation revealed Clark met with the victim early Saturday morning and got into the victim's car uninvited. Clark produced a handgun and insisted the victim drive him to his grandmother's house. Once at the home, Clark insisted the victim drive him to the store and then to the Budget Inn, where the victim was forced to get a room. Once in the room, Clark made sexual advances towards the victim, who rejected him and went to the bathroom. Clark then shot through the bathroom door, striking the victim. |
Man charged with sexual assault of 23-year-old woman in Near West Side CHICAGO -- A man has been charged in connection with the sexual assault of a 23-year-old woman in the city's Near West Side. Anthony Titus, 23, was arrested after being identified as the suspect who allegedly sexually assaulted the woman in the 2100-block of W. Madison Street around 5:10 a.m. on Oct. 15, police said. The victim was hospitalized in stable condition. Titus faces a charge of aggravated criminal sexual assault. |
Police ID 1 of the suspects in fatal Livermore shooting LIVERMORE, Calif. -- Police have identified one of two suspects in a fatal shooting at the Livermore Arcade Shopping Center on First Street Saturday night. Police say that two adult males in their 20s were shot inside of a vehicle in the parking lot of the busy shopping center. One of the victims has died and the other went into surgery. The suspect has been identified as 18-year-old Oakland resident Jason Alexander Brown. Police have have obtained a no bail warrant for his arrest on one count of murder and another count of attempted murder. Police say he is still at large and considered armed and dangerous. Police say the two were armed with an assault rifle. |
Dallas police look for 'Batman' accused of killing 'Pancho' over $5 Police are looking for a 22-year-old man accused of assaulting in September a 47-year-old man who died two weeks later at a Dallas hospital. Police say Christopher Bateman, known as “Batman,” assaulted Fransisco Landaverde-Garcia, who went by “Pancho,” Sept. 23 at a Texaco gas station in Far East Dallas. Landaverde-Garcia died Oct. 6 at Doctors Hospital at White Rock Lake. Batman claimed Pancho owed him $5, police said. |
Arrests Made in Briggs Chaney Area Homicide Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department- Major Crimes Division have arrested two suspects for the October 8 homicide of 22-year-old Garrett Alexander McClees that occurred in the Edgewood Neighborhood Park. Earl Junius Bennette, age 24, of an unconfirmed address, and Shante Gladden, age 22, of an unconfirmed address, were arrested yesterday afternoon and have been charged with first-degree murder and armed robbery. Black POS sexual predator suspect in custody for murder of White woman DALLAS — There's been a big break in the murder case of 18-year-old Zoe Hastings. U.S. Marshals arrested Antonio Lamar Cochran early Saturday morning after detectives matched DNA found at the crime scene with a criminal database. Cochran, 34, was apprehended at an apartment in Northeast Dallas. He was charged with capital murder. Bond was set at $2.5 million. "He's obviously a sexual predator that's been taken off the streets, hopefully not to do this ever again," said Dallas police spokesman Maj. Max Geron. Police: (Black) Suspect pushed 74-year-old (White) woman into river The search for the suspect involved in an attempted robbery and carjacking in Gates continued on Thursday. Police say the suspect attempted to rob a realty office on Chili Avenue Wednesday afternoon before fleeing to Sprucewood Lane and carjacking a woman. The Gates police chief says he then drove the woman into Rochester and ditched the car on the edge of the Genesee River. Thursday, police said the suspect pushed the 74-year-old woman into the Genesee River after the carjacking -- and that she didn't just fall on her own. That means when this suspect is caught, he'll face an attempted murder charge. "Luckily this lady was in great shape and she survived the fall into the water," says Gates Police Chief James VanBrederode. "And was able to get herself to the side, but clearly this could have been a homicide yesterday. There's no doubt about it." The suspect is a black male about 5-feet-7-inches wearing a blue hoodie and black pants and carrying a black handgun. (Black) Man gets 20 years for robbery that led to fatal heart attack, death of White man GREENWOOD, SC -- A man has been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter after he stole a laptop from a 68-year-old Greenwood man who died of a heart attack during the struggle. A jury convicted 26-year-old Wayne Michael Smith. He pleaded guilty Monday to strong armed robbery before his trial began. Circuit Judge Frank Addy Jr. sentenced Smith to 20 years, the total maximum on both charges, and took the unusual step of ordering the sentences to run consecutively. Prosecutors say Smith went to Phillip Baer's apartment in July 2013 to collect a debt and tried to steal a laptop when Baer said he didn't have the money. Third black man gets 42 years for beating a (White) homeless veteran to death BLOOMINGTON – One of three men who beat a homeless veteran to death in O’Neil Park in June 2014 has been sentenced to 42 years in prison. Willie Chambers, 19, pleaded guilty earlier this year to the murder of Ronald D. Smith. The prosecution argued Chambers should receive 60 years, while the defense argued for 30 years. In a statement to the court, Chambers said he’s sorry for what happened and that he did not mean to kill Smith. Tory Washington also pleaded guilty to killing Smith. The third defendant, Anthony Davis-Dickson, was found guilty of first degree murder in August. Both Washington and Davis-Dickson have yet to be sentenced. - (Black-on-white) |

(Black) convicted for "cold-blooded and callous" 2006 murder (of White woman) sentenced to 60 years in prison PEORIA — Calling the 2006 slaying of Robbin Underwood as “cold-blooded and callous” as he’s seen, a Peoria County judge on Friday sentenced one of the men involved to 60 years in prison. Judge David Brown decried the March 16, 2006, shooting that left Underwood dead and her niece, Jennifer Lindler, seriously injured. Lindler had gone to the 1300 block of North Ellis Street to buy drugs from Micah Foreman when they were ambushed by Allen S. Fitzpatrick Jr. and several others who were in a rival gang. Fitzpatrick, now 35, and others opened fire on Foreman, missed and then turned their attention to the women, who were unarmed. At least three weapons were fired at the women, who were trapped in a pickup truck. Underwood died from a gunshot wound to the head. Lindler suffered several injuries to her legs, hips and body. “If ever there was a definition of lack of regard for human life, that’s it,” Brown said. - (Black-on-white) |

Sterling victims possibly assaulted based on ethnicity - pack of six or more blacks - possible 'hate crime' STERLING, Va. -- A man and his friends may have been assaulted based on their ethnicity in a parking lot in Sterling, Va. Sunday. The incident happened in the parking lot of the Lake Center Plaza in Sterling, Va. around 2 a.m., Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Detectives believe there may be other victims in the case and are asking them to come forward. A man and his friends got into an altercation with the suspects. Two of the suspects pulled out firearms that were hidden under their shirts. Officials said maybe six or more people were possibly targeting the victims based on their ethnicity. One of the victims was pushed to the ground by a suspect. According to officials the victims tried to follow the suspects, however were not able to find them. The victims then called authorities. The suspects are being described as black males. One suspect was about 5'11" tall and has a heavy build and was wearing a red hat. Another suspect had dreadlocks. There were seen leaving the scene in an older model Lincoln Continental and a navy blue Toyota Rav4,. |

Convicted (black) serial rapist Michael Sykes back in court * Detroit man gets 121 years for sexual assaults DETROIT - A convicted serial rapist was back in court today for reportedly assaulting a sheriff's deputy at a courthouse. Police say 21-year-old Michael Sykes tried to choke a female deputy. It happened when Sykes tried to run while being escorted from court back to jail. Earlier this month, Sykes was found guilty on multiple kidnapping, rape and armed robbery charges. His sentencing in that case is scheduled for Friday morning. |

Two blacks arrested in Wisconsin in connection with Winona homicide WINONA, Minn. - Two people have been arrested in Wisconsin in connection with a deadly shooting in Winona. The Winona Police Department said in a statement Friday that Lonnie Lavonte Keymone Hudson, 23, was arrested in Wausau, Wis. Thursday night after leading police on a chase. A warrant had been issued for his arrest for several charges, including 2nd degree murder, 1st degree aggravated robbery, and 2nd degree assault. "The Marathon County Sheriff's Office worked with the other agencies to try and locate the homicide suspect in Wausau, and they successfully apprehended that suspect here," said Capt. Ben Bliven of the Wausau Police Department. According to police, a second person, Kayla Maye Clay, 18, was arrested near Ettrick, Wis. and is being held in Trempeauleau County jail on preliminary charges of aiding an offender - accomplice after the fact. According to police, officers arrived Sunday at an apartment on Gilmore Avenue to find Adam Tylor Fort, 31, of Winona, had been shot once in the torso. Medical personnel worked to save Fort, but he was later pronounced dead at the scene. |

Black Registered Sex Offender Sentenced To 158 Years For Murder Over $10 Cable Bill LOS ANGELES — Prosecutors say a 57-year-old Los Angeles man has been sentenced to 158 years in prison for killing a woman and wounding her boyfriend over a $10 cable bill. Deputy District Attorney Joshua Ritter says Kenneth Theodrick Parks was sentenced Thursday after being convicted last month of one count of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder. Jurors also found true gun and great bodily injury allegations. Ritter says Parks and 42-year-old Terri Smith rented rooms at a South Los Angeles home and had a longstanding argument over the unpaid cable bill. Ritter says Parks was outside Smith’s room when he opened fire on April 14, 2014. She was killed but her boyfriend, who had been shot twice, was able to grab the gun and hit him with it. |

“I was really scared:” Black man tries to lure young (White) girl into his car outside elementary school WAUKESHA -- A Waukesha fifth-grader is speaking out after she says a man tried luring her into his car. The attempted enticement happened Wednesday afternoon, October 21st just outside Heyer Elementary School and police are taking this incident very seriously. Police have increased patrols and school staff is on alert after this incident -- especially when kids are being dropped off and picked up and during recess. On Thursday, the young girl and her father said they want everyone to know what happened. "I was really scared," said Genevieve Vanderwalt. Genevieve Vanderwalt was looking for her ride on Wednesday afternoon, when a stranger approached and said her grandpa was up the street. "I was walking there, and then right there, almost around the corner, he told me to get in his car," said Genevieve. Genevieve didn't know the man -- and instinct took over. "I just ran and I didn't look back," said Genevieve. "Genevieve had got to the house and she said that someone had tried to abduct her. Immediately, I went from zero to a million," said Peter Vanderwalt, Genevieve's father. Genevieve told her father and police came to her home. She gave them a denoscription of the African-American suspect. "He was an oldish man. He had white stubble and he was wearing a red, puffy jacket and blue jeans," said Genevieve. - (Black-on-white) |
10-Year-Old Fights Off Attempted Kidnapper in Costa Mesa; Teen (with dark skin) Sought After a 10-year-old girl fought off an attempted kidnapper in front of her Costa Mesa home, police said Thursday they are searching for a man in his late teens. The girl was waiting for a school bus by herself in the 3200 block of Turlock Drive on Thursday Oct. 15 when the man approached her, the Costa Mesa Police Department stated in a news release. The man, believed to be in his late teens, grabbed the girl around her waist and began to physically carry her away. The girl managed to break free and ran into her home, where she immediately contacted a relative, police said. The teen sought was described as having dark skin, with short black hair and a goatee. Judge denies bail for to black charged with murdering a White woman in 1988 PORTLAND, OR - The man charged with killing an aspiring actress in Portland in 1988 will remain in the Multnomah County Jail. Multnomah County Judge Kelly Skye denied bail for Walter Wayne Howard on Thursday morning, concluding the evidence in the case is strong enough to keep him behind bars while awaiting trial. Howard, now 60 years old, is charged with the murder of Renee Harvey, who had moved to Portland from Montana to pursue an acting career. She was a secretary for the Oregon Special Olympics. The 25-year-old was found dead in her Buckman neighborhood apartment on Jan. 15, 1988, a few days after her apartment was burglarized. Harvey believed her neighbor, Howard, had broken into her apartment. The original investigators suspected Howard was involved in the murder, but did not have enough evidence to arrest him at the time. - (Black-on-white) |

(Black) Suspect in (White female) teen's abduction captured The man suspected of abducting a 16-year-old Knoxville girl early Thursday has been captured, police said. William Henry Leonard Jr., 32, of Knoxville is accused of kidnapping the teen at gunpoint in the course of an armed robbery reported about 1:50 a.m. at a Townview Drive apartment near downtown. Leonard’s arrest was announced shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday, a couple of hours after the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation added him to the state’s Top 10 Most Wanted List and offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to his arrest. Details of his capture were not immediately available. The girl, Harlea Hunter Webster, was found just after 11 a.m. near Summit Hill Drive following a tip to police, according to the Knoxville Police Department. (Black) Suspect charged in (white) teen's murder at James Cayce Homes public housing NASHVILLE, TN - Metro police have made an arrest in the murder of a teen at the James Cayce Homes earlier this month. Ian Patterson, 17, was shot on Oct. 11 while standing outside his car in the parking lot of the public housing development on South 7th Street. Officers found Patterson in the driver’s seat of his car, he was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he later died. In a tweet, Metro police said 18-year-old Quantarius Newsom was booked Thursday afternoon for Patterson’s murder. Investigators said Patterson was robbed and shot after coming to the area to buy cocaine. Newsom allegedly admitted his involvement in the shooting in an interview with police. - (Black-on-white) |

Mobile Rev. Edwin White (pal of Jesse Jackson) indicted on 3 counts of child sex abuse Rev. Edwin White has been in the news before. White was arrested by a U.S. Marshal and charged with three counts of child sex abuse in reference to a grand jury indictment on Wednesday. "The crime was not related to the church," Mobile County DA Ashley Rich said. Mobile Police officer Terence Perkins said that there were three female victims who came forth in early 2015. They were all three from White's family. White has been arrested 12 times before, for issues such as failing to pay child support and domestic violence. He was also arrested once before for child sex abuse, in 2009. White is known for organizing events such as the MLK Jr. Day march. |
Man wanted in Krispy Kreme car theft, child sexual assault caught Kansas RIVERDALE, Ga. -- Authorities in Clayton County said, Thursday, that a man accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a teen after stealing a car has been caught hundreds of miles away. Authorities said Tyreek Bowers-Rivera was arrested in Kansas by the state's highway patrol after finding him driving a stolen vehicle. After a vehicle pursuit and a manhunt that lasted for several hours, Bowers-Rivera was taken into custody. The arrest comes after Rivera-Bowers allegedly jumped into a car sitting at the Krispy Kreme doughnut shop on Highway 85 in Riverdale, Ga. on Oct. 14. As the car's owner was walking out of the shop, she realized that her vehicle and daughter had been taken. Rivera-Bowers is said to have held the girl at gunpoint. |

Dallas PD looking for possible victims of black sexual predator with blond hair DALLAS – An alleged sexual predator was arrested last week after a woman was able to escape after he tackled and attempted to sexually assault her. According to Dallas police, on Oct. 14, a woman was walking home near South Central Expressway and Great Trinity Forest Way when she was tackled down an embankment by a suspect who then attempted to sexually assault her. The victim was able to get away from the man and call police, who canvassed the area and located the suspect, Denzell Bryant. He was arrested and charged with attempted sexual assault, a third-degree felony. Police are looking into the possibility Bryant was involved in other crimes. Bryant is a 21-year-old black male, 5-foot-9, and 190 pounds. He has short blonde hair and several tattoos. |
Police, prosecutors decide to hide case of rape in a Courthouse bathroom A joint discussion between police and prosecutors led to the decision to withhold information from the public about a reported rape at the Edward J. Costello Courthouse in Burlington, a top detective said Thursday night. An online story on the Burlington Free Press website Thursday afternoon about the reported rape in the second floor ladies bathroom and the arrest warrant for a missing suspect sparked a hastily called news conference. Burlington Police Sgt. Michael Warren, director of the Chittenden Unit for Special Investigations, said authorities had planned to keep the rape complaint under wraps while trying to capture Robert Rosario, 32, of Burlington and the Bronx in New York. Investigators searched for one week for Rosario with no luck. It was unclear if Rosario had fled Vermont. He also is known by a few street names, including “Z,” “CC” and “Dior,” court records show. The woman who said she was attacked, who said she knew Rosario, reported she was confronted by him upon leaving a bathroom stall, court records show. |
Fayetteville police make arrest after woman forced into woods and sexually assaulted FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Fayetteville police said a 50-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a sexual assault near Person Street and Eastern Boulevard Tuesday. Boyd Douglas Marsh, II, of the 800 block of Deep Creek Road, was charged with first-degree kidnapping. On Tuesday around 4 a.m., detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Special Victims Unit were notified of a sexual assault that occurred in the area of Person Street and Eastern Blvd. The investigation revealed the victim was walking along Person Street near Eastern Blvd when she was approached by the suspect. “The suspect forced the victim into a nearby wooded area where he sexually assaulted her. The suspect then left the area on foot,” Fayetteville Police said in a press release. |
School failed to tell parents about teacher at the Harlem middle school who abused students: suit The parents of a 14-year-old girl are suing the Department of Education, saying administrators failed to tell them her teacher was a sexual predator — even as their daughter, who later revealed she was also a victim, was struggling in school because of the abuse. It was not until November 2013, a month after finding out that Adiyemi Prowell was removed from the public school Renaissance Leadership Academy for assaulting a classmate, that the girl, identified under the pseudonym “Abby” in the filing, told her parents she had been abused. Abby started crying and revealed that “Prowell had been inappropriately touching her starting when she was an 11-year-old sixth-grader,” the suit says. Prowell had allegedly abused five other students. He is expected to get off without any jail time. |

MTA bus rider throws urine at driver in the Bronx: NYPD THE BRONX – Police are looking for a MTA rider who threw urine at a bus operator in the Bronx more than two weeks ago. NYPD said the culprit boarded the MTA bus BX12 about 5:15 p.m. on Oct. 1 when he got into a verbal dispute with the 58-year-old bus driver. When arriving at Pelham Bay Station, the 20-year-old man allegedly threw an object containing urine at the bus driver and fled westbound on Westchester Avenue, police said. The bus driver suffered irritation to his face and eyes and was taken to Jacobi Hospital. |
Missing Fla. girl's mother charged with abuse of corpse BRADENTON, Fla. -- Police have charged a Florida mother with abuse of a dead body in the case surrounding the presumed death of her missing 11-year-old daughter Janiya Thomas. Bradenton Police Chief Michael Radzilowski said that detectives had obtained a warrant for the latest charge against 31-year-old Keishanna Thomas. The girl's mother remains at the Manatee County jail on contempt and child abuse charges. Authorities believe they found the body of Janiya Thomas last week in a relative's freezer. A recent autopsy was deemed inconclusive in terms of whether the body belonged to the missing girl. |

He's charged with 1st Degree Murder and 1st Degree Arson. JOHNSON CITY, N.Y. -- A community is grieving after two children died in a house fire early Monday morning. Johnson City Firefighters were called to 145 Floral Avenue at 1:58 a.m. where a fire had engulfed a multi-family home. Two children were trapped on the third floor and were taken to UHS Wilson Hospital where they later died. "It took them a while cause they had to put the fire out to get to the third floor, so it delayed their time to get up there," Johnson City Fire Chief Rob Jacyna said. The children's parents were able to escape the fire, but not without suffering severe burns. They were transported to a burn unit in Syracuse. Two (black) men accused in brutal pack attack of off-duty (White) Army captain outside a Plaza restaurant KANSAS CITY, MO - Two Kansas City men are facing assault charges after an off-duty Army captain was brutally attacked outside a Plaza restaurant. Raymond P. Robinson and Antonio D. Stuckey each face charges of first and second degree assault after two men were seriously injured when they were hit and stomped outside the Mexican restaurant. The 37-year-old Army captain suffered a significant loss of blood after he suffered numerous broken bones in his face, possible optic nerve damage to one of his eyes and a skull fracture. He was hospitalized for more than a week before the combat veteran returned to Fort Leavenworth where he continues to get treatment. The captain and a group of friends were dining last month at the Zocaola Mexican restaurant. The captain accidentally bumped Robinson, prosecutors allege. The man bumped tried to start a fight, and restaurant management kicked him out. About 12:10 a.m. Sept. 19, the soldier walked out of the restaurant and the man he bumped and a gang of his buddies were waiting for him because they were "looking for a fight," according to a Kansas City Police Department report. A witness said the suspect sucker punched the soldier. The gang started "boot stomping" the prone man. Nightclub employee zip-tied, robbed; interracial couple arrested PORTLAND, Ore. — Two people face kidnapping and robbery charges for their alleged involvement in an armed robbery at a Northeast Portland tavern on Oct. 17. That night, an employee at the West Wynn tavern on NE 102nd was tied up and robbed near closing time. A woman, later identified by police as Christie A. Dillman, came into the tavern as the employee saw a man “pacing out in front of the business” on surveillance video, court document revealed. When the man came in, the employee asked to see his ID. The man, later identified by police as Laboyce Daniel Ross, said he didn’t have any ID and began to argue. When Dillman and Ross began to leave, Ross pulled a gun and told Dillman to zip-tie the employee’s hands to a metal bar in the bathroom, documents showed. More than $2000 was taken from the cash register as they fled. The robber had dread locks. As detectives viewed the surveillance video, they recognized Ross. When his home was searched, court documents said, a dread lock wig and an airsoft gun were found. |

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has canceled the Amber Alert in the case. Original story: The Knoxville Police Department has issued an Amber Alert for a 16-year-old girl abducted at gunpoint. Harlea Hunter Webster is a white female standing 5 feet, 4 inches and weighing 100 pounds, with blue eyes and dyed black hair, the alert states. She was last seen wearing a red shirt, gray jacket, gray sweat pants and a dark gray beanie cap. The suspect is described as a 35-year-old black man standing around 6 feet tall and weighing around 220 to 230 pounds. (Black) Ex-Austin Police Officer charged in pregnant girlfriend's death BASTROP COUNTY, Texas — Former Austin Police officer VonTrey Clark has been indicted on a capital murder charge in the death of his pregnant girlfriend, Samantha Dean. Bastrop County records show the Grand Jury indicted Clark on Oct. 21. According to the indictment paperwork, Clark caused the death of Dean by “shooting Samantha Dean with a firearm, and intentionally or knowingly caused the death of another individual, Madeline Dean.” Clark currently sits in the Bastrop County Jail, where he’s been since Sept. 3 when he was deported from Indonesia. Clark, 32, was handed over to 13 agents of the FBI and was flown to Texas on a specially chartered plane from the bureau. A search warrant revealed police believe Clark hired a hit man to kill Dean and her unborn child. Court documents revealed Clark and Dean were in an ongoing romantic relationship. Clark told homicide investigators he had “a sexual relationship” with Dean that was “off-and-on over the last six or seven years, and that he believes he is the father of Dean’s unborn child, Baby Dean.” The documents detail that Clark wanted Dean to have an abortion. |

According to the North Middleton Township Police Department, William C. Byers Augusta, 19, was charged Friday after a police investigation revealed multiple photos and videos depicting child pornography on his computer and cell phone. Byers Augusta is scheduled for arraignment Monday before Magisterial District Judge Paul M. Fegley. (Black) "Chisholm man" (with African name) accused of rape/kidnap/assault of female Chisholm, MN -- A Chisholm man has been charged in connection with the alleged kidnapping and sexual assault of a female who fell asleep in her car earlier this month. The female says the car was parked in the Chisholm Disc Golf Course parking lot around 1 a.m. on Oct. 9. Authorities were called to the scene at 4:30 a.m. on reports that a female had been raped. She claims Owoidighe Ekanem, 34, who was a stranger to her, knocked on the window awakening her. She told authorities she opened the door thinking he was a police officer or her friend. He reportedly questioned her and threatened to call the police. She says she then attempted to call the police, but he allegedly grabbed her phone, pulled her out of the car by her hair, hit her face several times and tied her sweatshirt around her head. The female says he told her not to look at him or he would kill her, according to the criminal complaint. The female claims he then put her into his Ford Escape, drove around a little, then stopped and raped her in a wooded area. She says he then drove to a different location where he parked and allegedly raped her again in the backseat. The victim was taken to a hospital in Hibbing, where she was interviewed by authorities. It was determined that she suffered a fractured nose. |

Suspect arrested in rape of 78-year-old Gulfport woman GULFPORT, Mississippi -- Police have arrested a 44-year-old man in connection with the rape of a 78-year-old Gulfport woman Wednesday night. According to Gulfport Police Sgt. Damon McDaniel, police arrested Deltber Keyes Thursday at a residence in the 700 block of 26th Street, where he was visiting family. McDaniel said it is unknown at this point if Keyes is a resident of the area. Keyes' arrest came from an investigation of a rape reported in the 800 block of 25th Street just before midnight Wednesday. Investigators learned the victim heard noises outside and went out into her yard, where she encountered the suspect. Keyes is accused of forcing the woman back inside her home, holding her against her will and raping her. He also is suspected of taking an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the scene. |
2 (White) EMS workers 'came within inches of dying' after box cutter attack (by black) in Detroit DETROIT - Two Detroit EMS workers were seriously injured Tuesday when they were attacked by a man with a box cutter near the Neighborhood Service Organization in the 3400 block of 3rd Street. A woman near the NSO building reported a sprained ankle and the two EMS workers worked on her across the street. When the crew determined that the woman wouldn't be transported in the rig, a man she was with became enraged and pulled out a weapon. Prosecutors say the Londons were gunned down in their home to keep them from testifying against three United Blood Nation members in an earlier robbery case. Guilty pleas were entered in U.S. District Court in Charlotte on Tuesday for the following defendants: David “Flames” Fudge of Pineville. He drove the get-away car after a failed robbery of the Londons’ mattress store and took an active role planning the London killings, prosecutors say. Rahkeem “Hitman” McDonald of Charlotte. He buried the murder weapon and destroyed other evidence, prosecutors say. Ibn “IB” Kornegay of Greenville, N.C. He is a top UBN leader from eastern North Carolina, prosecutors say. Centrilia “CeCe” Leach of Charlotte. She photographed Debbie London at a court hearing as part of the gang’s plan, prosecutors say. Daquan “Day Day” Everett of Charlotte. (Worthless black) Teen pleads guilty to killing (White) Seattle man for his cell phone SEATTLE -- The teenager who shot and killed a Seattle man during a botched cell phone robbery pled guilty Monday to first degree murder. Byron White was 17-years old in February of 2014 when he tried to rob David Peterson in Seattle's Greenwood neighborhood. Peterson refused to hand over the phone, and White decided to leave. But when White heard the victim calling 911, he turned around, pulled out a gun and shot Peterson once in the chest, according to court documents. According to prosecutors, White later told a friend he was disappointed Peterson's phone was not a nicer model. Prosecutors say his mother led investigators to White at Sea-Tac Airport, where he was arrested before he could board a flight to Atlanta. - (Black-on-white) |
