Citizenship status of the Hispanic suspect has not been reported in this news article...  DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- Dallas Police arrested a 21-year-old man after the suspect allegedly shot and killed a 35-year-old man Saturday afternoon.
Martin Rocha Pena allegedly shot the 35-year-old over a physical dispute between the man and a juvenile. The incident happened at the Casa De Arroyo apartments off of Spring Valley Road, where the man and the juvenile were in a physical dispute. the juvenile fled, but eventually returned with Rocha Pena, who then shot the man in the chest. Officers pronounced him dead at the scene. Rocha Pena admitted to shooting the man and was taken to Dallas county jail, where he is being held on 1 million dollar bail.

The trial of the man accused of the murder of  former University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts has been rescheduled for this fall in Sioux City.
25-year-old Cristhian Bahena Rivera will stand trial for first degree murder on September 29th in Woodbury County District Court. The trial was moved to Sioux City on a change of venue from Poweshiek County. Rivera is accused in the stabbing death of Tibbetts, who disappeared while out jogging in Brooklyn, Iowa on July 18th of 2018. Rivera led investigators to her body a month later in a cornfield. Rivera worked at a dairy farm a few miles from where Tibbetts disappeared.

Brayan Segura, aka Brayan Rivas, told police Wednesday he had stabbed the girl multiple times, his arrest warrant states. The teen also told investigators he contacted an “unknown person” to help him kill the girl at a Roswell Road apartment complex, according to police. Segura, who lives in Marietta, then attempted to conceal the girl’s death. “Said accused, knowing victim was already deceased and the whereabouts of her remains, concealed the victim’s death and the whereabouts of her remains by continuously lying to the police during the course of their investigation.”  Thursday morning, investigators located Segura, who told police he stabbed the girl as part of his initiation into the MS-13 street gang. “According to the accused, the victim was (a member of the) 18th Street gang, which is a rival of MS-13.”

Police in Texas are searching for an 18-year-old girl who claimed in a series of Snapchat videos to have tested positive for and to be "willfully spreading" the coronavirus. The teenager, identified by the Carrollton Police Department as Lorraine Maradiaga, faces a charge of making a terroristic threat. "I'm here at Walmart about to infest every motherf------, because if I'm going down, all you motherf------ are going down,"   Another video later shows Maradiaga in a car, coughing into the camera.
Maradiaga said: "If you want to get the coronavirus and f-----' die, call me. I'll meet you up and and I will shorten your life."
