Years After (white) Miss. Teen Jessica Chambers Was Burned to
Death (by black), Family Still Waits for Justice First one jury, then a second, failed to reach a verdict on whether an accused man splashed fuel on Jessica Chambers and caused the 19-year-old former high school cheerleader to die by setting her on fire on a rural Mississippi road in 2014. Neither convicted nor cleared, the suspect, Quinton Tellis, now sits in jail awaiting trial for an unrelated murder in neighboring Louisiana. The victim in that case, 34-year-old Meing-Chen Hsiao, was a Taiwanese exchange student who was tortured and stabbed more than 30 times in her apartment in July 2015 by someone allegedly trying to obtain the PIN number to her debit card, according to affidavits obtained by PEOPLE. These affidavits name Tellis as her accused killer. Her decomposing body was not found for 10 days. Tellis has pleaded not guilty to Hsiao’s murder, just as he and his defense attorney maintained his innocence through the two Chambers trials. But while Chambers’ family hopes that a third trial in the Chambers case may yet deliver the justice they seek, the Mississippi prosecutor, John Champion, tells PEOPLE that he’s not rushing forward. “I’m just going to wait and see what happens in Louisiana,” he says. The New York-New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force, comprising dozens of local and federal law-enforcement agencies, has been tapped to find the boy, sources said. The 14-year-old black killer suspect, whom cops have not publicly identified because he is a juvenile — but whose photo they have released — has been on the run since early last week, when he bolted from a car while on his way with a guardian to talk to cops, sources have said. - (Black-on-white) |

State Trooper, Forcing Officer to Shoot and Kill Him An Arizona state trooper shot and killed a Qatari man who violently attacked him during a traffic stop, and it was all caught on the police dash cam. 25-year-old Mohamed Ahmed Al-Hashemi, who was in the US on a student visa, threw a street sign onto a road in Phoenix last Thursday, sparking a violent confrontation with the officer. Trooper Hugh Grant ordered Al-Hashemi to pick up the sign, but he refused to obey commands even as the trooper ordered him to stop walking in the middle of the street. Al-Hashemi then approached the police car and kicked the front grill. The trooper used a stun gun to subdue Al-Hashemi but it didn’t stop him from rushing the officer and violently punching and kicking him. After over a minute of fighting, the trooper, who was in a fight for his life had no choice but to fire his weapon, killing Al-Hashemi. The dashboard cam shows the violent encounter and Trooper Grant was even thrown to the ground at one point. Al-Hashemi was screaming the entire time he kicked and punched the officer. The state trooper also had a female ride-along in the car from MADD [Mothers Against Drunk Driving] so he feared for her safety as well. |

(AP) — A newspaper has published a secret church report about a former West Virginia bishop ousted for alleged sexual and financial misconduct. The Washington Post reports law enforcement does not have a copy of the report, which officials said could aid in their investigation into former bishop Michael Bransfield. The Post said it received a copy of the 60-page report, which details how Bransfield allegedly groomed and inappropriately touched young men, in June. Bransfield is also accused of spending church funds on dining out, liquor, personal travel and luxury items, as well as personal gifts to fellow bishops and cardinals in the U.S. and Vatican. Bransfield resigned in September 2018 amid allegations of sexual and financial misconduct. Earlier this year, Pope Francis barred Bransfield from public ministry and prohibited him from living in the diocese. West Virginia's attorney general and police in Washington, D.C., have issued subpoenas to church officials in Wheeling, West Virginia, and Baltimore, seeking the report. Attorney General Patrick Morrisey said the church has denied his request for it. He said he was told the report “is with the Pope and out of its hands.” |

Pastor, Music Festival Co-Founder Can’t Withdraw Guilty Plea in
Child Sex Case A former pastor who co-founded a Christian music festival has lost his bid to withdraw his guilty plea in a child sex abuse case. Harry Thomas had argued that his plea was invalid because his testimony had not established an adequate factual basis for four charges against him. But an appellate court rejected those arguments in a ruling issued Friday. Harry Thomas, former Medford pastor, loses bid to withdraw guilty plea For instance, the ruling noted, the pastor had admitted at his plea hearing to “committing an act of digital penetration” against a 9-year-old girl, identified as K.V., in August 2014. Similarly, Thomas acknowledged touching “the genitals or private areas” of three girls ages 7 to 9 in separate incidents between 2000 and 2010. |

According to the criminal complaint: Council was detained by police on Saturday after Philadelphia police spotted Reynolds’ vehicle, a 1999 Toyota, being driven by Jacques Davis. {There is a black man named "Jacques Ahyquil Davis"in Pennsylvania with a criminal record.} Davis told police Council allowed him to drive the vehicle as Council told him his girlfriend was arrested on bench warrants and police let him take the vehicle. Police tracked the vehicle to Philadelphia by EZ-Pass records. After Davis was stopped in Philadelphia, police learned Council was at Davis’ residence in Philadelphia where he was detained. When Council was detained, police said he was in possession of a green Ruger .380 caliber handgun, the complaint says. Police said (the victim) Reynolds recently purchased a green Rugar .380 caliber handgun. Two witnesses who are not named in the complaint told investigators Reynolds was dating a man they knew as “Zien” from Philadelphia, and Reynolds would often drive to Philadelphia to pick him up and return to Wilkes-Barre. Council told investigators he met Reynolds at the Red Rock Job Corps several weeks ago when she began working at the facility. He claimed they began a sexual relationship, the complaint says. Investigators said in the complaint Council claimed Reynolds picked him up in Philadelphia sometime between 3 and 4 p.m. on Dec. 17 and they drove to Wilkes-Barre, where she stopped at a Turkey Hill store on George Avenue. Council claimed he purchased two boxes of condoms and they hung out watching television at Reynolds’ apartment. Council claimed he had a doctor’s appointment in Philadelphia on Dec. 18 and Reynolds wanted to drive him back to Philadelphia. Council did not want to leave and asked Reynolds if he could borrow her Toyota. Investigators said Council admitted to being alone with Reynolds in her apartment and no one else was present when he left. He claimed he attempted to call Reynolds several times but she never answered, the complaint says. During the interview with Council, investigators informed him Reynolds was dead but never explained how she was killed. In response, Council stated he “never pulled a trigger” on anyone, telling investigators he assumed Reynolds was shot, the complaint says.

Santiago Armijo, 17, is one of two teens involved in the murder of Larry DeSantiago, 25, at a park in Albuquerque in March 2018. Witnesses told investigators they saw DeSantiago chase Armijo and his friend, Jeremiah De La Pena, 16, toward the top of a hill before Armijo shot him in the chest. “That’s what you get!" Armijo shouted at DeSantiago, according to the Albuquerque Journal, which reported Santiago later died at a hospital. Armijo and De La Pena were later arrested in a nearby neighborhood and police found the weapon in De La Pena's jacket. On Thursday, Judge Christina Jaramillo sentenced Armijo to 30 days in juvenile jail after the teen, who was 15 at the time of the shooting, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, tampering with evidence, one misdemeanor count of unlawful possession of a handgun and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Demonic
Democrat Carpet-bagger Abolitionist majority could bring
monumental change to Confederate symbols RICHMOND, Va. (CNS) — Virginia has 110 Confederate monuments, many of which are housed in Richmond, the former capital of the Confederacy. Among the most notable are the five towering monuments of Confederate leaders lining Monument Avenue. Others live in neighborhoods across the city from Church Hill to Bellevue. The city is home to significant Civil War buildings, including the American Civil War Museum and White House of the Confederacy. Street names such as Confederate Avenue inhabit the Northside, while Jefferson Davis Highway, named for the president of the Confederacy, runs along the city and throughout the state. Schools such as John B. Cary Elementary — named after a Confederate soldier who later served as his district’s superintendent — and George Mason Elementary — named after a slave-owning Founding Father — still exist even though concern for renaming the schools has been articulated. In recent years, residents have been pushing for the Monument Avenue monuments to come down. But the statues, which represent the dark and violent history of slavery for some Virginians and their families, stand tall, staring down the median of a prominent and busy avenue. This is in part because the power to remove the monuments has been denied to localities under the Dillon Rule, which allows the state to limit the powers of local governments. However, a new Demonic Dem majority in Virginia’s state legislature may open the door to more local government control — and perhaps the removal of the monuments. The Dillon Rule is derived from the 1868 written decision by Judge John Dillon of Iowa. Dillon identified local governments as political subdivisions of the state government. According to the American Legislative Exchange Council, 39 states apply the Dillon Rule to some capacity. Thirty-one apply it to all localities, while eight use the rule for only certain municipalities. The Virginia Supreme Court adopted the Dillon Rule in 1896. |

her own driveway by hit-and-run black-white sex car A 63-year-old grandmother has died nearly a week after she was run over and dragged by a car after its occupants were having sex in her driveway in Zion, her family said. The Zion Police Department and Zion Fire-Rescue Department responded around 9:49 a.m. December 7 to the 2200 block of Elisha Avenue in Zion for a report of a hit-and-run crash. Nancy Ezell, 63, of Zion, was struck by an older model gray Honda Civic sedan and then dragged before the car fled the scene. Ezell’s family told Lake and McHenry County Scanner that the 63-year-old woman and her adult granddaughter noticed the Honda in her driveway and went outside to investigate. She saw a man and a woman inside the vehicle having sex, her family said. Ezell confronted the two inside the car and asked them what they were doing. Her granddaughter then went inside the house to call police and Ezell went behind the vehicle to write down the license plate. The man inside the car jumped into the driver’s seat and put the vehicle into reverse, backed up and ran the woman over. Ezell was dragged underneath the car and suffered critical injuries. “That is when the driver floored it in reverse and hit her to prevent her from getting the license plate numbers, dragged her out into the street, put it in drive, went over her again and sped away,” one of Ezell’s family members said. Police said that a black male was driving the vehicle and a white female was in the passenger seat. - (Black-on-white) |

Elmhurst couple’s baby, burglarizing their home ELMHURST, Ill. — Bond was set at $750,000 for a Harvey man accused of burglarizing an Elmhurst couple’s home and stealing, among other things, the ashes of their late infant son. Glenn Addison appeared in court Saturday after being arrested Wednesday. Addison was on parole for a 2014 burglary and was charged with one count of felony residential burglary after police said he broke into a home on the 200 block of Melrose Avenue on Dec. 10. The home’s owners, Sue and Jim LaDeur, said someone smashed a window, went inside and ransacked the home. Sue LaDeur said they stole a few items, including coins, and also took a little white box containing her son’s ashes. The DuPage County State’s Attorney said while the charge was a Class I felony, because of Addison’s criminal history, he was eligible for Class X sentencing. The LaDeurs’ son, Billy, died five years ago when he was only 10-days-old after health issues. The LaDeurs kept the small box of ashes on her dresser along with a small cast of his hand and foot — all that his parents had left to cherish. The LaDeurs were planning to bury his ashes with them when they died. - (Black-on-white) |

Rossi detailed for the court how Thompson sent her mother death threats, blackmailed her with her own nude photos while demanding Bitcoin, and managed to evade service for nine separate restraining orders she’s filed since 2015. She blasted him for “using the Jewish community as a tool” and said she still lives with a “sense of dread” — especially since he still tweets about her from prison. “This was never no O.J. type s–t. The teen eventually told another Devereux employee. A 12-year-old girl told officials she was assaulted at the same facility in September. Court records detail how Bloom allegedly inappropriately touched her several times. |

arrests 10 members of BIZARRO (black) ‘Brick Squad,’ a
drug ring linked to shooting death Members of a crime ring known as the Brick Squad — who speak in an elaborate made-up language and report to a leader nicknamed The Godfather — were arrested on a slew of murder, weapons and drug charges, authorities said Friday. Ten alleged gangsters — who also went by the name “Immortal Stone Gorilla Gang” — were nailed in a sweeping 48-count indictment centering on a widespread drug ring and a shooting death last year, according to Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez. The three men connected to the slaying of Claudell Gary, 37 — Quazeer Farmer, Stephan Khadu and Markel Pender— each face charges of murder in the second degree along with criminal possession of a weapon, authorities said. Gary was killed outside of a church in Bed Stuy in April 2018. Other gang members allegedly sold marijuana, cocaine and fentanyl-laced heroin as far away as Bangor, Maine, authorities said. To run the scheme, gang members communicated via a code they called “Ape Music” — using the word “A-Rod” for cocaine, “hustler music” for Harlem and “home invasion” for heroin, authorities said. |

(KTVU) - A registered sex offender was arrested Wednesday by San Rafael police after he walked onto a high school campus and allegedly sexually assaulted two students, police and a school official said. Police said a call came in from Terra Linda High School about

students and staff acting kind of weird. They weren't sure
what his intentions were," said San Rafael Police Lieutenant Dan
Fink. The student notified a teacher, who escorted the man
to the administration office. Police said the suspect groped a student's bottom and followed another girl. It was also reported that he put his arm around a teacher as she escorted him to the office. The man, identified as 39-year-old Willie Jones of San Rafael, was brought back to the police station for questioning and subsequently arrested, police said. Jones is a registered sex offender because of a previous child annoyance conviction. |

charged with animal cruelty after horse dies in front of
detectives KENTWOOD - A man is facing animal cruelty charges after sheriff's deputies found three malnourished horses, one of which died as officers tried to rescue it. The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office says it investigated the property in Kentwood after it received an anonymous tip about the abuse. There, deputies found three horses which all appeared to be malnourished. The pasture used to house the animals was said to be filled with metal debris and had no signs of fresh food or water. One of the horses was found lying on the ground struggling to breathe, with a second found a short distance away on the property. A third apparently escaped through a broken portion of the fence and was found roaming in a nearby field. With help from the Tangi Humane Society, deputies tried to get the first horse back on its feet but were ultimately unsuccessful. The animal was said to be too weak to eat or drink on its own and was handfed by detectives. After two hours of rendering care, the horse stopped breathing and passed away. The two remaining horses were corralled and taken off the property by the humane society. The owner, 33-year-old Christopher O'Neil Gordon, was nowhere on the property but was later located by the sheriff's office. He was taken into custody and booked for aggravated cruelty to animals. |

Runaways
were lured into NYC sex trafficking ring by Hispanic pimp A sex trafficking ring that forced runaway girls into prostitution was broken up by authorities who said the alleged pimps threatened to post explicit photos of their victims on Facebook. Prosecutors said the long-term investigation began after a 16-year-old girl ran away from her Connecticut home and reported to the NYPD that she was being trafficked. Four defendants were indicted last year, and their arrests led to an investigation that netted more suspects. New indictments were handed up against Andrew Mendez, 20, and Jordan Rodriguez, 25, for a sex trafficking conspiracy in which they forced two young women to engage in prostitution from March 2017 through December 2017, according to Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance. In a separate indictment, Mendez and Dasheim Greene, 24, were charged with conspiring to prostitute a 15-year-old girl and attempting to prostitute a 14-year-old girl during the same time period. |

to case of subhuman pack of black 'teens' attack and brutal
murder of the White female student Tessa Majors Tessa Majors murder: NYPD struggles to give details on investigation The NYPD didn’t have much to show on Thursday for its week-long investigation into the murder of Barnard College student Tessa Majors. Cops provided few new details on the high-profile investigation, with Chief of Patrol Rodney Harrison claiming he was “confident” that cops would bust the teens sought in the Dec. 11 robbery and killing at Manhattan’s Morningside Park — despite being forced to release one suspect last week. Police arrested 13-year-old Zyairr Davis last week on a charge of felony murder but released a 14-year-old suspect following several hours of questioning. A third suspect — believed to be the stabber — is still in the wind. While speaking at 1 Police Plaza, Harrison denied previous reports that the unapprehended teen jumped out of a car while on his way to meet with cops Monday. 'All

serial killer indicted in 1984 slaying in Georgia SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) — The man the FBI calls the deadliest serial killer in U.S. history has been indicted in Georgia in the slaying of a woman whose body was found on a pile of construction debris more than three decades ago. A grand jury in Savannah returned an indictment Wednesday bringing a new murder charge against 79-year-old Samuel Little. He has confessed to more than 90 killings from Florida to California, prompting detectives with cold cases from across the U.S. to seek interviews with Little at the Texas prison where he's already serving multiple life sentences. Little has said he killed two women in Savannah decades ago. A police detective sifting through stacks of old incident reports managed to link Little to the unsolved killing of Frances Campbell, Chatham County District Attorney Meg Heap said. Campbell had been missing for a year when her body was discovered in 1985 on a pile of debris from the construction of an interstate highway, Heap said. Little recognized Campbell from a photograph sent by the police detective. Heap said Little agreed to speak with the detective on the condition that prosecutors would not seek the death penalty. |

unfit to stand trial A man accused of firing an assault weapon outside a Veterans Affairs hospital in Chicago last summer was ordered to be hospitalized for further evaluation and treatment by a federal judge Friday after a psychologist testified he was mentally unfit to stand trial. Bernard Harvey, who has been held at a federal Loop jail since his arrest in August, nodded his head after U.S. Magistrate Judge Susan E. Cox told him he would be going to a federal prison hospital. Harvey can be held for up to four months before another court hearing must take place. Jason Dana, a psychologist for the U.S. Bureau of Prisons in Chicago, testified Friday that he had evaluated Harvey and determined that he suffers from schizophrenia and delusional thinking. At one point as Dana described his evaluation, Harvey, 41, raised both of his hands as he sat at the defense table in Cox’s courtroom. Inside the hospital, people were running and screaming, some taking shelter in bathrooms, witnesses told reporters. The building was evacuated as police began investigating. |

Trump
admin proposes further restrictions on asylum claims from
criminal migrants The Trump administration on Wednesday proposed a rule that would expand the list of crimes, including some misdemeanors, for which a migrant can be barred from being granted asylum in the U.S. "Because asylum is a discretionary benefit, aliens who are eligible for asylum are not automatically entitled to it," the rule says. "Rather, after demonstrating eligibility, aliens must further meet their burden of showing that the Attorney General or Secretary should exercise his or her discretion to grant asylum." The proposed regulation, announced by the departments of Justice and Homeland Security, would provide seven additional restrictions for asylum eligibility to those already in place. The rule would then bar any migrants convicted of a felony under federal or state law, as well as offenses including alien smuggling, illegal re-entry or a crime involving criminal street gang activity. The rule would also bar migrants from claiming asylum who had been convicted of offenses including driving under the influence (DUI) and domestic violence. Most controversially, the rule would also apply to misdemeanors related to false identification, drug possession and welfare fraud -- something likely to raise the ire of pro-migrant and other civil rights groups. - (Invasion) |

bank robbery led to Oregon stabbing rampage that left a woman
dead and 3 victims injured - Hispanic arrested A botched bank robbery at a crowded Oregon shopping mall a week before Christmas apparently ignited a stabbing rampage that left a woman dead and three victims wounded, police said. The suspect in the deadly eruption of violence on Wednesday in Beaverton, Oregon, that included two knife-point carjackings, was identified by police as Salvador Martinez-Romero. Martinez-Romero, 20, is expected to be arraigned Thursday afternoon on charges of murder, attempted murder and robbery. During the robbery, the suspect fatally stabbed a female customer and attacked another woman before fleeing the bank, police said. The second victim survived being stabbed and was in critical condition at a hospital, police said. After running out of the bank, the suspect attacked a man, stabbing him and stealing his car in an attempt to make a getaway, according to authorities. As officers fanned out around the mall searching for the suspect, police in nearby Tigard, Oregon, received a report that a woman was stabbed in a residential neighborhood by a man matching the description of the Wells Fargo bank suspect, officials said. The names of the woman who was killed and the three injured victims were not immediately released. Citizenship status of the
Hispanic suspect has not been reported in this news article...

smuggling adapts despite US crackdown, report says Despite the hardening of U.S. and Mexican immigration policies, the shadowy enterprise of smuggling migrants — that governments on both sides of the border have promised to crack down on — is big business. The Associated Press reported that the smuggling business has learned to adapt and has thrived. The money keeps flowing. The massive return of asylum seekers to Mexico — more than 55,000 this year — has meant more business opportunities for smugglers. It’s a multibillion-dollar business that the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime estimates involves $4 billion annually. The Mexican government has calculated it could be as high as $6 billion. - (Invasion) |
